I love this place. Truthfully I first ordered from here on seamless 15 days ago, since then I’ve ordered it 5 times! The hummus is so fresh and delicious — best hummus in town. I also can’t get enough of the red lentil soup. They are generous with pita too. 4x they were so fast within 20 minutes … One time took almost an hour an a half but it was worth the wait! I felt obliged to leave this review as I’m enjoying my dinner right now! :) you cant beat The prices Either, FIVE stars from a happy customer

Ordered through seamless and food took the hr that was estimated. We order chicken combo and a lamb combo and a lamb dinner. Dinner was ok. Wish the meat was seasoned a little better. Shepherd salad was terrible. It tasted like cucumbers n tomatoes n that’s it. No vinegar no lemon juice no parsley. BUTTHEHUMMUS! It was absolutely divine

This is the best food I’ve tasted in my life. Will be ordering from here all the time from now on. Way to go!

PLEASE do yourself a favor and DONOTORDER from Abide. After being a regular for years, their service has gone way down hill over the past few months. The last straw today, when my food was never delivered. Stay away.

I and out, I get the falafel, can’t really mess that up. I like the fact they spread the humus inside the pita before loading it up with golden fried falafel, also with the fresh lettuce and tomatoes. The white sauce and the hot sauce is good as well. The owner/cook/cashier is a nice guy. Looks like he is overly busy, small joint. Good for quick lunch. Try it out if your in the park slope area, try to beat the hospital lunch rush.

I had a great lamb sandwich here, piled high with meat. I would have preferred more sauce, so if you like more, be sure to ask! But I was pleased with my sandwich, which made a great, quick, and reasonably priced, lunch.

Ordered food well before closing time. When it was about 10 minutes past the delivery time, we called to see if it was on its way. They assured us that everything was fine and the food was on its way. The food never arrived and the restaurant never returned our calls. Unreliable.

Really great Doner sandwich. They know how to make the pita just perfectly — the right amount of meat and different vegetables(cabbage, onions and salad). The meat is always fresh and the price is just about right($ 6.40 for a doner sandwich) Highly recommended.

Ordered delivery through Seamless and the food was an entire hour late. We called after it was half an hour late and were told they got really busy — ok, that’s fine, it happens. But then, when they finally showed up, the food was ice cold. Straight up inedible, hard, cold fries and lamb gyro. The paper bag was even cold… I get that it’s cold outside tonight but they had to have let it sit awhile in the restaurant and then driven to a bunch of other places first for it to get that cold. Also, I don’t understand why the gyro wrap was wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla… I’m used to a gyro wrap coming in the thicker pita and places don’t usually default to whole wheat. But that was the least of my worries since I couldn’t eat the food anyway. We don’t have a microwave either so it basically all had to go straight into the trash, which was super unfortunate. All around disappointing. Wouldn’t order from here again.

Really nice delivery guy. I ordered a decent amount of food for 3 people. It didn’t take long for the food to get there at all. I was really surprised considering it was a Saturday night. I didn’t try everything that I ordered, but what I did try was decent. Dolma — Really good. I never had it chilled(I guess this is the traditional way to serve it?) so I was surprised at first, but I did enjoy it. Lamb gyro — It was ok. I’ve had much better, but I did appreciate the generous portion. Rice pudding — Tasty, they actually gave it to us gratis to try. Once again, the portion was generous. This place didn’t wow me, but I would order delivery from them again when I’m having a late night mediterranean food craving and nothing else is open. The portions, price and taste were all enough for me to give them a 3 even though I have experienced better.

I order via grubhub and the food came before I expected which was nice. I got a lamb gyro and babaganoush. The gyro was much larger than expected but had zero tzatziki on it, it did come in a small side but wasn’t very good. The babaganoush was mediocre until I sAw a surprise! A dirty piece of GLASS, lucky me! I’m now waiting to see if I swallowed any AVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOSTS!

I don’t normally write reviews but I was so misled by the description of what I ordered that I felt the need to share. On the menu it says the grilled chicken gyro is marinated and flavored well and it comes with tomato, salad and spicy green peppers. After 30 minutes the chicken arrived completely COLD, bland, dry and there were no peppers. You could tell the chicken had been sitting out for awhile as it tasted rubbery and did not look at all appetizing. My fiancé ordered the lamb gyro and his too was cold, and again no peppers. Not to mention, the prices are not cheap. Save your money for somewhere elsw. I just moved to the area a few months ago and I will not be ordering from here again. I hope I can save you the disappointment.

Presentation of their food sucks, now the taste? It was good but nothing special… I had a chicken pita some Baba ghanouj with pita. I had their chocolate pudding, Omg it was delicious!!! My only issue was A. Not enough pita for that baba ghanouj and B the white sauce was so watery. C. Cheap ingredients. I mean seriously shaved carrots and purple cabbage? 1 piece of cucumber? No feta on my wrap? Do better. I swear I’ve yet to find a place in NYC that makes better Greek food than Arizona. Stop skimping out on the ingredients. Perhaps do some fries and pita combos or salad and pita combos Maybe a better variety on your food. There is more to Greek food than pita. Look up the menu at Pita Jungle in Glendale AZ My big fat Greek restaurant in Tempe AZ or The Greek Wraps in Peoria AZ you’ll see what I mean. The menus there are flawless. The presentation looks exactly like the photos and they are just as low priced as you. They have combos and are just delicious no skimp on sauce or ingredients. New York has slacked off on taste and presentation and i think it’s time. They’ve brought it back. P.s I am probably going to tell everyone not to eat here. I will try this place again in 6 months I hope it is up to par. Like the other reviewer. Seriously I almost broke up with my boyfriend over this. Also how dare you put a sticker on my food that says if I do not like the meal to keep it between us. Seriously? C’mon now. Be better. –Kim

The pro is that the food is decent(but nothing special as far as Mediterranean goes) and the prices reasonable for Park Slope($ 10.83 for lunch special). The negatives are that there are better Mediterranean restaurants in the immediate area, that the sauces are watered down as others have complained, and personally, they have gotten my order wrong multiple times. Just prior to writing this, I ordered the lamb gyro as advertised outside, and they gave me the lunch special which is several dollars more. Unprofessional? I think so. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The worst«meal» I’ve had in a long time and frankly would like a refund. Trust the reviews. Don’t eat here. «Most of the reviews are good.» No, don’t eat here. Delivery took an hour. The falafel was mealy and cold. Lumps of total crap. Inedible. The hummus came without pita. What am I going to do with a tub of hummus? The salad was in a pool of water. I am making it my mission in life to prevent people from eating here and I may breakup with my boyfriend over it.

I was amped when I saw the meat on spits, and the menu. I had a chicken shwarma in pita(one of three bread choices). The sandwich was disappointing. The toppings are chopped too big so every bite is a logistical challenge. The sauce is on top so the first few bites are just raw cabbage and sauce, then when you get to the bottom it’s dry chicken. I was so hungry I didn’t ask for more sauce, though I probably could have since I was eating there. I won’t go back.

Delivery took over an hour and a half! Food arrived cold and lacked any flavor. When I called the restaurant to ask when to expect the delivery, the man who answered was curt and nasty! I would not order from there again.

Just ordered delivery from here. Delivery was prompt but the food was so disappointing. We ordered the lamb gyro platter and the lamb and chicken doner combo. The meat was so bland and tough… really had no flavor. The sauces that accompanied the platters were oddly flavored and lacked any real seasoning. The hot sauce tasted like tomato sauce and the white sauce tasted like nothing! The pita that came with the meal was fresh so that was a plus. Overall a disappointing meal. Most likely won’t be ordering again.

Very often I come here to get a falafel or shawarma with lamb, for a takeout. I suppose these are the best options at this place, however there many other things to chose from which are also pretty decent. However I prefer these two the most. They are just great. Fresh, juicy(lamb), delicious and smells gorgeous. Another huge plus is that their hummus is really good, better than in may other places that I used to try it before. Very nice service, fast and polite. This place deserves nothing less than five stars.

Love this place. the price is good, and the food is better then all the other Turkish place that I’ve been going to. Love their gyros and the mixed girl. I’m a happy customer.

If you are in the mood for some hot spinning meats check this place out. Very little seating inside but it’s a great place to pop in for a quick delish bite. I got the chicken schwarma on pita which was under $ 7. I like a good portion and this did not disappoint. They got a repeat customer for sure.

Fresh veggies in their falafel platter! White sauce is minty and thin. Hummus is tasty and creamy. Great open space for people watching and getting a quick late night meal without feeling fat.

We order takeout from here all the time. They are always on time and they’re food is great. The lamb platter and falafel are two great choices! The food is very reasonably priced also! It’s most definitely become one of our regular spots.

1. They’re open late 2.I feel it was the healthiest lamb gyro I’ve ever had but I honestly would’ve preferred more seasoning for the meat 3.They gave us a complimentary rice pudding that is amazing! My fave part of the meal :)

I have never ordered delivery from here, so I can’t comment on that, but I have gotten off my lazy butt been several times and walked to the restaurant for some excellent grub! Every time I come here, I wonder why I don’t come more often. *The food is very reasonably priced. *The lamb shawarma is as good as you’ll find anywhere. *They stuff the pita with a generous amount of meat. *They have great seating for people watching. I ate at Red Mango yesterday and got a few bites of mediocre frozen yogurt for 8 dollars. For less money, I could have had delicious morsels of juicy lamb shawarma dancing in my belly. I’ll never make that mistake again. Bottom Line — Eat Here!

Abide is a disappointment, every single time. They offer late night deliver service in my area, I have ordered from them in the past and at one point they were ok but the last few times I have ordered from them the food has been very disappointing. They offer classic Mediterranean eats like gyro and cold salads like humus, unfortunately everything is always cold and flavorless. Their delivery service is convenient because they deliver past midnight, I just wish the food was good. I ordered a chicken gyro last night, the gyro is full of lettuce and tomato and just a little chicken, their chicken is made with fatty dark meat and taste undercooked. Their cold salads such as humus is flavorless no garlic or tahini flavor, nothing! I do not recommend.

Delivery took nearly 2 hours!!! Lamb had plenty of seasoning but far too much grease. The rice it came with couldn’t even soak up all the grease. Rice pudding tasted like cooked rice in cool whip. Funny thing was the food was hot when it showed up. Which means it took over an hour for it to leave their shop. RIDICULOUS!!! NEVEREVERAGAIN!!!

Delivery was slow. It took an hour for the food to arrive and when we called, we were mislead with the timing that ended up taking another 45 minutes to arrive. No order confirmation e-mail, whatsoever. In all of my Seamless experiences, I’ve always received an e-mail of acknowledgment. Ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab plate and while the jasmine rice and chicken kebabs were delicious, it was filled with salad on the bottom. In fact, every one of our plates had a lot of salad in them. I was more disappointed by how few pieces of chicken there were. I was looking forward to the Zucchini Pancake, but it was deep fried to the point where it tasted dry; vegan, but not so health-friendly. The garlic yogurt it comes with doesn’t taste like garlic and is rather very watery – it won’t do much for your food but make it moist. I guess you can use it as a salad dressing, but don’t expect a flavorful one. The pita bread was cold, which was unappetizing. To their credit, the food was fresh and hot upon arrival, but we were starving at that point. Prices aren’t so bad, but I don’t think I’ll order from them again.
