I was grateful the day I discovered Anchor! Tired sitting at work, bored out of my skull and if I didn’t get coffee the floor would become the bed. I search for coffee nearby and found Anchor I locked the door and walked a block and ordered a Double Shot Chai and a brown butter cookie. Both Great and now I’m AWAKE The only reason it wasn’t five stars was because, they had no vanilla syrup. I’m not asking for Carmel, Chocolate or anything else but, vanilla can spruce up anything. The nicest people + best coffee in the neighborhood. Come for donut Saturday where they get freshly fried donuts from Donut Plant(they even have the most ridiculously cute donut pins that they sport on Saturdays too!). They recently started serving breakfast sandwiches which are juuuuuuust the perfect size to satiate without making you want to take a nap. Just wish they opened up earlier during the week so I could get my fix before hopping on the train to work — make sure you bring cash or grab the CUPS app.

This is a wonderful little café. The coffee is excellent — the best in the area by far. Service is great, the staff remember my name and what I always order. The pastries very tasty, and the donuts on Saturday are a treat. It’s not the place you can camp out in all day with a laptop. But it is perfectly pleasant to read a book and have a coffee for an hour. The service is nice and fast — I often grab a coffee on the way to work. Make sure you grab a coffee card!

I’ve visit here 3 – 4 times a week. While there’s plenty of coffee to pick from in this neighborhood, people come for the workers mostly. It’s a small place. The owners learn your name and your order after a couple visits. They’re true friends of the neighborhood and the coffee is excellent. Check out the Donut Planet doughnuts here on Saturday morning

I’m so happy I stumbled into this lovely little café. I love Parlor coffee! The space is clean and has warm light and the latte is lovely. It is not the best latte that I’ve ever had but I would absolutely come back to this little gem.

Best coffee I tried in the area so far… They also sell really cool things. It’s a bit small but you have the outside as well. Recommended for coffee lovers!

It is not just the one minute proximity from my apartment that brings me to Anchor, it’s the great coffee and friendly service. Their baked goods are also pretty good. I have had the Raisin Roll, which is a sort of rolled croissant type thing with raisons, a couple of times. The Apple Turnover actually had apple in every bite, not giant chasms of air where fruit should have been. I have collected several of their loyalty cards and stamps, some of which I have redeemed to receive a fancy coffee drink that I would normally never order. But the main thing is the friendliness; I am always greeted with a good morning and smile, which goes very far.

Cute, little spot with some outdoor benches. Nifty little nook of DIY and kitschy gifts. Friendly staff. Cash only! Very disappointed with the execution of their coffee… which is from Parlor, an above average roaster. I’ve tried the cold brew a few times and it is terribly bitter and oily — hard to drink. Their hot drip coffee lacks a distinguished flavor. I’m just not impressed — maybe I had high expectations for the product. I’ll try it again in a few months!

Wow, loved it here. Ordered a delicious cappuccino and sat at the small wooden bar right by the register. It’s extremely tiny in there, but could still seat approximately 4 people. The barista was this wonderful woman who was dressed professionally and stylishly, which I thought really added to the style of the small establishment. Side note– they only take cash!

I love this café! The sweetest workers and great espresso, food is a bit pricey but overall, great for a quick fix.

Adorable little coffee shop with Japan meets Brooklyn vibe. It’s small, with just a few seats indoors and a couple of benches on the sidewalk — not really the kind of place where you would plunk down with a laptop for the day, more like an excellent spot to quietly catchup with a friend or enjoy a book. The coffee is excellent! If you want to branch out, try a matcha latte, and enjoy one of their excellent baked goods — including vegan peanut butter cookies which even non vegans will love. They also have a daily selection of sandwiches, a small fridge with cold drinks, and a small but very tasteful selection of gifts for all you airbnb’ers who want a souvenir of your stay.

This place has the best coffee in my neighborhood out of the four places in a mile that I’ve tried, but a tad more expensive. The lattes are creamy and carefully made. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, but small. They have reasonably priced and yummy baked goods. They also have a selection of quirky and cute gifts. The most inconvenient part for me is they’re cash only, but that might keep the crowds down, which is nice in BK, the land of long lines.

The coffee aroma lured me in from a jog this morning. I noticed they brew Parlor Coffee, a BK roasting company over in Ft. Greene. It’s definitely a cozy grab-n-go spot mostly, but glad to see it in the neighborhood.

«Ohaiyogozaimasu» This place is unusually friendly. They know the names of the locals and they will treat you with the upmost care and respect! They genuinely care about crafting the best cup of coffee for you. Also, their pastries are really good — I recommend the savory bread pudding. If I lived close by, I would be in here everyday, no doubt.

Anchor Coffee is an amazing gem in this neighborhood. The owners have paid meticulous attention to everything, from the logo design to the succulents on the windowsill to the beautiful wood detailing inside the shop. I was fortunate enough to witness the incredible customer service. I was enjoying my beautiful matcha latte with almond milk, and two girls walked in. They almost walked back out because one of them had forgotten her wallet, and the owner graciously begged her to stay and get whatever she wanted(since they were regulars). I was humbled and impressed to see customers treated as if they were close friends and family. Anchor Coffee embodies exactly what New York City needs to hold onto– community, independent business, thoughtful design, and quality of product. They use coffee beans from Parlor, and use some of the best quality matcha you can get in NYC. They don’t use any pre-sweetened powders, and the authenticity is apparent upon first taste. Despite the tiny space, the owners are sure to make you feel at home. It’s a lovely place to take a break from the fast pace of the city. Plus, guys, come on– homemade bread pudding!!! How perfect can you get?

Anchor coffee is a great small coffee shop in Bedstuy off Throop. Its a bit expensive however the blend of drip coffee that they have is amazing. A large is $ 3.25 but worth every penny. There isn’t much seating room so don’t expect to sit n sip.

Even you are not coffee drinker, you can still enjoy this spot. Their tea is from one of the best tea place in NY «Bellocq» and their Matcha latte is the best in town. Believe me I’m a Japanese and I grew up drinking Matcha. Of course their coffee is from one of the best roasting company«Parlor coffee». So you have no reason to avoid this place. They have non-dairy option with no extra charge. Great music and great vibe.
