This place rocks! I have been going here for about 8 years. I always get an excellent mani/​pedi. They are meticulous and the place is very very clean. Everyone who works there is friendly and they remember me. Kelly just did my lashes and they look amazing. I’m getting the same lashes I got in Manhattan in my neighborhood and they look fantastic. I can’t recommend them enough!

Came here after reading a couple of reviews. I normally do my nails myself but sometimes it’s nice to splurge a little. I originally wanted my nails wrapped but after seeing the price I settled for a regular manicure which is average priced, and lower for the neighborhood. The girl took her time with me and my nails came out great. I also liked the fact that they massage you while your nails are drying. I want to get my nails done more often, I will definitely be coming back here. It’s out of the way from where I live, but it’s highly worth it.

Decent nail salon. Very fast and short waiting time. A bit pricey but the neighborhood is overall.

The five stars are for Janet and Cindy. I absolutely love the both of them. They both give AMAZING pedicures… The best! They are so thorough. Cindy does the best acrylics and fills. I get Calgel now and they don’t offer that so I don’t get my nails done here anymore but I won’t let anyone else but these two touch my feet. So I will travel here just for my pedicures.

This was my first time here and I don’t think I will be going back after I go to get my nails done over today. I had a two hour wait while my dog was getting groomed so I decided to get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for my upcoming trip and at the time, I was very pleased with the job they did, now, not so much. I got my manicure on Friday and come Sunday, my nails were already chipping. I have a thumb nail with a chipped corner and a middle finger and ring finger with faded edges. As I mentioned above, I will be going back to get my nails done over as I am not going out of town with nails that already look worn out, but I will probably not be returning.
If I were ranking this only on my manicure, it would get two stars, but the pedicure was done very well. She took her time and it came out great! (A different woman did my pedicure.) So the pedicure is why I gave it three stars.
Overall it was reasonably priced and I really liked the staff. They were nice and friendly and again, with the pedicures, they take their time and they did a great job! I just wish the woman that did my manicure put time into it.
Update!
I went to the salon and requested they fix the chipping and faded nails and the woman said they could add a coat on top of the chipped nails. I told her that would not cut it. I have been getting gel manicures for years and I know that the thicker the polish, the easier it is for corners to lift and you can peel all the polish off! So no, that’s not what I want. I am also going on vacation in Mexico where I will be in the water for a week, I did not want my polish to lift while I am away. After much back and forth, the «head» woman decided to show me Cindy’s Unilocal reviews to say she was great and everyone loved her. I told her I didn’t care and that this time, she wasn’t great and I don’t think she did a good job on my nails. I don’t care about everyone else, I know that I got my nails done Friday and come Saturday and Sunday, they began chipping. Finally, I told her to take it all off and I would go elsewhere. I think it’s safe to say that I will NOT be returning to this salon.

I love this salon because it isn’t one of those new glam ones. It’s been around 17+ years. It’s clean and offers all kinds of services. Kelly is the best waxer, eyelash and brow dyer ever. Family owned and great service. Can’t say enough about why I go to slope when there are 5000 salons in Cobblehill.

Cindy is amazing still, she does my gel/​shellac mani perfect ALWAYS!

Having just moved to the neighborhood I am trying to find my «go to» nail salon and tried Clinton nail spa. I was deterred at first by the appearance– it’s fairly outdated and no frills but the mani and pedi I got turned out great! I really appreciated the time taken to make it perfect even though there were other potential customers waiting. I also appreciated that the woman was very gentle in treating my nails– sometimes salons can be too harsh and it hurts. The mani pedi was $ 30.

It’s always a treat to come here and get serviced. Maggie gives the best massages and pedicures!

Clinton Nails has been my go-​to nail salon in Park Slope for the past 5+ years. Everyone that works there is so friendly and accommodating and I am never disappointed in the service. Although I did regular manicures for years, I recently switched to gel which I love. Pedicures here are great also. It’s not a fancy place, I would definitely say this is the best mani/​pedi that I’ve had in NYC. Cash tips

I got a regular manicure not even a week ago. My nails were painted white with black stripes. The white changed colors. This has NEVER happened at any other nail salon. I will never go back. Poor quality salon.

Not sanitary! The nail clippers were never cleaned. The stick used for nail polish remover was not a new stick. The thought of someone else’s DNA purposely transferred to my hands disgusted me. I almost lost it when the manicurist tried cutting my cuticles. I actually pulled my hand away and let her know I only wanted my cuticles pushed.
My gel nails came out sub par. The UV machine was set to only 10 seconds. After a disappointing job, I was told I owed $ 28. I was going to pay by cash but took it back and paid by credit because I didn’t have enough cash for tips (tips have to be paid in cash here). I was charge $ 29.30 for some reason. Never coming back again.
My manicurist was a female with glasses. Avoid her if you come here.

Clinton nails do great mani and pedis. They know how to shape your nails and make sure they are even. The only problem I have with them is their nail gel. It’s supposed to last 2 weeks but only lasts me a few days. I don’t recommend you do the uv nail gel because it’s not worth the money to have only for a few days. It’s false advertisement.

Stay away from this place! They reuse the nail polish remover, reuse the same sticks in wax — no matter what or who is being waxed, and they are rude when questioned. Don’t bother to make an appointment because they won’t honor it anyway! Customer service is far from being their main objective and if you dare speak up they talk about you in their language. The owner Judy and pseudo owner Kelly have no personality and are tyrants. Their employees are afraid of them — it’s pathetic!
Save your hard earned money and walk over to Creative on 9^th street!

Recently moved into the neighborhood. The place isn’t flashy which doesn’t bother me at all. The gel manicure looks great. My friend got a regular manicure and it was fast and we are both pleased with Clinton Nail Salon!

They we’re able to. attend to me right away. The girl took. a picture and created a design which I. got compliments for during the two. weeks they lasted. Just got shellac. She did a great job. Did not lift.

They do a great job, not too fast not too slow. I would come back for another mani and pedi. They are pretty nice too… but not overly friendly where they start chatting.

I walked in on a late evening for a mani pedi. The ladies were attentive, accurate, and friendly. My nail tech took extra care in being gentle around a problem nail and suggested colors that were appropriate to me.
I would recommend coming here for a clean and accurate nail care experience.

It’s always fast, efficient & professional service, they always known what I need, I’m always satisfied with the service and the overall job, I never have to question their work.
I always get the gel manicure which lasts two weeks, sometimes more, occasionally I get the gel on my toes also, especially in the summer or before a vacation. It’s guarantee that my toes and nails will look perfect for weeks.
I always get my eyebrows waxed here, and have never had a problem, they always come out shaped perfectly.
