This place was mentioned to us by a family member and we decided to use them to cater my grandmother’s funeral reception. Although, the food was good. The customer service was terrible and they were very unprofessional. It was definitely not a pleasurable experience, especially due to the occasion that it was for. I personally would not recommend this place to anyone, nor would I ever return there.

The staff is usually friendly, taking your orders with precision and care. My favorite is the griot(fried pork) served with rice and beans and a side order of fried plantains. Down that with an ice cold bottle of Kola Lacaye Haitian cola and you have yourself a very delicious and filling meal. The prices on the menu are moderate and the portions are enough for two or three. If you are into Haitian cuisine and you live in Canarsie this is the place to be. They would have gotten four stars but their delivery issues leave MUCH to be desired. They don’t deliver on Sundays. Delivery, as a matter of fact, is not guaranteed at all. You get the service if the delivery guy shows up to work(wth?). This hardly seems like a professional way to run an eating establishment with a LARGE following. When the food does come it is close to 2 hours later even if you’re within a ten block radius of the restaurant. The end result is sometimes a lukewarm dish.(still tasty but requiring 30 seconds in the microwave first). Also the friendliness on the phone decreases as they become more familiar with you which is the opposite of what is supposed to happen when you’ve gotten to know your clients. So they have some things to work on.
