The only reason they earned a star. was because the styles they created were indeed gorgeous. However… they do not take the time to properly sterlize their hair tools. and your child will end up with ring worms and hair loss. So it’s not worth it all all. Do not trust this business with your little ones scalp

This salon is horrible. They will have you sitting there all day and calling people while you sit and wait. Had my child in there sitting for six hours. I would never go back to this salon, it’s very unprofessional.

I was on a hunt for a kids stylist to cater to my daughter needs. i used Google and realize it was near by so I gave it a try. They ppen at 12 and I made a appointment at 1230 (they call u when your spot is up close) and had a whole bunch of people of ahead of me. I decided to call them instead by 330 and they suggested i come in. My daughter didn’t get her hair done til 530. This would of been a 5 star if I didn’t have to wait 2hrs after they told me to come in. BUT SHEESH IT WAS 2HRS WORTH THE WAIT. My daughter lovesssssss her hair. They have very reasonable prices and they wash n condition hair. Everyone is very attentive, dressed in all black, answers any questions or concern and speaks with manners. Yassssss bliss you will be seeing me soon. I would definitely recommend to friends

I am so happy I found a kids salon for my three daughters and it is close to home! I usually go to Destiny Kids on Nostrand Avenue but they are moving to another location so I found Bliss and it was just as good! I appreciated the call when they were almost ready for my daughter’s hair instead of just sitting in the salon waiting. Great kids salon!

I love this place. I have been here twice with my daughter and have been very satisfied with the service and their work. They are very good with keeping their schedule. I called at 12:30p to have my daughter added to the list and to her we would arrive between 5:30 and 6p. When we arrived she took her right away. Her hair was washed and braided and we left about 8:15p. They ladies are very fast and they do awesome work. The prices are also very reasonable. I would suggest that you call or arrive very early to have your child’s name added to the list because they can get very crowded. Overall I am overly pleased with this place and I will visit often.

I called at 12p and was greeted nicely over the phone. I let them know I was coming at 5 pm which is right after my daughter got out of school.
Soon as I got In I seen at least 6 kids waiting and I was greeted and checked in at the front desk. The stylist was finishing up a child’s hair and I was called next.
I’m glad they were so prompt with the list. At their competitors salon «Childs Play» I have been treated rudely and the girls talk about the parents when there not there and they look annoyed with kids who don’t always cooperate making the child’s experience even worst in my opinion.
My daughter was treated with care and they tried really hard to not get water on her face because she’s afraid. They spoke softly to her and were very patient. They braid really fast and very neat I loved my experience here and will be coming often.

Great job good price and great environment for kids. My little one shed a few tears mostly because hungry, she didn’t complain much about pulling, and her hairdresser have a hug afterwards and she felt better. Kids shows on the tv keep them entertained.

I was looking for another salon for my daughters because the last was very unprofessional (terrible with timing) and not as kid friendly as I would like. So, I went to Unilocal and found Bliss Kids.
My youngest is really tender headed and always cries when getting her hair done. I must say that she didn’t cry at all in Bliss Kids. They are really child friendly. I like the atmosphere — very clean and well put together.
The business does not go by appointment, which is understandable when dealing with kids as all situations are different — difficult kids, braided dos that take longer than others, I get it. You have to write your kids name down when you get in or you can call ahead to add your name to the list if you’re coming in later. The staff works pretty fast and the price is reasonable. Can’t beat that at all!
I like Bliss Kids for my daughters. ^_^

The entire atmosphere is «Child friendly.» The staff are professional, welcoming and interact well with the children. The salon was clean and clearly being maintained well. The wait time was relevant and doable. I plan to return and serve as a loyal customer! Thank You Bliss staff for representing the establishement in a great and positive light :-)

The salon does not take appointments. Instead, customers sign into a book and leave their child’s name and parent’s telephone number. If the wait will be especially long, the salon allows you to leave and then calls you when they are ready to take your child. The system works sometimes, but has not worked well as of late since the opening times are variable, the staff takes sign-​ins by phone, and the staff sometimes loses track of the list (!). If you can handle the long waits during peak periods (since it is not an appointment-​based system), then this salon can work well for you.
