Great venue with a killer soundsystem. They get all the buzz bands to play through there and the scene is really hip. Drinks are good and the prices are par for the course. The Thai food is like what you find at the busy stands in Bangkok. Really good stuff. Try the chicken!

Baby’s all right is a typical Williamsburg bar and music venue, but with different vibe, a great kitchen and delicious cocktails. I went there with a friend. We both wanted to have a different evening, in a new place. The lineup of the night seemed fun, as well as their menu. We first seated at the restaurant, and we shared various appetizers, mostly vegetarian, really good. The fried Brussel sprouts are to die for. I almost wanted to lick the bowl they came in. We accompanied the food with two great cocktails. Afterwords we moved in the live music area. The space is nice, spacious, with an additional bar. Music was good, and the crowd was great. Not too fancy, and not too crazy eccentric. Only«bad» experience: at the end of the evening we kind of wanted to dance, because the DJ in the main hallway was putting great music, but none was dancing.

One of my favorite venues in the city. small well decorated space for shows, reasonable drink prices, and a revolving door of up and coming delights. Great dance parties, better rock shows, and pretty decent food up front. the only knock on it is the shitshow getting in. Not sure why the door is run so poorly, but it is.

My favorite music venue. I live in Manhattan but I’m willing to make the trip whenever they feature someone worth seeing, and I’ve also discovered a few new artists here. Food and drinks are awesome, far beyond any other venue. Yes it’s tiny and cramped, but most days I can deal with it. Except at hot chip when I was getting grinded on by some girl for the whole show and couldn’t breathe. But FORTHEMOSTPART not a big deal! Love you baby’s.

I went here to see a show and boy howdy did I have a good time! The music was poppin and crowd was cool, cooler than me. Regardless I was guided by master mixers Jason and Will to stand in center front for the maximum hearing experience. All 5 drum sets sounded great!

I came here for Sunday brunch and for $ 35 I got a delicious breakfast with bottomless mimosas! Now hats a deal. I devoured the Spicy eggs with Chorizo. It was cooked well and presented by a very sweet server. She was constantly checking on us. It was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was hipster-ish like and good music playing. From the presentation to the actual meal itself, everything was delicious. It was fresh, full of flavor, and worth it. I’m very excited in coming back when I visit NY again! Its definitely a must for Sunday brunch.

This review is just for the food side of things. Had brunch here earlier with some visiting family. There seemed to be 1 – 2 waiters and a runner/busser working the floor which led to some pretty crazy wait times — waited about 30 minutes for our food orders to be taken after being given drinks. That said, the waitstaff was incredibly friendly and did a killer job, considering. Received 2 drinks on the house for the wait, and the food was amazing! Giving 4 stars for the food and friendliness of our waitress and runner, but hope they staff up a bit more for Saturday brunch.

Honestly I’ve not had the best experience here. Came here twice. The staff is always a bit snotty/standoffish. I once had the door girl literally put her hand out in front of me to get my attention, instead of just speaking. No sitting room in the back room, so only go if you are really into the band and willing to stand/dance the night away… I guess they do well because there aren’t that many venues for live music this side of the bridge… I’d say: baby’s «aiiight», but really not that great.

Upon returning to this venue for the event I need to modify my previous review… this place was /is even more dreadful than earlierr experienced. Went for straight up R’n’R roots oriented band and upon entering was greeted /assaulted by horrible disco music. Mentioned to DJ the nature of the event and suggested a possible shift in the music choices and he said«We only play disco.». The band room was disturbing. Glaring and constant flashing lights were on the wall behind the band blinding and annoying the audience without any lights in front of the performers. The band played in the shadows. This club is all wrong!

Make sure to dress in layers so you can disrobe during the show. Baby’s gets HOT. It’s a consistent problem, but they have free ice water with lemon and some glasses on the side of the bar. The bouncer with dreaded hair is one the nicest bouncers I’ve ever encountered. Much love.

Worst venue ever!!! Hot as f$$$…as in unbearable No lights for the stage So you are seeing your band in the dark while trying not to pass out from heat. No thanks.

«Yeah BABY!» There is something about this place that I don’t get but I like it. It’s like 1 part club, 1 part lounge, 1 part restaurant and 1 part dive. Sometimes a person needs to do all four of those things in one night. The place has a very wonderful drink/cocktail menu and you have to try to grapefruit juice slushy beverage. The bartender even allowed me to add gin to the drink because I love gin. The clientele is really mixed and kind of out there, but out there in a good way. One annoyance is that the music is REALLY loud. It’s cool to have really loud music on a weekend night but on a Wednesday at 10/11pm. However, it is a little aggressive to have LOUD music(where you have to scream to have a conversation) when there are only all of 10 people in the establish. Speaking of the music, I really liked the music both times(a weekend and a weeknight) that I was at Baby’s. The Djs seems to cater the music to the crowd. .. or maybe Baby’s all right has specific types of music on the particular day. My second time, the Dj played a lot of 70s and 80s trip hop and house mix of many classics from that era, which just so happens to be my favorite era of music. If you come here be sure to bring a photo ID because bouncers definitely will check.

#Fakefoodbaby at #Baby’s All Right. #I like this place as a music venue and party place. The #brunch is pretty good too and they have a #Bottomless brunch with unlimited drinks for about $ 30. The #waitress let this baby get kinda drunk. But baby’s all right.

Really awesome food and an incredible happy hour with $ 3 Pink Babys, which is probably the best frozen drink of all time, and $ 1 tacos! The staff is awesome, the sound in the venue room is THEBEST and they book some really incredible shows! 5/5, always!

I forgot to review this place when I writing reviews for all the other bars we hit up the same night we went Baby’s All Right. Probably because this was bar 4 of 5, but who’s counting? There was a long line when we tried to go here earlier, but was much shorter later in the evening. The place is deceptively big. There’s three rooms, including an inside room with music and dancing that requires cover. We opted to stay in the outside rooms. It’s crowded, but not annoyingly so, and getting drinks was relatively painless. Fun place to people-watch as well.

Quinoa kale salad is on point! I only came here for happy hour with friends so we dug right in to the pork tacos, which were so delicious! ANDONLY $ 1 The mac and cheese had so much flavor… So good! Also, the ginger margarita was very refreshing on a hot night. Will have to come back & be a regular.

Decent bar/club with three areas. There’s the outside room that you walk into, the inside room where the bands play, and the side room which has a lot more seating and its own bar(and the bathroom). No cover to get in, but you have to pay to get into the inside room. Tons of people on the outside though. There’s always someone dancing. The bouncers were cool and joked around a lot(one of them threatened to not let me in because I liked hipster cigarettes). Bartenders are relatively quick for how many people they serve, and the music on the outside is something with a beat, but nothing you’d remember.

I want so badly to be able to write a glowing review for Baby’s All Right. The stage decorations are amazing(Every time I visit, I find myself wondering how they engineered those ash tray lights) and the restaurant areas are nicely designed. This venue is definitely a step up from D.I.Y spaces that book similar shows and it’s nice to have a solid space left in Williamsburg after the great Vice takeover. They book great bands from the local scene as well as a few bigger names and if I could rate this venue based on bookings and ambiance alone, they would get five stars. Factoring in the actual venue and service however, Baby’s All Right deserves three stars at the most. Every show I’ve attended has had terrible sound. There always seems to be one instrument that drowns out the rest and the bass is out of control, even during quieter sets. Last night, my boyfriend and I arrived at 5:45 for an early show(doors at 6:00, opening band on at 6:30), planning to grab some of the happy hour $ 1 tacos and $ 3 pink babys before the show. Given the early time, it wasn’t surprising that the place was fairly empty. When we tried to get a table, however, we stood around waiting for ten minutes before somebody told us to wait in the next room. After that, it was another ten minutes before somebody told us the server hadn’t arrived yet and to order at the bar. Usually, I would cut them some slack for being slow on service, but by then the place had been opened for an hour. The server arrived just as we were about to order at the bar and she seated us promptly, but then left again before taking our order. The rest of our meal continued this way, with the server disappearing for long stretches and our meal taking far too long to prepare. You would think that a concert venue would try to give a little faster service, given that most of the people would probably be trying to catch the show in the back. The food itself was pretty tasty, but the lack of detail on the menu left us wondering what exactly was in our tacos. The pastor seemed more like a shredded pork than a true pastor(still well flavored in its own right, but not al pastor by any stretch), but the sauces more than made up for it. They’re pretty tiny but still a good deal given the happy hour prices. I would never pay the full price for them though. The pink baby was great though — perfectly tart and sweet, like a delicious slushie.

I knew of/heard of this place as more of a concert venue than anything(had a friend who played here and thought it was a great venue/experience). So when it was suggested for post-concert drinks on a Friday night, I guess I expected more of a front room of a concert venue, Mercury Lounge/Knitting Factory kind of scenario. Instead, I walked into what felt like the worst raging cliché of Williamsburg as overpriced, rich, white, hipster-douchebag central. The DJ-ed music was way too loud to converse at all, and I can’t imagine it wasn’t audible to whatever concert was going on in the back. We got shoved around rudely by the entitled crowd, and our motley looking crew was not made to feel terribly welcome. Also, good luck trying to get the bartenders’ attention if you don’t send a willowy 6 ft+ model up to order. I’ll throw it 2 stars on the insistence of multiple friends that it’s a good venue to see a concert in the back room. And I can’t speak to the food, of course. But for drinks and hanging out, this is a strong stay away.

Visited Baby’s All Right today for brunch and a cmj show with my girlfriends. This is a spacious café /event space with two front rooms with bars meant for seated dining and a back room meant for shows. I got the french toast which was delicious but was missing candied pecans. It was a packed event and I shouldn’t have been eating them anyway, but a little notification about not having pecans would’ve been nice. The space itself is really comfy and the waitress, while frazzled by all of the going ons, was nice and tried her best to give us good service. The bathrooms downstairs was a little gunky, but besides these minor points we had a great time! Our total bill was something like $ 40 for all three of us and we had a lot of food. Even though there were live performances going on, since we sat in the side room it wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t hear what each other were saying. The other people who come here are all hip /cool brooklynites and you feel like you’re in a hip /happening spot. Lastly, I loved that even though the space was packed we weren’t being rushed out. We actually had to track down our waitress to let her know we were giving up our table! That was nice.
