I enjoy a good burger now and then. I’d seen Burger 139 across the street from my favorite tattoo studio, so I thought I’d give ‘em a shot. The two mushroom n’ cheese burgers I ordered were six bucks. See, that wouldn’t have been bad if the burgers were massive. There wouldn’t have been a problem if the guy behind the counter had packed… both my burgers. I like to think the best of people, so I didn’t bother to look in the bag before I tore out with my hot bag of burger under my arm for a long, cold walk trip home. Imagine my surprise when I opened the bag to find… one little burger sitting there. Come on! I was the only customer in the place! I paid for two little burgers! It’s not that hard. Please, get help.

I just ate a $ 12 burger from this joint. The burgers are listed as $ 6. My partner in crime ordered two, but they only gave us one. And the food sucked. Cheap, wilted buns, charred burger with no flavor and canned mushrooms. That’s okay for someone who wants McDonald’s prices, but I’d feel ripped off even if these guys hadn’t shorted us on our order. Waste of space.

Absolutely disgusting!!! I could have made a better chicken sandwich myself by buying the goods at C-Town. The patty was a cheap frozen processed flat pancake of fake chicken meat… and the bun was not much better. The fries are the same thing, cheap Costco frozen crap. Save your money and go to buffalo cantina if you want fast food.

«Fast» delivery of 45 minutes and«free» surly attitude of the delivery personnel! Order it your way, but they deliver it their way(incorrect orders and left-out items)! No food poisoning here(burgers were almost crunchy)! Steak-cut(frozen and not cooked through) fries! Totally fresh(from the can via Sysco) toppings! Honestly, even the ketchup was almost inedible. Please save yourself the time-warp and just go straight to Micky-D’s, or Dumont Burger, for that matter.

I only have one complaint and it’s not a big enough deal to subtract a star. Their soda is always flat, but that’s okay because you shouldn’t be drinking soda anyway. The Hawaiian Punch is yummy and at least they added some vitamin c to the sugar syrup, red dye and high fructose corn syrup, right? Now to the important things… The food is fantastic. Much better than your typical fast food joint. The fries are really yummy; they’re like McDonalds’ without the weird after taste and flavanoids. The ranch blt grilled chicken sandwich is fantastic… I usually avoid eating meat because if I get a fatty bit I can’t eat any more. The only reason I didn’t finish my sandwich was because I was full(and my boyfriend finished it after big burger… it was that good). The hot dogs are thin, but tasty and they char them just a little so they taste grilled. They serve breakfast all day and I’m not sure how you could screw up an egg and cheese, but rest assured theirs is very tasty. I don’t eat red meat(not really for health reasons as I do eat bacon occasionally), but my boyfriend loves their big burger(which is 2 patties) because«it tastes like a big mac, but better… not slimy.» Next time I’ll try the felafel. The guys that work there are all really nice and they keep the place pretty clean. The typos on the menu board are charming and they have enough options that there’s something for everyone. They even have vegetarian burgers and chicken(although if you’re hardcore you should ask if they use a separate stove).
