All the salads are amazing! I especially love the tuna salad and curry chicken salad. So fresh so delicious!

Good café with enough space to actually sit down comfortably and have a bite to eat. Everything is under $ 10.00 so you won’t feel like you’re braking the bank or maybe you just need some quick breakfast. I ordered a cappuccino but it needed more foam. All that aside, the workers are extremely friendly & this place has a great atmosphere.

I just came back here and tried their«FORTE-E-FIELDBOWL». I was excited to try this since I had heard/had nothing like this before. Soba noodle, green bean, tomato, carrot, spinach, pickle cabbage, edamame, corn, shiitake mushroom, egg and marinated tofu(there are 3 choices«tofu, beef or chicken) in the hot Shiitake mushroom soy broth. Tastes like«east meets west»… just amazing… and so creative. I’ll try to make my soba noodle soup like this next time I cook soba. People work here are super friendly! I cannot wait to come back here.

I was working in the area and looking for a place to get breakfast. Glad I came here and not another bagel place. Best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Perfect combination. Eggs, avocado, tomato, cheese on a croissant. The coffee also very good. I will come back soon.

I stopped by Café Forte to meet with a potential vendor for my wedding. I was super early and had to wait for my fiancé and the vendor, so I decided to get a Cappuccino and it was the tastiest Capp ever! The place was very homey, they serve the cappuccino in a mug with their logo if you decide to stay. It was so comforting sitting there sipping on my drink. The place is laptop friend and also sell delicious food and seems like their desserts are really popular as well. I ended up trying their philly cheese steak panini and it was really good. I also asked for a San Pellegrino Aranciata but they didn’t have any and offered to give me the display with a cup of ice since they ran out. I thought it was extremely sweet for the offer. I really enjoyed my meal at this place. I would definitely go back if I lived closer. Unfortunately, I am on the other end of Brooklyn!

Food and service are unbelievable. Atmosphere is also great. One of my favorite Brooklyn spots. Try the grilled cheese or veggie burger!

Café Forte has good food, quiet for studying and friendly service. Totally makes up for the designated study tables! I’ll be back.

Stopped at this place by chance and I was very pleased with atmosphere and food! The owners/bartenders are very friendly and nice, they have good music playing, I was there on Thursday afternoon and there was plenty of seats. I had cappuccino and a muffin and my friend split pea soup and sandwich and everything was perfect. I’ll go back if I’m in the area again!!!

First let me say, if you are looking for a good meal or dessert, the food here is great. And the service and staff were very kind. I, on the other hand, was hoping for great coffee and a place to work before I ordered lunch, and both were difficult to come by. Half the tables are off-limits to laptops, and even during the week, I had to sit at a community table with like 10 other people right by the door. It was cramped, and not a comfortable workspace. No one was sharing the two-seat laptop tables, but we all had to share the big one. The coffee was so bad I didn’t drink what I ordered. I did stick it out and order lunch and wait for a table to open up. I ordered a chicken pesto panini and a chocolate chip cookie, and both were delicious. I would come here again for a meal, just not a workspace.

STUPID crowded on a Saturday. It’s a little over priced and they only allow laptops on certain tables which I understand, but it can be annoying when the only table available is a nonlaptop table and you are just trying to get some work done! But pretty decent food selection and consistent wifi, would be nice place to hang out when it’s not crowded.

Dropped in on Presidents’ Day(through the one functioning door) to be greeted by a nice guy who explained the very reasonable laptop and no-laptop tables policy. Scored a decent vanilla latte, a very good egg sandwich, and a solid special lox sandwich, enjoying the ambiance as we waited. egg sandwich + cheese + avocado $ 5

This is my favorite place to do work in the neighborhood. The food and coffee is great, and comes with a free refill. It’s much more affordable and less pretentious than other coffee shops/cafes around, with a better selection as well. While there are some designated non-laptop tables, there is plenty of space to work and plug in your computer, though you may have trouble finding a spot on weekend afternoons, when it gets crowded. I love the warm and pleasant atmosphere, late hours, and delicious breakfast sandwiches!

Incredible breakfast sandwiches! And excellent lattes, both hot and cold. The staff here are very friendly and the establishment itself is a wonderful haven for people who are looking for a place to work or hang out with a few friends. Many plugs are available. Half of the tables are reserved for people without laptops. And the baked goods are fantastic!

This is my favorite place to settle in for a while. Amazing food with bottomless coffee in a quiet but not library-like atmosphere. The Wifi is great and it’s an easy place to sit and do work for hours. Also, if you’re not into having laptops all around, they have designated tables where there are no laptops allowed. One of my favorite spots on my list of awesome Franklin Ave spots.

Great, low key, comfy place for delicious sandwiches and simple dishes. The prices are very reasonable. Everything is made fresh when you order. The staff is very nice. We’ve always come in with our enormous stroller and have never had an issue. All in all, it’s a Very comfortable place to sit back and chill or work on computer. Just check your take out orders before you leave. A big plus is that they do special orders(menu is not set in stone).

Cute café. Great for working on your laptop while you nibble on their delicious sandwiches or fresh pastries. Warm and cozy, even on a hot summer day. Small tables for 2 and bigger communal tables to share– so being social is a must. Had the croissant egg white American and avocado = yUMmy!

I ordered the pesto chicken panini on multigrain bread. It was very filling and delicious, but it didn’t pack that much pesto flavor. The empanadas were also really good, especially the chicken one. Unfortunately, I think they warm them up by putting them in a microwave instead of in a toaster oven, which defeats the purpose of a crispy empanada crust. The friendly cashier, who wore a Superman-type cape(awwww), kind of reached over another patron, whose body language showed that she was taken aback, as he gave me my food. I appreciate that they have two big tables to do laptop work on, which comfortably seats 12 in total. And there’s another side table with seating for 2 to do work at. All other tables have signs saying people can’t work at those tables. I understand this, but they probably lose business at times because of this rule, especially when it’s slow and people want to work on a laptop but all of the laptop seats are taken.
