This place is like Williamsburg’s very own mini Target… you go in for a can opener and come out planning a dinner party just because you can… with 300 cups, 200 plates, some appetizer fancy server thingys that force you to go on pinterest and figure out what to fill them with. You also come out with slightly imperfect socks and 20 bucks worth of scrapbooking material for that little girl in you who always wanted to start doing that.
I have a lot of stationary in my closet, lets just say…
and a whole lot of cups too.

I really truly hate this place.

Amazing Savings is so amazing! Except when it’s not.
It can be hit or miss. Since I live in the neighborhood it’s easy for me to scope it out weekly for the good deals. If it’s your first time there you will definitely not walk out empty handed. However, I have found that their inventory doesn’t change as often as one might think.

I love this store! It triggers my inner DIY queen. I always find all the craft and kitchen/​baking needs I need (and don’t need haha). And it’s a great place to put together last minute, creative and thoughtful gifts such as Mug sets, cards, Picture Frames, etc. And the prices are even better. Thankful to have this store near me!

I love this place, It always has cute unique things and place settings for any party and it gives you such great ideas for any party. One less star b/​c they don’t have any party decorations just a happy birthday sign. But I’ve been twice and I love it

I’m pretty sure all this stuff fell of a truck. The prices are to low, they are amazing, hence the name! I always mange to come in here for one thing, leave with ten! The kitchen gadgets are the best. Kitchen aid items for half the price. It’s a must visit, but be prepared to wait on line for a bit.

I come all the way from far rockaway to come to this place. Its a great place you will find everything in here and the prices are also a good deal as well. My mother in law who lives in the area is the one who told me about this place and i love it,

I’m such a fan of Amazing Savings! This gigantic corner store appears to specialize in party supplies (particularly weddings, baby showers, bar mitzvahs, etc.) but they also stock basic housewares, school supplies, hardware items and even some random clothing like socks and gloves. There is one «amazing» aisle full of arts and crafts stuff, but I can’t get more specific about the merchandise. (For fear that everyone will snatch up *my* dirt-​cheap deals!) In all seriousness, though, check it out. if you like finding random bargains, it’s worth a trip here even if you don’t live in the neighborhood. As others have mentioned, it’s closed on Friday night and Saturday, the Jewish sabbath. Just plan accordingly.

Great selections of no frills and random brand name items sold at discount such as Kitchenaid can opener and immersion blender. Some of these items might be old stock (not expired but style or model might be out-​of-​date) at regular retail store. Prices are not that cheap, but their selection makes up for that. Their inventory is much better than a «dollar» store and store is very organized and kept very clean. For the holidays, they can cater to the Jewish as well as Christmas/​Easter patron for your selection of décor and gifts. Heck, you don’t have to wait for holidays! I’ve been here to buy things for a bridal shower and it turned out perfect!

So you are throwing a party or having people over and you realize you don’t have an deviled egg holder, cupcake tower, flameless candles to create ambience, sea foam colored oblong tablecloth, or funny shaped pot that you can’t remember the name of… Head to Amazing Savings, they have it and at rock bottom price. The best way to decried Amazing Savings is a collection of random items that you need but don’t know it or once you see it is only $ 6.99 here as oppose to the $ 39.99 you may have seen it for in Macy’s. Whaaat?! Yes I need it. I love this store! Just be aware they close early on Friday and all day Saturday for Shabat. Oy Vey! I guess I will just schlep on over during the week!

You really do find Amazing Savings here! Great for housewares! Great for party supplies! Great for things you didn’t know you needed– heh. It does get a bit crowded, and be ready to have some lady run you over with her baby carriage. but if you’re patient enough to deal with this its worth it. Go here!

Great place for inexpensive kitchen/​cooking utensils and party stuff. They also have a nice selection of children’s books, toys, and school supplies and the prices are very reasonable. The check out line gets a little long around the holiday season, but it’s not outrageous.
