Aroma A Mexico Taqueria

I order from here 3 or more times per week. The food is delicious, the service is quick and the prices are low.
Brooklyn burrito, super nachos and the FernAndo fries are my go to items but my friends (who are also hooked) love the tacos and super quesadilla too.
I want people to support this restaurant enough so it stays open but not so much that the prices or service change. Is that selfish?

There are many Mexican places in the area — so you have plenty to choose from. This one was a hit. Great flavors, good service at affordable prices.
If I’m back in the neighborhood I’ll certainly visit again.

The good stuff first: Great, friendly service. Clean bathroom and tables. Guacamole was good and tasted very fresh. They looked quite busy for takeout, but we were the only ones seated in the restaurant.
The bad stuff: the chips were stale tasting. I ordered at chimichanga which is usually seasoned chicken in a friend burrito. I have had many with rice inside. I was asked what kinds of beans I wanted. I assumed they would be on the side (hopefully with rice). No, it was in the chimichanga. I probably would have enjoyed it if not for the enchilada sauce. The description mentioned the sauce, i assumed again it would be a drizzle. Nope, covered. If I wanted enchiladas, I would have ordered them. All of the crsip was taken away from the chimichanga and therefore I will not return.

Really exceptional Mexican food at a great price. The refried beans alone are worth coming back for, and the tacos were super tasty as well.
That said the execution and presentation could use some work… This place is sllllow. The kitchen also plopped one of my tacos right on top of the aforementioned beans, which made for a nasty mess to wade through.
Other than those small gripes this is a wonderful restaurant and will probably be my go to for Mexican delivery moving forward.

Just discovered this place on grubhub. My lord. It’s truly amazing! I’m currently eating it right now and had to run here to leave a review. The rice and beans taste just like my grandpas (and that’s a really good compliment because he’s an AMAZING cook). Tacos are YUMMY! I love the salsa and guacamole. However, the fresh lemonade IS OUT OF THIS FREAKING WORLD. I cannot handle how good it tastes!!! Not too sweet, not too tart — it’s perfect.
I’m ordering from here again VERY soon!

Ok — now that I’ve been here a million times, let me tell you what to order. There are 3-​taco combos for like $ 5, great deal! Also barbacoa beef burrito — so so so delicious. Yes chips and guac (spicy, and sometimes they leave the pit in so it’ll stay fresh.) Yes watermelon water — I also like the tamarind. But my newest discovery is the fish tacos. To. Die. For. And I don’t even like fish tacos. My boyfriends family was visiting and they went here and RAVED about the fish tacos, a fish eating family. So I tried them and loved them too. Not to mention the sweet curb appeal they got goin’ on — fake deer, fake plants = kitschy eye candy ;)

Delicious food at a good price, huge portions and great service. Alsoba great place to watch the soccer game. They also do great takeout.

You can tell them in Spanish you want your order a certain way and they still just do it however they want. Decent but will probably not order from again.

Ordered delivery. Got the «Aroma Special Is Off The Hook» burrito — the dish held true to its name. My aluminum container contained a dent sized burrito swimming in cheese, salsa, and other meat which I don’t think was what was filled in the burrito. The whole thing was a delicious mess, although a tad oily not that it stopped me from eating everything in the container.
Horchata is tasty too. Real good delivery option in the area.

I have been trying to find a go-​to Mexican spot that delivers to Windsor Terrace, and this place may be it.
I ordered super nachos with black beans, a fish taco and a barbacoa taco. The fish taco was definitely the best. The barbacoa was also tasty.
The nachos have potential, but need a little work. You know when there is only cheese on one layer of chips? That was exacerbated by the cheese not being totally melted. The guac and pico on top were very tasty. I could have been ok with about half as many beans. Anyway, I think this spot is pretty new so I have high hopes for the future of the nachos!
Delivery was much faster than anticipated. I will definitely try other stuff on the menu!

Awesome new place in an unlikely location off 4 th avenue and 16 th street. I’ve been on the hunt for authentic Mexican food since moving from Austin and this place has it! Carnitas tacos were so flavorful and fresh. Loved how the fresh lime juice and cilantro came together to enhance the well marinated pork. Also their homemade chips and spicy salsa really hit the spot. Ambiance was nice and clean and the restaurant was large. The owner is a young Mexican woman who is very friendly.

Great food, guacamole and crispy tacos were great. Waitresses are pleasant and very courteous. Definitely my go to for Mexican food in Brooklyn. The best I’ve had

I live down the street and was really happy to see the place re-​open with a fresher look. I ordered take-​out and while the food did take longer than they said it would, everyone was very friendly. When I got home, I was glad I had waited. We had a steak, a burrito and two tacos; everything was delicious!

Never order from here. Food is terrible and they made a mistake on my order and refused to help me. Lady told me it was my problem that they sent me the wrong food!
I then ordered from here again as a chance to redeem itself (every place deserves a 2^nd chance) I ordered the guac and chips and they forgot to send me chips. I asked them if they could send it to me but they said no because it was too late and offered me nothing in return.
Seriously theres 100 better places in the slope you can order from.

First time I’ve bothered writing a review but this place deserves it. A lot of good choices for tacos in this neighborhood but this place is outstanding for its choice of burritos. Since our first time trying this a week ago, we’ve ordered 3 more times. The tacos are good, the fish especially as another reviewer noted. But the burritos are too good to pass up. Top of the list is the Diablo Shrimp Burrito. Although the name made me skeptical, the Brooklyn Burrito was also excellent. Slowly working my way through the entire menu but haven’t had a bad meal yet.

A great taqueria. Freshly fried tortilla chips and salsa. The tacos a very tasty. A unique take on fish tacos ie smaller fried pieces which is great, the shrimp taco was perfectly cooked, carnitas was good but not great, not crisped the way it should be and the chimichanga was out of site.
We had ours with Barbacoa and black beans.
Que Bueno.
No beer yet but you can bring it in.

This place is a block from home, it’s opened just 3 weeks ago and… Needs some support! I am glad to be the first to review.
I like shrimps quesadilla and I was curious about their «diablito» version. As expected… It’s spicy! A nice red sauce covers the 3 slices, so if you don’t like it spicy or you are not sure yet, try to ask to have in on a side…
Liked it ! Tonight, it will be even better because I will make it crunchy on a non stick pan to reheat it and cheese will melt and come out and become crispy… Yum.
On the menu it’s 9 $ but on the board outside the restaurant (and on the bill) it was 7.50 $ — Great
I am also a big fan of ribs and they have an appetizer version for 7 $ which they serve with rice and beans.
It’s a nice portion for an appetizer… 6 juicy ribs, almost a full lunch meal if you are not a bear.
3.5 stars for the ribs, 3 for the rice&beans.
The young Lady at the counter is very nice and friendly, oveall a nice experience so I will try it again.
Ps. I see on their menu many burritos, many tacos options… In general, they have a large choice. And prices look ok. Good Luck!
Pps. 3.5 would be my rating but because they need support (and there is still not the ½ star available) I am giving 4!
