I thought I would give this place a try because it was closer to where I happened to be. I got an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. The bagel was pretty good, but not as good as my usual bagel place; the texture was a bit off. The scallion cream cheese was good and they also gave a good amount of it. Service was quick and prices are reasonable. Bagel Villa is a solid option for bagels and I wouldn’t mind coming back for one and trying other cream cheese flavors!

I had a bagel with cream cheese it was very filling the bagels are big I had mine toasted And for 1.75 you can’t beat the price. It’s very simplistic.

Great bagels! They just have that great texture you want in a delicious bagel. Get a nice everything bagel with cream cheese and coffee, the best! Buy a dozen and get one free.

Ive had better. Bacon egg sandwich on a bagel was greasy and bagel wasnt anything special. Friendly staff which was nice to see but the overall product was lackluster. May give it another try but too many good bagel shops in bk.

They have the best bagels and service! The store is always super clean and well kept. Their bagels and fillings are always fresh and I especially love their iced coffee!

The bagels are so good. The real deal – crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. My only complaint is I wish they put the toppings on both side. When I want an everything bagel, I want the everything in every bite.

Bagel Villa is the best bagel store around, hands down. Very friendly service, very clean. Joe and his family are very welcoming. Keep it up.

Best bagels in Bay Ridge, fresh and tasty fillings with fast and friendly service. If you want bagels, this is as good as it gets.

Service was really friendly/respectful on each of my visits to Bagel Villa(If we’re being honest, I would really love to live in a villa made of bagels). I bought four bagels with different combinations of toppings, coffees, and juice on my last trip, and it came to about $ 16. That is an excellent breakfast bargain when the bagels are big and solid.

I’ve only had variants on the bagel there-toasted, as a sandwich, with cream cheese, etc. It serves me well in that capacity :) Very good bagel selection, always fresh, fast/efficient service, relatively inexpensive. What more do you want from a bagel shop?

Good, consistent and fast. The woman behind the counter in the mornings is always very friendly and quick. I’m usually hesitant to order iced coffee from small shops like this because it tends to be old or weak, but their iced coffee is pretty good.

The people behind the counter are inconsistent with the service they provide and the breakfast sandwiches they dish out leaves much to be desired as well. During this visit, we decided to split a bacon egg and cheese with a friend and my half had one strip of bacon! LOL! Quit being so cheap and maybe you’ll earn more repeat customers like myself. :-) I don’t really believe in ripping places apart(1 star reviews) as much as giving them another shot at winning my business over especially for neighborhood establishments. Until then, 2 stars for now…

First things first, I want everyone to know that I’ve never experienced such horrible service that it drove me to write a review. This place is right down the block from me . I do not cook regularly so I rely on neighborhood places such as Bagel Villa to fill my tummy up. Now, I am not exaggerating that between my husband and I, We probably order whether its take out or delivery from here on average 7 – 10 times a week. Sometimes, twice in one day. Now one morning a few weeks ago, I ordered a meal. I cannot recall which one but it was decent. It was around 7 a. m when I ordered it and everything went smooth. I then ordered again around 1 p.m. However I ordered for 7 dollars instead of their $ 10 minimum. Again, I live right up the block and I’ve already ordered 6 hours earlier. Now the woman who owns this place is the one that took my order but I could already tell by the way she sounded on the phone shes wasn’t happy that I had ordered below the minimum but was willing to deliver to me anyway. Sounds great right? *** 25 – 30 minutes later*** My order came. awfully late for walking right down the block right? But I didn’t complain I was happy to eat. My order was a Bacon and eggs on a bagel with whatever else and orange juice. So I unwrap my sandwich just to find that whoever made my order did NOT include the eggs. –____– I am SO serious. The eggs which is an essential part of my sandwich is no where to be found. Now, I figured this was an honest mistake so I chuckled it off and called back. A worker other than the owner answered and was shocked but apologized said he was sending me another sandwich(which is an obvious must) and we laughed it off and I thanked him stating its okay that I didn’t mind the incident. Now 15 min later I get my delivery and I am being charged for the meal. I told the man how am I being charged for their mistake. He said«Well mam there are two sandwiches here.» Well, I did not order two sandwiches, all I wanted was for my One to be corrected. So I took my free sandwich and apologized to the man stating that I couldn’t take the other one because I did not order it . Here’s where it gets good. I call the owner back because I honestly felt bad that they had to waste food for yet another sandwich. The woman had the most disgusting attitude ever!!! And said she would have never sent me another sandwich if she didn’t think that I had ordered another one. She would’ve simply just sent me the eggs that I was missing(saying this in the most condescending voice then hangs up). Am I the only one that sees this as MESSED up? So it would take her 15 min to send me eggs while the bacon and bagel gets cold and now I would have to then place the eggs on the now cold bagel and bacon my self? Wouldn’t it make sense to give a customer who orders so much a nice hot new sandwich? What suddenly made me feel like writing a review you ask? Because now it is 2 P. M in the afternoon and I am hungry and I refuse to give them my business and there isn’t much breakfast around here that I can order from that I enjoy. And I saw that they had Horrible Reviews on Google for the same exact thing at least 7 of them. Everyone saying how disrespectful these people are. So I no longer felt alone and decided to let everyone on Unilocal know that if you have another choice, do not give this woman your business. I honestly believe all these reviews below me are FAKE. And written by the people who work there or friends of the establishment’s workers. Go check out their GOOGLE Reviews

Great neighborhood bagel/breakfast joint in Bay Ridge. Quick service, friendly workers, and they make a really good bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel that isn’t too greasy. What’s not to love? Reasonably priced too.

For the shame-filled mornings I’m too lazy to walk to Bagel Boy, Bagel Villa will do. They play house music at 7am which is weird, but they’ve got some great bagels and the owner is very friendly. The coffee tastes cheap, but what did you expect?

When I brought these bagels into my office in Newark, everyone marveled and asked where they came from. They were a huge hit. My boyfriend and I come here practically every day sometimes for the bagel sandwiches. The staff is so friendly, and the bagels are great.

Not a big fan unfortunately, I have come here only because I had business close to Bagel Villa. I did not like the coffee nor the bagel. I asked for my bagel to be toasted and even toasted, it was extremely chewy and hard. Came here a couple of times and I have to say that I had enough. Maybe it’s just me, but their bagels did not impress me.

Stopped by here on my way to help my cousin paint her new living space. I liked the fact that I could be very specific with my order of a single egg white, one slice of american cheese and rye bread. I’m trying to be healthier with my food and it helps when places like this allow me to order EXACTLY what I want.

Was really hoping this bagel joint would be great, considering the reviews, and the fact that they’re one of the few bagel shops that got a great score from the Dept. of Health. I think the image I posted of the bagel I received speaks volumes. I asked for a bagel with extra cream cheese, and received a bagel that didn’t even have, what would be considered a normal amount of cream cheese. My fiancée ordered cheese fries, which consisted of one melted Kraft single in the middle of a plate of fries. Tasted pretty much as it sounds. Pretty disappointing. Probably won’t be returning.
