Bay Ridge Pizza

Awesome Italian food. Chicken Parm entrée is excellent. Rice balls, lasagna, baked ziti, eggplant is all good. I love to cater from them during the holidays. They never disappoint. If you are ordering dinner and delivery to eat in at home, give yourself at least an hour.

I would skip Bay Ridge Pizza. Unfriendly and nearly intimidating vibe from the guys at the place.
Very rude and discourteous, especially on the phone.
Gave a call to Vesuvio’s, late night pizza couldn’t get better. The friendly man who took my order was pleasant on the phone, and the pizza was pretty damn good.

I ordered a personal pizza couple nights ago. Came on time, but the delivery guy basically assaulted me. He rang my door so I went and was buzzing him in but he wasn’t coming up, so I ran and got my coat and ran downstairs to get the pizza at the apartment door. As soon as I open the door the first thing he says to me is «are you on fucking drugs?» Uh what? I’m a clean well dressed guy I like to think, I was even still in my suit from work. He continued to stand there with his hand over the pizza box flap, and wouldn’t give me my pizza. He just stood there refusing to give me my pizza while arguing with me about not letting him in. He was waiting for me for all of 2 minutes. Finally he releases his hostage; my pizza, and walks to his car while still yelling and arguing with me before he eventually left.
Absolutely hands down, the worst experience I have ever had with a delivery place. I was ordering from here sometimes up to 2 times a week, but I won’t be giving them my business again. I recommend you do the same unless you like having a delivery guy assault you and hold your food hostage.

I had the worst experience EVER with a delivery guy from here. He was soooo rude! Courteous delivery people are a big thing for me when I order in. And btw, the chicken parmigiana with ziti wasn’t great either. The ziti was ok but the chicken was gross & obviously not fresh.
They definitely lost me as a customer!

0 stars ordered a small pie after an hour and half I called they said its out after 2 hours called again said they will call driver then call me back 20 minutes later no call I called them back and canceled the order. Shouldn’t take 3 hours for 1 plain pie.

Uhm. So I’m not a fan BUT I will say that I did go at like midnight so maybe I ate N old slice. Nothing was fresh, it seemed as though I got the «bottom of the barrel» but even if that was the cAse, the overall taste of the pizza was just bland. The garlic knots however are not bad.
Also they do have great customer service. I’m still not too sure if I would go back tho. Sorry.

Didn’t even get to try the food because the attitude over the phone did it for me. My brother has been in here and recommended for pasta. Their online menu has a half tray of penne ala vodka listed for $ 40 and when I asked the female on the phone how much it would be to add chicken she handed the phone to a male. He was a little obnoxious from the get-​go and said with chicken it’ll be $ 65. I said «$ 25 more to add chicken?» He said no $ 20 because it’s $ 45 without. I explained I just saw the menu online and it’s listed as $ 40 and so he says the prices may have changed but it is $ 45 now. I said it should be corrected and the quoted price should be honored and his reply was «this is what I see on the menu in front of me, I can send you this but I will still charge you the same price»…who speaks like this to clients? I hung up and called Peppinos which tasted amazing and gave me an even better deal!

This place gets one star because of the quick delivery. I can honestly say this was, by far, the most disgusting food I’ve ever ordered in my life. Got out of the hospital last night with a desperate craving for mozzarella sticks after not having had any food that day. They arrived overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside– the cheese wasn’t melted. One stick definitely had freezer burn on it. They were smushed to on inside of the container and full of oil. Like they weren’t drained at all. I got sick after eating them and had to retake my antibiotic. The red sauce was lackluster at best and the eggplant roll I ordered was dry and gross. I can honestly say I have zero intention of eating this food again.

Just not good pizza… sauce dough cheese…

I used Bay Ridge Pizzeria to cater an event. I ordered calamari, chicken parm, sausage and peppers, penne a la vodka, and something else but I forgot. The food was delicious! The calamari was really big so a few people almost choked on them but they survived. The order came with a handful of Italian bread which was sooooo good.
The ordering process was easy and pleasant. They delivered the food on time and it was nice and hot. Plus the food was afforable.
I would recommend without a doubt.

Great service, good italian food as well. Staff was very kind and accomodating.
Try the eggplant parmesan. Delicious!

Always a great experience when I either order delivery or pickup from here– pizza options are endless and the heroes are delicious.

What a great place to order heros from on Saturday afternoons. They also make a great pizza pieTey have a square hot wings pizza, pepperoni pizza. You will enjoy this place.

Oh god no. The mozz sticks were the worst thing I’ve ever tasted out of a fryer and I fried some weird stuff in college. I don’t think the oil in the fryer has been changed this year. Tasted like room temp string cheese was rolled around in burnt oil and bread crumbs.
The chicken parm was solid. I won’t be returning here ever again but if you are forced here know that the chicken parm is okay and won’t leave you in a bad mood.
I’m deeply saddened by my mozz stick experience. When I make the choice to eat «unhealthy,» as some overachievers call it, I expect great flavor and joy to come with my «poor» decision.

My first taste of New York pizza and it was amazing. Their Sicilian pizza was so good. Price is also so reasonable.

Again the or gluten free pizza rocks my wprld! When you can’t eat certain foods, especially pizza? WOW

Been eating here for 20 years and they really haven’t changed much which is a good thing in my opinion, very good tasty pizza, their chicken rolls are fantastic, very friendly service, can’t go wrong with this place, as long as I live close enough for delivery they will be my go to pizzeria.

Don’t come to Bay Ridge Pizza expecting this to represent the best of the neighborhood. Despite it’s name it is far from the best pizza in the area. This is the type of pizza that if the pizzeria were in Albany you might say, ‘This is pretty good pizza… for Albany.”
I would also highly recommend against getting this pizza delivered. It’s one thing if you are in a rush and stop in for a couple of quick slices, but delivery is going to run you over an hour and closer to two. It doesn’t matter what time of day either. They should rename the place to Wait Forever for Delivery Pizza. As a wise man once said, ‘Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.‘
There are plenty of better options in the area. Find something else.

I LOVE the food. What I don’t like is the attitude of the phone people, the lies on delivery time and the surly and nasty mouthed delivery people. THEY don’t understand customer service or how to use things like Grub Hub.
Other than that, if you want to eat the food. That I… I recommend .
Don’t order… go.
Be prepared to wait there too… in a drafty room with a lot of noise served by people that forget you are sitting there…
Yeah…I guess I am done with this place. Too bad. Was a regular for over 5 years.

I came here to grab a quick bite for dinner. The staff here are very friendly and great.
I got myself a bottle of coke and a chicken parm sandwich. The chicken parm was tasty. Usually I think there is nothing special about a chicken parm sandwich, but this was definitely one of the better chicken parm sandwiches I’ve had. Just the right amount of sauce, chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the bread was soft.
Usually at most pizzerias, you pay before you get your food, but the staff told me to have a seat, they bought my food to me, and told me to pay after I enjoy my meal. Really appreciated that. Thanks!!! I definitely enjoyed my meal.
