Ordered a chicken Ceasar wrap for pickup. The lettuce was wilted and the chicken was all tendons, the bits you would usually cut off before cooking and throw out. So the wrap was overall soggy and chewy. The fries were either over cooked or just old. Possibly, probably, both. Also when I went to pick up the food there were a bunch of older men staring at me while we waited for our food. Not really the restaurant’s fault but I’d say not the kind of place you’d want to send your daughter to to pick up lunch.

The only reason why Pilon doesn’t get five stars is because of their delivery person. Since they’ve opened, most of my deliveries has had an item left out. Thankfully they are across the street from me so correcting it was never a hassle — they’ve recently changed delivery guys so there should be some improvement going forward.
The is certainly great; especially for a spot on flatbush. Their serving sizes are big, food always tasty (except that bbq chicken that one time… that tasted like ketchup and struggle) — I always get an order of fried plantains as they are always perfectly ripe and fried to perfection.
I would recommend the House Burger, Pepper Steak and the Pork Stew. They also have great breakfast options /​combinations as well as great drinks — I’m a sucker for a passionfruit lemonade and their actually tastes like it was made from fruit and not color+flavor.
I’ve never eaten at the location so I can’t tell you much about the vibe there.

I would never orde from this place messed up my order and even with 3 different deliveries they never got it right and refuse to refund my money the worst place ever!!!

man, this place was very disappointing. Ordered the roast pork, which was mediocre, and they literally only gave me like 4 chunks (probably less than ¼ pound). In addition the sweet plantains had a weird metallic taste.
