Settled down here for a drink after an memorable evening at Coney Island. We ordered regular margarita and blue moon beer. The margarita was good. We also ordered jalapenos boppers. They were good too. This is a good place to sit down and relax after an evening well spent at Coney Island

Do not go to this place. It looks inviting but the food it gross! The burger was small and dried out and the chicken sandwich was thin. On top of that they only take cash.

This is basically a beach shack with fans. Shrimp cocktail was 6 large shrimp, room temperature, served on anemic shredded iceberg lettuce, with cocktail sauce in plastic cup. Good sauce, but not what I think of for shrp cocktail. No non-alcoholic beverages at all, unless you want a virgin margarita. Out of greens when we tried to order salad! Good snow crab legs but why plate sopping withelted butter instead of on the side?

this is the last you’ll hear with regards to me reviewing Coney Island stuff until the Coney Island UYE in September(SPOILERALERT!). Phil, you can rest easy now. headed here after movie night at the museum. heard a band playing, saw some people in, so we popped in. for some reason, only beer left on tap was Coors Light. so D-Block had to suffer with that. I went for a rum & coke, which was served in a tiny cup, but was pretty much«rum with a splash of coke for flavoring». I am a fan of this mixing method. total for 2 drinks was $ 12. decent. inside looked like a pizzeria. I understand it’s more of a restaurant with a bar attached, not really a hopping nighttime spot. didn’t try any food. the band was actually pretty good! they were a group of older guys playing some classic rock covers — Beatles, ZZ Top, Clapton. we didn’t stay very long, but it seemed like a decent bar to grab a drink or two. I think Julia and I have an itinerary to start planning the bar-hopping segment of that UYE, so in the words of a famous fascist lion… BEPREPARED!!!

After having horrible service at Penny O’Neals and not being able to get into Garigulo’s(sp?) because of our dress attire, we went here. Needless to say, awful. After getting tap water, we ordered chicken strips, a burger, and a chicken sandwich. It took about 25 minutes or so to get our food, which was quite a long time — we were hungry! My boyfriend got the burger and downed it. He said it was alright. My friend got chicken strips that she couldn’t eat. She said they tasted funny(something about the batter). She also got ranch with her chicken and said it tasted weird. I smelled it and it was clearly sour and old. I got the chicken sandwich. I took a bite and thought something tasted funny. Took another bite and was assured something was off. I smelled it and it smelled like it had Windex or some kind of cleaner on it. I was STARVING and wanted to eat it, but I didn’t want to risk getting sick or poisoned! I didn’t pay for my meal and the waitress was very nice about it and apologized sincerely for the bad food. I most likely will not be back…

Did not eat there, just waited out a rain delay for the Cyclones game. I definitely wished they had as much on tap as they had signs hanging on the walls about all the beers they don’t serve.

After having to transfer not one, not two, not three but FOURTIMES on the subway, I felt like I won the lottery to find a bar close by with no line for the bathrooms while the Mermaid parade was going on. We didn’t eat anything but the restaurant was clean, the bar services was fast and friendly. And the DJ was bangin out some old school tracks… Salt n Pepper, Vanilla Ice, Snoop, sooo classic, so much fun.

We went to Coney Island thinking it would be like the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk in CA, but boy were we wrong. It wasn’t anything like it… we were starving after a long subway ride so we decided to eat at Surf and Turf because it looked clean and they had frozen margaritas. The food here was not amazing and when they say onion RINGS it means only 2 onion rings. I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich while others ordered burgers. The service here is good but I only suggest going if you have no where else to go(keep in mind that the world famous Nathan’s is just across the street).

Not a bad option for a few beers in the Coney Island area. There are a few places that are a bit more fun, but this isn’t bad if you’re just looking for a quick pint to hang out. The place is decorated well with the ‘surf & turf’ theme!

I love the crab here. Although they didn’t have the angry crab this time, the snow crab was also very good, and I can’t wait to come back again for the whole crabs. The beers are also nice and cold and fresh. The location is awesome, and after a fun day on the beach or fishing or strolling or roller coasting, this is where its at.
