Bona II Pizza

2 hours for delivery. Barely wet out. Not worth it. I get that rainy nights can be busy for pizza delivery but they had said the pizza was on its way and it wasn’t. If your pizza is this late it should be free.

Probably won’t come here again, for some reason I pictured the place being much bigger, it’s small. Walked pasted it the first time. Inexpensive that’s good. My broccoli roll was disappointing, broccoli was still cold and still a little frozen, way too much cheese too little broccoli. Fries were even more Sade, very then and moist like they had been microwaved. I didn’t even eat half of my food. It also took forever to make smh

The cheese pizza is good and you can get a big one for a decent price too! The only thing that’s lacking is I ordered garlic knots and they were somewhat burnt.
Delivery time was pretty fast!

Awesome spot. The pizza here is better than the average slice joint in the city, and is by far the best in this neighborhood. It is very saucy. Their lunch special is 2 slices and a soda for $ 4. If you add toppings, they are very reasonably priced.
The meatball parm sub is delicious, something about the peppers in there make it perfect. The baked ziti is a huge portion, and is alright/​good. The calzones are huge and good, but you have to request a lot of extra marinara sauce for dipping.
The two guys who run the place are insanely nice. Tip them well!

Love the pizza with extra cheese and my can soda !!! Plus now, Italian iceeee !!!

Great pizza for cheap but be prepared to WAIT for delivery. Like, more than an hour. This is one of the best delivery options for me and they do stay open and deliver well after the time it says that they close on Unilocal so I like that. Again, just be prepared to wait and then to also receive a pizza that may not be piping hot. Wings are good. Garlic knots are good. Oh, and don’t order the mozz stix.

I am giving a review of a star based on the fantastic pizza and the horrific treatment from the delivery person.
I work and attend the Pratt institute, at 200 Willoughby avenue. The campus is 25 acres or about four square blocks, which contains a main security booth and a collection of clearly marked buildings.
While working a double I decided to treat to some pizza and coke. Saw the deal and sounded great for the price. In the additional notes, I promptly asked that the delivery person come to a specific building and that security would assist them if they were not familiar.
Because I was at work, and paying for delivery I believed that I was more than fair in asking that the order be brought to the building. The delivery person was on time but was unacceptably rude.
Over the phone he said he was «here» and I asked where specifically. He stated the address and then referred to the campus main gate. I asked if he read the notes and that he please come to the building referenced. He started yelling into the phone that he does not know where the building is. I asked then: «if he had asked for directions from the main security booth.» He became very frustrated, and continued to yell exclaiming that he couldn’t «understand» the directions. Before I could respond he yells: «fucking lazy prick, I will be at the main gate.» I was speechless, but it didn’t matter, he hung up.
I hadn’t eaten all day, and it was around 4 so I decided that despite the AWEFULL treatment, I would retrieve my food. When I walked up the delivery guy was seated, smoking a cigarette and chatting up another delivery person. I retrieved my food and we exchanged no words. He sped off and I asked security: did that delivery man ever ask for additional directions?” The guard confirmed that he had not asked anything of security.
I went back to work and ate my food, the pizza was fantastic for the price, but I had been given Pepsi when I specified coke. The food was hot and good, but the delivery man was lazy and inappropriate. I will never order takeout from this establishment again, you have lost my business and kept an arrogant self righteous delivery person.

We always pick up the pizza at the store so I can’t say anything to the delivery quality. The pizza itself is great. It’s not the best New York slice you’ve ever had, but it is quite good. The ingredients look and taste fresh. The staff is incredibly nice and seem to care about what they’re making. It’s especially good pizza for the price.

This place serves very average pizza and I would recommend finding any alternative you possible can.

The food was pretty good, but I have two complaints. The top of my container my food was in was broken and I had pieces of plastic stuck in my food. Also, I received only 3 garlic knots for a purchase of TWO pasta dishes.

Ordered the ziti and Caesar salad and yummmmmm!!! It was so good!!! def ordering here again!

Ordered pizza and it’s one of the best I’ve had. Perfect toppings and amazing taste. Service was great and very friendly employees working there. Great prices for great food. Overall, I’m very happy with this experience and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, lasagna and the garlic knots. For $ 21 (with tax) we got a lot of food. Delivery was with I the quoted time and friendly. I had the lasagna and it was delicious. The garlic knots Mir have been the best part. The spaghetti that my husband had was good as well. It was a little spicy for me but he loved it. Over all very satisfied.

My pizza came on time. But arrived stone cold. I was in shock. I grabbed the delivery guy before he hopped into the van and told him it was cold and I wanted a new pizza. I ripped a part of the crush off so I would know whether I got a new pizza or if they just popped it in the oven. If I wanted it put in the oven, I would do it at home. But I’m not spending money to do that when I just paid for a take out pizza. Am I wrong ?
Got the new pizza and I startled kicking myself; I should have checked it at the door! Same pizza, just reheated BARELY! Luke warm, at best. I called to complain and he claimed he had the same pizza in front of him. I told him my pizza crust trick and he continued to claim he made me a new one. Bad attitude and no customer service. If he would have admitted it, I would have been more understand. I told him I won’t be ordering from this place again.
So if you want cold pizza where the management lies to you, order here.
Shame shame on this establishment.

OK, I was unhappy before the order arrived because it took an hour and 40 minutes for our food to be delivered.
When the order got here our drinks were missing.
The food was cold (not just warm, but cold).
Then the ultimate horror was opening the pizza box to watch a cockroach crawl out! We don’t (didn’t) have a single bug in our apartment before we opened that box. Luckily we haven’t see another one since then, but that was a very disgusting moment.
I think eating this food is gambling with your health.

Good pizza. Bad delivery.
What more can I say. I wish it didn’t take in excess of one hour to receive my food (after they indicated 25 minutes). To be clear: The hour came after the Grubhub text went out saying «Aw yeah, your food is on the way!», the name of the delivery guy is provided, and you start to set the table. But the delivery was way late and Grubhub followed up. A new target time was given and missed. You know it is bad when the delivery guy takes the pizza pie box out of the insulated packing and the box is cold. That’s when I kicked myself for providing a solid tip prior to receiving the food, when I placed my order. I like the think that it might provide the proper incentive to deliver great service. Not so!
But after warming up my pie in the oven, the pizza was really tasty. My recommendation is to pick it up yourself. I imagine they do a great job with all of their dishes. Unfortunately, the fulfillment side of their operation detracts from what they offer.
