Had to get a rental car while mine was in the shop getting repaired. Since Enterprise is Geico’s preferred partner, the negotiated rates were very good. I’m glad I picked this location as it was very well staffed and nice. I can’t remember who helped me, but they were great and easily accommodated my request for an SUV the first day so I could take care of an errand and swap it out for a smaller car the same day for no charge. Great customer service.

So I tried enterprise for the first time and the staff was great. Especially Mr. Kamau Carter. He got me the nicest car in the lot. And he was just super great. I must come back

After many negative rental car experiences over the years I didn’t expect much from enterprise. But I was shocked! They could not have been more helpful or courteous. The level of customer service is higher than most NYC business! Kamau the assistant manager helped us and went above and beyond. Thank you enterprise and especially Kamau!!!

I was helped by Kwesi Victor Branch 2493-​239 State st. He got me in and out fast in my car of choice. I also spoke to Armondo prior to getting there and he answered all of my questions, very helpful. Prior to this, I traveled to the location at JFK building 69 and it was a nightmare! On Sunday night I spoke to a local rep at the branch that wouldn’t answer a simple question. What cars do you have available? All she said is «we have no premium cars at this location and you will just have to come out here to see what’s available». After providing her with all of my information including my reservation number… I got there only to have them refuse to give me a car because Geico was paying for it. I wasted $ 40 on Über for no reason. I don’t know Enterprise’s policy when it comes to insurance claims but they need to explain them to everyone at their branches. State st. is my go to location even although I’m too far to get picked up.

We had been consistently using Hertz in Brooklyn Heights where the last time we booked a car, they ran out of cars and we were left without one. We switched to Enterprise this time. What a difference. The service is so much friendlier. They are super efficient. And the price per day was over $ 30 less! Enterprise is now our go-​to for car renting in NYC.

We had a great experience using Enterprise on State street. The guys there were so accommodating, especially Mark. He really worked hard to make sure we had the vehicle we needed and all with a smile. I’d not only use them again, but I’d certainly recommend them, too.

**** This place is horrible I highly recommend if you can go to another car dealer please do. The customer service is horrendous, I waited over 15 minutes before I was assisted and when I was it was to move my car off the premises. I told the reservation agent how bad their customer service was and he just shrugged his shoulders because he really didn’t care…
They provide zero parking for anyone trying to rent a car if you drive to there location. If you want a b ad experience please go to this place and I am positive that a lot of reviews for this place was written by the staff. ****

This Enterprise is simply phenomenal! Every time I walk in the customer service is amazing, no matter who is there! These guys really know how to take care of their customers. Can’t remember a single instance that i’ve gone and been dissatisfied and i’ve rented from them well over 25 times.

So I set up my Unilocal account just so I could write a review for these folks! Was a super easy rental experience and the team was very accommodating. Mark McLaughlin got me into a car quickly and did his best to get something that was both affordable and comfortable. He was there to support when I returned the car too and gave me a few laughs throughout the process. Shahon Marshall, Kamall Carter, and Damien Murray were all also very helpful and helped to keep my spirits up after a horrible experience with my car shop. Keep up the great work guys!

We don’t own a car. We use ZipCar, Car2Go, and Enterprise (Downtown.) They each have their advantages for different trips.
Booking in advance online gets you the best rate but they also have cars at the last minute. The staff is friendly and helpful and they get me in and out as quickly as they can.
The car I rented once got bumped while parked. The damage as covered by my credit card insurance and Enterprise worked out all the details as much as possible.
I would (and definitely will) rent from them again.

This place is the best car rental business in downtown Brooklyn. No kidding. The prices are fair, the location is convenient, they are open on Sunday’s till noon – which the local competition is not – but the best of all is the staff. They are organized, incredibly friendly, and willing to make last minute changes to reservations to help out their customers. I can’t recommend this location of enterprise highly enough.

Very professional. Rented a Nissan Versa which was good on gas & had no problems whatsoever. Was able to make a few trips up to Wallkill/​Patterson & even through a bit of Connecticut area as part of my journey. General rule = to have the gas tank ¼th full when returned, which is cool: I filled up to full tank at the beginning of the trip & only had to refill about $ 10 more of gas towards the end of the trip. I had the car for a total of 3 days & highly recommend getting the GPS for an extra $ 10 (per day I think) as the GPS has a great ease of use + shows many of upcoming gas stations, food/​rest areas, & even restrooms. Pretty neat! I’m renting again from this spot for sure next time I go to NY.

Great customer service. First time renting from enterprise. The entire process was much simpler than I thought it would be. Reserved a week before online, picked up car and did paperwork in less than 10 minutes. Location is very convenient.

I’ve rented from this ERAC location twice in the past month, and it has actually been quite pleasant each time.
The staff has been very friendly and focused on getting me in and out with the utmost courtesy and speed. And there’s usually some friendly banter as well, so it’s not like they are robots shoveling people into cars.
The one bad review here? Read it carefully — I’m pretty sure following the guidelines, like having a valid license and credit card isn’t cause for a bad review. The nerve of some people. Like the staff are supposed to break the rules (and maybe law) because you are soooo important.
People who do their jobs well everyday do not have to go above and beyond to earn our gratitude and appreciation. And I for one am definitely a repeat customer for this ERAC location.

This is my first review of a rental car agency, but the service here deserves 5 stars! I am a recent transplant to Brooklyn and the East Coast in general and I find service lacking in general — everywhere.
For that reason, when someone goes above and beyond I really take notice. Not only did one staff member impress me, but each person that helped me was quick, efficient and more than friendly. I was remembered by name when I returned the car and they even walked around the counter to speak with me and wish me a good rest of the day.
Bravo to the hiring department for this Enterprise office!
