Came here last night with a friend. I have so many non-trivial food allergies that menus are very tricky. Yet, the waiter was very patient and understanding. After much consultation we agreed the seafood salad was best. And it was delicious. It was a perfect blend of seafood, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, lemon, olives, celery and greens. And the quantity of seafood was generous. Best seafood salad I can remember. I got a second one to take home so I could enjoy it again today. We ate outside which clearly was the best choice for the evening. Service was excellent.

Would like to have reviewed the food for this place in my neighborhood, but unfortunately did not get that far. My wife and I walked out after being treated rudely. The host was friendly, and the one patron already at the bar smiled when we came in(to the rather empty restaurant) on a Wednesday night. But… the lady behind the bar took serious issue when I moved a stool around the corner of the bar. Yep. A few feet from one corner, all the way to the other side of the corner. Why move it? All of the bar stools were touching where it had been, and we wanted just a little room between seats. It was clearly a mistake to do so however, as she came around from behind the bar without saying anything while glaring directly at me, and moved it back over, pointing to an entire empty front section saying they need it on the other side so there is more space for the tables… The empty empty tables in the empty restaurant. Why change that emptiness? We left. Not going back.

I’ve visited Enoteca several times, and the food is consistently tasty and fresh. It’s a great place to go and have a few glasses of wine, and split half of the appetizer menu and a pizza with a group of friends. I recently started to order delivery, and had to write a review based on my most recent order. The delivery was quick and easy, however they did bring one incorrect item rather than the chicken dish that I ordered. I called to let them know that I received an incorrect item, and after a quick apology and promise to make it right– they did, and went above and beyond to deliver me the correct item(and quickly!) I appreciate great customer service, and believe that anyone can make a mistake, it’s how an establishment handles it that retains customers. In this neighborhood where Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen, this is simply one of the best.

Excellent pizza and ambiance. Needed a late night dinner and the food definitely did not disappoint. Walked in and got a table right away(granted, it was 10 pm). Servers were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return on a future New York visit!

DELISH! My mouth waters for the seafood salad. The service & atmosphere is outstanding. But what’s even better is the menu. The oven brick steak, lightly battered chicken, daily specials… all of it! When I have out of town guests visit me in NY I bring them here to show off. Trust me this place is a 10⁄10!

Enoteca was the final stop in our Brooklyn Pizza Tour and did not disappoint. Marco(the owner and head chef) was welcoming and accommodating throughout. We tried the margarita which was made fresh with super tasty sauce. He also whipped up some basil, tomato, and mozzarella(homemade in house) appetizers for us to try — really delicious! Enoteca has a cool vibe to it as well – big bar(tip: if you order a beer at the bar they will offer you a free small pizza — say yes!!), huge pizza oven, some tables, and a big space out back that is either open in the warmer months or covered in the winter month. There was a private event(baby shower) going on back there when we visited and it looked to be the perfect space for such a gathering. We were only here for pizza this time, but some of the entrees smelled and looked delicious as well, particularly the chicken and fish dishes. Our tour guide highly recommended the paninis – specifically the steak – and he shared that you won’t find a better one! Will have to come back, I guess!

Tops in the neighborhood for the pizza. Open late, friendly, unpretentious and good quality, tasty food. What else can you ask for? A personal favorite is the buffala pizza — truly one of the best pizzas in the city. I’m not kidding! (Note: there are plenty of quibbles I could pick if I were so inclined — the calzones are far for the best, for example — but that’s not the point. If you’re looking for comfortable and tasty Italian food, you’ll find it here. Even among the crowded neighborhood list of places that seemingly meet those criteria, this one is a winner.)

This is our third time of many to come. It’s true… this just may be the finest in NYC. Five solid stars, not because of white linen tablecloths and silverware you done even recognize, but because the quality and authenticity will blow your mind. Enoteca is as casual or dressy casual as you wish; next door is the related Marco Polo if you want a little more formal. The wood fired pizza oven is the center of attention here, producing pies, calzone, spedini. The grilled oven roasted butterflied calamari spedini puts all others to shame. I doubt if anything here has ever seen a freezer. The dressings, sauces, desserts, pasta… homemade. The service just feels like family. The wine selection is extensive and affordable enough to make this a weekly destination. LOVE this place!

What a great place. The service is wonderful and the pizza is as close to Roman style as I’ve had here in the States. Try the artichokes.

So this is the 2nd time I’ve been here. First time was 4 stars. The classic bruschette and Americana pizza were tasty. Got the sauvignon blanc and that was 2 stars. I thought this was supposed to be a wine bar? The wine tastes like cheap box wine. Otherwise, service was super attentive and pleasant. Second time was a different story. I made the mistake of ordering the wine again… should have just stuck with cocktails. We tried the Olive Pâté bruschette and that was just meh. Then we got the Norma pizza. Interesting concept. I love all of the ingredients alone but I’m not so much together. The pizza took ages to come out, and when it finally did, it was cold. Super disappointed because their crust is to die for. As for the service, it was few and far between. Not nearly as friendly or attentive as the first time. I’m willing to give it another shot since the first time their was pretty great, but last night was definitely a bumber.

Wandered here after an ikea trip and am sure glad I did! The pizza here is pretty legit. We took advantage of their special that night — free 5 inch pizza with a $ 5 beer. A pretty great deal. We scored a cold one for a few bucks and a really good baby pizza. The pizza was crispy and flavorful. However, the pizza is only big enough as an appetizer or a snack. The other winner was a regular sized pistachio pie with prosciutto and mushrooms. Wow! Large pieces of prosciutto on a crispy pie. Great flavor and pretty original! Would totally recommend the pizza! The people who work there are super nice as well!

There are certain sentences you just don’t say aloud, for fear of judgment, for fear of commitment, for fear of regretting it later. But, look, I’ve been thinking this over for three years now, and I’m finally ready to not simply say it – I’m ready to Unilocal it: Enoteca is my favorite restaurant in New York City. Service is fantastic. The food is great. The drinks are tasty and strong. I moved to the city over four years ago, but this spot was the first place that truly felt like home. I fell in love here, with the restaurant and my boyfriend, and even though I relocated to the UWS a year ago, I come here often because I miss it. I think that’s the test of a truly wonderful restaurant – if you come back to the area, for an hour, for the night, do you miss it enough to overlook all other options and eat there? Or do you tell yourself, «maybe next time?» Enoteca isn’t a maybe for me. It’s a definitely. Try the artichoke pizza, the filet of sole with olive breadcrumbs, the fried calamari, and the peach sangria. Try it for Valentine’s Day, for a dinner with your parents, for a first date, for an anniversary, for dinner tonight or tomorrow or just whenever you’re around. You won’t regret it.

one of the best pizza places in brooklyn. came here during scott’s pizza tour, this was the 3rd place we went. the crust is chewy but crunchy on the outside as well, and the ingredients are all superb. similar to neapolitan style. the margarita is a classic! i love coming here during happy hour — get a drink, and you receive a little small tiny pizza. this is great! it’s like tapas in southern spain. staff is friendly and they provide a homey feeling. their outdoor area(it’s not fully outside, but it has a skylight type ceiling) is beautiful and a nice place for a date night.

Don’t skip out on the pizza, the margherita pizza here was probably better than the pizza I’ve had in Venice and Vatican city. It was a thin crust and the cheese just melts right off. It’s that classic moment where you take a bite and a string of cheese bleeds out and THAT’S how you know it’s good pizza. The goat cheese and honey bruschetta was pretty tasty as well, I was surprised that the combination worked, I only wish the bread was a bit softer because it was like biting into a baguette. The chicken salad was another highlight aside from the pizza. One of the best salads I’ve had, the slices of cheese really gave the dish and oomph. If you come here often enough, you can score a free baby pizza on your fifth check in which I hope to do quite soon.

There’s no more authentic way of cooking Italian food than in a traditional wood-fire brick oven, and Enoteca on Court has a massive one sitting smack in the middle of the restaurant. From the menu, it looks like they cook everything but their salads and pasta in that oven! The Gorgonzola bruschetta was probably the best bruschetta I’ve had in a long time, and I cannot remember the last time I had such good, authentic brick oven pizza. I loved the traditional thin crust on my Margherita pizza, and you could tell they hand make each one to order based on the irregular shape of every pie. They also had some decent looking afternoon drink specials, but I couldn’t try them due to work commitments that evening. Great excuse to make a return trip here!

No complaints here. My fiancée and I shared a margherita pie and Nonna’s calzone(meatballs, ricotta, parmigiano, mozzarella and basil). Very fresh. It was more than enough food for the both of us. It also seemed very authentic in the restaurant. Lots of Italian accents coming from the employees. That’s always a good thing! Great pizza place! Especially when Lucali is closed or packed

Had dinner here one night and you can tell a lot of customers are like family here. They have a wood burning pizza oven and some solid pizza options. We went with the calabrese pizza and that was tasty. We also had the salmon skewer that came with a side salad. Fresh and well marinated fish. They have a full bar and fast and attentive service.

Waiter: The calzone is very big. It’s basically a pizza folded in half. Me: That’s not a problem. Waiter: People have complained it’s too big. Me: [eats it all to prove a point] Enoteca on Court was an affordable stop for me and several friends. We were all craving pasta, but a) the menu has been revised so it i does not match the one posted to Unilocal(no gorgonzola gnocchi, alas) and b) it’s pretty clear the real star of this place is the fresh pizza. There’s a nice back area and a casual front area with specials at the bar like a free«mini pizza» with drinks.
