If you are hungry, after the club or want a quick cheap breakfast come to arch! It isn’t the best and the ambiance is more than out dated. Servers are cool and attentive. Doesn’t get 5 stars because it just made the cut. But the mozzarella sticks will work at 5 am after a night of drinking.

Went there yesterday. First time! Last time! They don’t even deserve one star. I ordered a broiled filet of sole – which looked fried and tasted more like the sole of a shoe. The meal came with soup. I ordered the Manhattan clam chowder which was days old, blan, and the so-called few clams that I did get were rubbery as if they’d come out of a can. The bread at the table tasted like notebook paper. The mixed vegetables that came with the meal came out of a can and the baked potato was dry and shriveled up. The blue cheese salad dressing was watery and the lettuce and tomatoes were colorless and tasteless. I’m not one to complain or nitpick but I’ve NEVER had food this bad. The waitress tried to justifiy the bad food to me stating that a woman had eaten the filet of sole earlier and did not complain. The manager got angry when I brought my substandard meal to his attention stating that I knew what I was ordering. He only refunded me half the cost of the entrée and had an attitude in doing so. He never apologized or suggested something else. The one saving grace was my daughter’s burger and French fries – even though she ordered medium well, they gave her well done. The burger tasted dry, but at least it was eatable. Don’t spend your hard-earned money here. Spend it a restaurant that truly gives a damn about its patrons.

2.5 stars Me and the hubs wanted some hangover food bc we were washed up from the night before(NYE). We were also already in BK and had been to this diner a few times previously so we decided to stop in. I also really like the fact that they have a huge cocktail list here but today I was through with the alcohol. I didn’t even want to see a drink, water please! This visit the food wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either which sucked bc on our past visits we enjoyed our meals. I’m officially a pescatarian so I ordered the broiled salmon with fried eggs and an order of french toast, hubs had a chicken omlette with home fries. Hunny said his food was good, they did everything well done like he asked. The homefries were crispy but needed salt and the omlette with chicken and onions was just right. I had low expectations for my food, I can’t front and they were definitely met. My salmon was obviously frozen prior to them serving it to me which made it flavorless and dry. It was well done like I asked but I had to put mad salt on it just to eat it. My eggs and french toast were good but the homefries needed salt. The service was effecient.

Came here with a friend tonight. Frozen food with no flavor. Our waitress took nearly 20 minutes to bring us drinks after we ordered them. Oh and she added in her own gracious tip of 25%. I definitely will not be coming back. Diners like this are just collecting dust. This place should just shut down.

Finally getting around to a follow up. Went there late on a Saturday afternoon in April to grab a late lunch before shopping. Was seated near the back, wait staff was at the counter across from me. I was COMPLETELY ignored for almost twenty minutes. Four other people and a couple of Hasidic Jewish men were taken care of before ANYONE came to me. Finally a waiter who was actually getting ready to get off came to me and took my order. The Philly Cheesesteak was cold and it was actually roast beef instead. No seasoning, Onion Rings with cheese was cold and rubbery. The rings were completely over cooked. Then they were in a rush to get me out! Totally uncomfortable and pissed. Avoid this place.

This doesn’t even deserve 1 star, I wish there was something for 0 stars! The service was horrible, it took them 30 minutes to get our drinks. Our server constantly forgot about us, I do not recommend anyone to come to this diner ever!!! IMG_7580.JPG

Went out for Labor Day to IHOP but the wait was ridiculous so drove by this. Your better off getting a sandwich from the deli sums it up

This place is so bad. The waiters are really good and helpful, but the food itself sucks. I ordered a medium steak but it came out really bloody and raw and full of fat and really chewy. The drinks are okay. Not that great either. Honestly the best thing about this place was the starter salad. That’s about it. Mashed potato was okay too.

Don’t really hear good things about the arch diner but my experience was okay. Ordered two eggs scrambled with toast & homefries. With a mimosa to drink. Food was regular, nothing special and its a bit on the pricey side. Menu is extensive though, little bit of everything. would definitely return maybe on a late drunk night

Oh boy ! Decided to come here after a party with 6 people. Worst decision ever! Food was so bland + pricey. I ordered the bacon omelet which was very blah … Hubs ordered buffalo wings with French fries and let’s just say he didn’t even eat the wings. Two stars for the dope Hispanic waiters that was very attentive. Restrooms wasn’t the cleanest but still took a selfie lol !, .

I frequent the Arch Diner very often. I have been going there for twenty years. The food and service has always been terrific, and the prices are a bargain in today’s economy. The portions are always tremendous. I always get at least two meals out of each. The owners, Louie and Harry are always, very friendly and helpful. In fact, if you have any food allergies, they make sure that your order is prepared properly.

This is the diner that started it all. The reason why I’m drawn to diners where ever i go. I first stepped foot in here when I was about the most, 5 years old. Man I always loved coming here as a child. I remember ordering the deluxe burger… deluxe is was it was. It was always a challenge for me because I wanted so badly to finish the entire meal without having to take any home. Not that I didn’t want to enjoy it home but over the years it became a goal to me lol. It was so big and the fries were Texas cut and it came with lots of lettuce and tomatoes and a pickle with a plate of coleslaw and we had dessert after. As the years went on, i kept trying, getting there little by little. I think I was 8 when I finally reached my goal and I ate every bite including the pickle. my mom warned me about eating the pickle and other items saying I would get an upset stomach. Now to an 8 year old, «what do parents know? «Well a few steps later heading to the bus stop, my entire meal came out of my mouth faster than I could say«I did it! «later that night she told me she was glad I was determined but that I should take her advice next time and maybe it’s time to try something new lol She was right. After we moved away, we would sometimes take the drive out here to try it out again. I brought my boyfriend here(who I’m now married too) for an Easter lunch and it was just as I had remembered. The manager and waitress actually recognized me and our meal was plentiful and just felt right! We ordered the salmon and he always preferred a broiled seafood. our meal came with fresh bread to start us off, coleslaw and chickpeas. Our sides were a big portion and afterwards it came with dessert and coffee. We are sure to visit when we’re in NY next time. Love it here!

I went here tonight with my family after a really crazy night at the ER. We waited 15 min for the waiter to come to our table. Then the food was disgusting I had a french toast and it was yellow my mom had a brisket which was dry. Then when the bill comes there’s a gratuity of $ 8.00 which the server did nothing. Our bill came out to $ 65 and the service was just bad we will not be going back.

Place is always busy but turn tables very well. We had a party of six and food was out in no time. I had the Lover Omelette which I’d never heard of before and it was DELICIOUS! Though we went in the morning, I would imagine this would be th etop spot for that late night come down spot. They also serve cocktails.. ein!

Arch diner is fairly decent. I recently made a visit for some take out with a friend. It was late night so the place was kinda empty. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was overdone and the fries were tasteless. «E» for effort I guess. Overall if there is nothing else open for a quick late night meal, I would go to Arch.

Came here very early on New Years Eve’s with some friends after a baby gender revealing party. Parking was a little cramped and the parking lot in the back said not for arch diner customers but we found a spot and went on in. There is nothing fancy about the décor of the diner; however, the place is very clean. I ordered breakfast. Eggs, bacon, home fries, and wheat toast. Not bad at all but my friend ordered chicken wings and once I tasted one, I immediately wanted to cancel my breakfast and order some wings. They were deep fried, very well done and seasoned… on the small side… but very good. The service was ok. He wasn’t enthused, but it was 6 of us and we got everything we needed without a long wait. I will definitely revisit the Arch diner.

Arch Diner is not perfect. I will admit this, but the food has always been excellent. I have never had any problems with the service. I always come in and get seated right away, after I order… food usually comes out within 10 – 15 mins. I honestly dont care that the wait staff may have some clothing stains. I know it comes from working all day. I cut them some slack. The diner could use some updating… yes. The bathrooms need some work… yes. However the main purpose of me coming here is speedy service, and eating. Which even when busy there… I always get it. If you want the 4 seasons or bougie russian tea room… go there. Arch Diner is for blue collar ppl like me. **I have been coming here since I was a kid, and they are always faster than IHOP down the street, bigger portions too**

It’s not looking good so far… we’ve been here ten minutes and I had to call to the front and ask for a waiter. The bathrooms are disgustingly filthy! I mean I’ve seen cleaner bathrooms off the highway. My server made a come up and my panini with roasted peppers, provolone, and spinach was ok so now they get 2 stars. I guess it was not as bad as I originally thought. My Mom’s jerk pork chops were actually pretty flavorful. But as other reviewers said this place needs a serious upgrade. The booths have pieces falling off and the décor as a Whole is glaringly out of date.
