Delicious! Was craving a lox and cream cheese bagel. Delivery took about 40 mins? The whole wheat everything bagel was chewy and delicious. The vegetable cream cheese was plentiful and perfect with the lox. Though they did sort of burn the bagel on one my friend ordered. Each bagel was about $ 8. Perfect for lunch!

Simple food, uncomplicated and tasty. Prices are acceptable, too… and just ’cause they have the word«bagel» in their name, doesn’t mean you have to have one. Breakfast sandwich on a croissant was tasty, coffee was fine!

Consider these bagels to be the freshest ones around the area. I came on a Tuesday morning and it was packed but the staff was quick and efficient. I ordered a BEC on a whole wheat everything bagel and asked to substitute American cheese for mozzarella, thankfully they did without an extra charge. The place is clean and has a variety of bagels including French toast, blueberry and rainbow! Apart from bagels, they also have a wide variety of muffins, fat free muffins, cookies and different baked goods. Make sure you stop by and try something!

Solid bagels and muffins but just a headache to order from them. The muffins are moist and flavorful and I really enjoyed them. However, They do not seem like they have a good system to take orders and its always hectic in there. Its a little bit of a free for all. The product is good but once they fix the process it will be a 4 star place.

Been patronizing BB since 1998. They are reliable and have catered tons of my company’s breakfast events. It’s always busy so the bagels are always fresh. The condiments are good, as is the lox. They’re the standard for the area and good for Brooklyn.

Bagel Boy has been a staple of Bay Ridge since I and many others can remember. Although service is a bit on the gruff side, that’s to be expected in Brooklyn to keep the lines here moving. That being said they are efficient and crank out sandwiches and breakfast others with ruthless efficiency at an acceptable price point. I’ve had bagels with lox, scallion cream cheese, and their version of the rainbow bagel with birthday cake cream cheese. All are great. Definitely make this one of your breakfast spots before heading to work or for a quick lunch bite if you can’t decide where else to go. Also notable IS that they’re open late into the day compared to other bagel/breakfast only shops in the area which is a relief. The shop is of decent size setup for a relative to cafes however there’s no seating to be found, save for a bench outside. 4.8÷5.0

Bagel boy has been a staple in Brooklyn for years and with just one visit you’ll see why ! Everything from the bagels to the spread options and cold cuts are delicious, the coffee and tea iced or hot some frozen drinks options are more than any other bagel store I’ve ever been to. So you’ll definitely have something great to sip on while enjoying your bagel. The service is always prompt so the customer doesn’t wait too long thanks to their big staff . With multiple locations around brooklyn, no matter where you are theres probably a bagel boy location not too far away. Do yourself a favor and come enjoy a true Brooklyn bagel Ps. The pre-baked omelettes are very good

Always crazy and hectic at the Bagel Boy but that has to be because they are that good. Bagels are tasty and they have 10 or 12 flavors. I had turkey on a poppy seed bagel and it had a good amount of turkey that was moist and tasty. Friend had the chicken soup and was pleased. Another in our party ordered a BLT on a hard roll and was disappointed with the hard roll that it was served on. Commented that the hard roll was not very crusty, the bottom became soggy and they over did it with the bacon. My take away from that is stick to bagels and you won’t be disappointed. Four sandwiches, one soup and two sodas came to $ 36.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The bagels are freaking delicious! I’m not a fan of the coffee, I think it has a BBQ smoke taste to it and I’ve tried it at different times on different days. I would’ve given 5 stars if it weren’t for the coffee. I’d still return to this place because I just can’t get enough of the bagels. If you’re in the mood for tuna or a BLT, both are delicious as well!

A hidden gem! I tried this place when an event I attended was catered by them. A few months later I went to the shop and they specially made a custom bagel sandwich for me. service was friendly and food is delicious!

Got an everything bagel and cream cheese. Bagel was soft and chewy. Great quality. The everything topping did not all fall off the second I touched it. Coffee was decent. Very quick service even though the place was packed.

SOLIDBAGEL Joint in the hood. Wow. I really do like this place… Albeit hubby says bagels are too puffy and big but I think they’re great. .90 cents a bagel and they’re nice and big. Sometimes I’ll get a bagel with avocado comes out to $ 3.91 but it’s huge and they don’t skimp on the avocado. Also people in their are very friendly. Cream cheese is also good and fresh

Being a born and raised SoCal girl, I wasn’t blessed with daily fresh bagels as every native New Yorker has. My take on the best bagels were the packages of Sara Lee’s from my local grocery store LOL. So after being here in recent years, I’ve been addicted to fresh bagels– trying local delis here in Brooklyn and Manhattan and trust me, Bagel Boy is DEF the best in town! Totally tops Pick a Bagel in the city. Been to both locations– Avenue Z where you can actually sit down with friends and family(although it does get really crowded on the weekends – but hey it doesn’t take long to eat bagels and sandwiches so the seat turnover time is fast). The 3rd avenue location has no seating and it’s on a busy street, but like most say, if you can’t find parking– just quickly double park and go in. It’s quick to get your food even if there’s a line. They have the biggest selection of bagels, cream cheeses, and their heroes(the big blue) are delish too!

Probably my favorite bagel place in all of NYC. Wide array of choices, speedy service, and delicious food. Not much else needs to be said.

I don’t care what anyone says, Brooklyn bagels are the best. This is my go to bagel shop since forever. If you ever come around during the weekend, you’ll see a bunch of cars double parked outside waiting to pick up some bagels and coffee. As much as I love them, they do have their off days and there may be less cream cheese or whatever, but the bagel is always good. Quick and friendly service for the most part and the prices are reasonable. If you’ve never been, they are worth a try.

This place is awesome for a quick bite! It’s hard to find many places to get breakfast so early on a weekend in my neighborhood but Bagel Boy is definitely a great contender. The bagels are usually super fresh and they have all the trimmings and spreads you could want. They also have a huge selection of sandwiches and pastas for those looking for non-bagel items. Staff is friendly and ridiculously efficient despite the high volume of people churning through at breakfast hours.

Out of the three bagel shops I tried in New York, Bagel Boy was the best. Murrays in Greenwich Village was a close 2nd. Bagels in NY are supposed to be the benchmark for all others, and BB did not disappoint. I have had some pretty good ones in Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, and Orange County California, but BB tops them all. I tried the onion, poppy, and sesame, and they were all fresh baked with a perfect texture. They are made on site all day ensuring the ultimate freshness. Their lox were incredibly tender and flavorful as well. When in Brooklyn, this is your place for a great bagel breakfast. Since they are open 24 hours, also a great place to soak up the booze after a night on the town. They have another location in Brooklyn and one in Old Bridge NJ too. Damn, another reason I am going to miss Brooklyn!

Bagels are hands down the bed I have ever had!!! They are fresh and huge with delicious cream cheese! When I come to Bayridge it’s a must visit. They are open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday to cater to the drunken night time crowd. Lines can get long in the mornings. Be sure to find parking because the traffic agents do give tickets on the avenue. If you go for lunch get the Belly Buster sandwich !!!
