It’s not that everything is good, but nothing is bad. They are super consistent. Veggie dumplings are particularly awesome.

I like China City. I came here really late on a Thursday right before they were about to close, wide-​eyed and hungry. I had been on a protein intensive, gluten free diet for the week and needed a break, preferably with soy sauce.
China City hooked it up with the best chinese food I’ve had in a while. The spring rolls were amazing and the vegetable mei fun hit the spot and was pretty large. See you next week China City.

Their quality is variable on many staple dishes. I’m usually satisfied with the szechuan chicken. Not bad but there are better in the neighborhood.

This place is a little microcosm of our fair neighborhood. Drug deals, domestic violence, open public drinking and loud blasting music from walkers-​by are all a daily occurrence at this little nook on the corner of Arion. Though I imagine it might be a wee bit stressful for the nice Chinese folks who run the place. Stingy on the broccoli, their sesame tofu is an incredible, sticky, sexy sesame mess. Exactly what I want after a hard day of doing invisible work.
