over priced drinks, total rip off place because that’s all what russians know how to do. they charge you a RIDICULOUS amount of surcharge. bring out drinks that no one ordered then charge you for them. i was there twice and actually last night was there for my friends birthday and we had an issue with the bill. they tried charging us money for two people that had paid separately! please roll your cameras back and see!.. that only thing good about this place is the karaōke!

I’ve been here a few times with my boyfriend and I enjoy coming here for a few reasons. There is no glitz, glamour, and professionalism here, so don’t coming looking for that. I actually enjoy this place for the exact opposite reason. It’s a small, hole in the wall, type of place, dim lights, somewhat shady, interesting crowd, loud music, smoky… something about all of this oddly enough makes for a fantastic date night when you feel like throwing back drinks and canoodling. Place reminds me of Vegas. Great hookah with a decent amount of flavors and options. Drink and shots menu is DIZZYING, so so so many options. I’ll admit, many of the options of drink scared me because they are those sweet type of sugary drinks that would appeal to amateur drinkers because of their colors and catchy names. However, both of the drinks I’ve had here were not what I feared they would be and were actually great. My tip would be to stick to one type of drink here when you come, mixing and matching is a recipe for disaster. The Incredible Hulk is STRONG and does the job… the Hurricane was excellent. Karaōke is offered here and very entertaining to listen to, the videos being showed have nothing at all to do with the songs being played which is hysterical. Really awesome place to unwind and relax. Deducting one star for the service. Tip is already included and written as «service charge» no matter what you get. Bill is handwritten so it’s confusing to know what exactly costs what. No doubt this is done on purpose. Some of the female servers are the most thirsty people in this place, try way too hard to make those tips. I’d rather you not hang all over my SO and bend over our table to ask «how it’s going» for the 20^th time.

Place is awesome. Stopped here mid week after dinner for hookah and beers. Great service and GREAT hookah. Staff was adorable and friendly. Will definitely be back.

I came here on Tuesday night. Service was awesome. I ordered hookah and I can say that this hookah was the best hookah that I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend this place :)

So the sad thing about this place is that the hookah is really good for that area. However, the service was horrible. I went for a late night walk and decided to stop in. They were quick to ask me what I wanted and to take my order. 15 min later as I am smoking my hookah I am told that they were closing (why did you not tell me this before I sat down to relax). I was so satisfied with the hookah that I simply said okay sure, do you mind if I finish my hookah, as there were several other people at the bar. The server said no problem. Which was great, but then they just stared at me for the entire 5 min that I attempted to fill my lungs with as much smoke as possible (I do not like to waste my money). They also turned on the lights and turned off the music and just continued to stare at me.
As I was leaving I asked the bartender what are your normal hours so I know next time. She looked at me, and completely ignored me. This happened for about 5 more times. Then I asked one last time, and said, «hey, I am asking, to receive an answer». She said that, her answer is, that she doesn’t know (you could have just said that).
The owner came over, and she nicely told me that it depended on the business. I said okay, that is all I was asking for.
So in short, these two stars is because of the horrible brunette bartender they had on 10÷14÷2015… She sucked.

Very good karaōke spot in the neighborhood. Food is great and prices are good. Very good service. Highly recommend.

NO! It’s definitely my first and last time going here! The owner overcharged us on everything and wouldn’t budge when we told him the prices were wrong. The staff was really rude. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Just no. Wanna know why?
1. My friend used to work there. The secret is they mixing alcohol. Like in the bottle of grey goose you gonna find cheap house vodka. Thats it. So if you are not consider yourself as a fool better ask to open bottle in front of you are just have some beer.
2. Owner are screaming at his waitress in front of costumers. Man thats sucks.
3. They are not even worried if some homeless or freaks are coming and starts bothering other costumers.
I will never go there even if they will offer me $ 1000 for coming

No, No, No!
Been there a few times and very time it was getting worse and worse. U have to scream into the microphone if you want to be heard singing. Even new microphones are really bad, can’t hear anything. Drunk people walking around and nobody cares about them even when they start picking on others. The owner hangs out with girls at the bar and doesn’t give a thing to whats going on in his place.
Gave two stars only to waiters, girls are nice. Otherwise it would be no star at all.

Good (but pricey) drinks and fun atmosphere. Laid-​back and realistic, unlike many Russian-​oriented bars in the area. Great selection of songs — English, but mostly Russian. I don’t entirely understand why people get upset with the service — the bartender was incredibly nice, uncharacteristically so for a Russian-​speaking establishment. I’ve been living in this area for several years and never thought to come in … I’m looking forward to returning.

I randomly came here while hanging out in Manhattan Beach one weekend and it was a hoot– very friendly staff and fun drinks. Great place if you’re looking for a quirky, karaōke-​filled evening without the crowds. If you are in the mood for karaōke, the selection is mostly Russian popular songs, but there is a nice selection of American standards.

This is the first and last time I’ll ever go here. I recently moved here a month ago and wanted to check out this bar. I’m seriously not understanding the great reviews about this place as I experience nothing great. Immediately as my boyfriend and I walked through the door, the snotty «waitress/​DJ/​bartender» gave us a shitty attitude and sat us to the back under the speakers. They played awful music, which consisted of bad 80s and hypererotic garbage. The food was basically deep fried frozen crap that I could have gotten out of a homeless man’s dumpster and the cheap wines were outrageously overpriced.
One of the waitresses was really nice and the furniture was decent. That was about the only thing I enjoyed.
If you plan on going to this place, you might as well take the trip to Buckley’s instead. At least they have decent food, drinks and friendly staffs.

Nice place to hang out… and have some drinks. Used to go there a lot 4 years ago… great memories… Even though now im hearing that the waitresses r bitchy i will deff go there next time im in Brooklyn just to sit and have some drinks with friends.

I’ve been here several times and my experiences have ranged from just OK to horrible. The worst was when I was sitting at the bar and the owner of the place was screaming at the bartender for something really minor. He was really giving it to her too right in front of the customers! Who does that??? I felt so bad that I left her quite a sizable tip. Don’t see myself coming back here.

An excellent lounge on Ave. U in Brooklyn. They serve a long list of drinks with funny names (made really well, not cheap on the alcohol!) and have a dance floor and little stage. A really great place to stop by and chat up with some friends. Oh and they also serve appetizers and hot food.
The owner is Russian and hence this is a popular Russian-​speaking lounge.
