Village Fare Pizza

I routinely order their 4 cheese pizza. It’s fantastic. I usually have it delivered and it takes about an hour, but the pizza is worth it.

Reviewing for what I wanted– delivery of a greasy cheesesteak sub. Wow, maybe because I ordered early but it was good tasty and greasy in a way I can’t find at all around here. Fried chicken was very hot and crispy. I think it’s all about whether this food is hot, kind of like mcds. It arrived very hot.

Village Pizza looks and has a menu just like you would expect. Classic subs, sandwiches, pizza, salads, etc. The stand out dish so far for me has been their Buffalo Chicken Calzone. I have searched far and wide in the Boston area for one this good, and I finally found this gem just a quick walk from my apartment! This is the perfect spot to grab a quick meal and be satisfied.

Fantastic food, HUGE menu (seriously, its insane) best calzone around in my opinion.

After using Village Fare Pizza for events and parties I was expecting a satisfactory experience (per usual). However, I will no longer be using Village Fare Pizza and I do not recommend their services after my recent experience.
I ordered delivery to my residence and was notified it would take approx. 90 minutes. Initially, I was not concerned about the delivery time. I called several times to confirm my order and no one picked up. Finally, on the fourth time I called to confirm my order and I was told, «That was delivered two hours ago.» I then corrected him and said I have been waiting now for 2 hours and I have not received a call from the driver or a knock on the door.
The employee said he would contact the driver about my issue and after I insisted that he to take my contact information to provide me with an update.
The employee returned my call and explained, «That driver gave it to a young man who signed for the order at your address.» I told him there is no young man who would have answered a door, I’ve been home by myself and no one ever came to deliver my order.
The employee insisted I was lying and that it would not be possible that the driver GAVE MY ORDER AWAY. I requested a refund and my order to be delivered to me in 30 minutes. The employee REFUSED to assist me with a refund because I used EAT24 and refused to remake my order. This employee ended the conversation by saying, «I’m not talking to you about this anymore» and proceeded to hang up on me.
I have never experienced such horrible customer service. It’s a shame that Village Fare Pizza does not implement minimal custom service training to their employees.

My partner and I were frantically preparing for the next evening’s Holiday Party one recent night after work when she suddenly asked me what was for dinner. Having no idea we decided to use the Village Fare coupons we received in the mail many moons ago. We ordered the Family Pack – chicken wings, a 2-​Liter soda, a large pizza, and fries. I was excited about what seemed like a deal that was too good to be true; all the above for $ 20.99.
Well kids, it was too good to be true. The pizza reminded us of the Tombstone microwaveable pizzas you had after school in high school; the fries and wings weren’t much better. Not-​good-​dot-​com. The major redeeming quality was the low price point. Hopefully they’re other fare is tastier!

Really friendly staff. I feel thankful that they don’t close until 10pm. Carrot cake is pretty good.

Staff is very friendly and easy-​going, but their food is pretty standard and their options are what you’d expect from a pizza place… pizza, subs, hoagies, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and etc. However, there prices are pretty cheap so if I’m in the mood for something cheap and quick to eat before getting down to study, then I usually order in here. They also are very quick in getting their food out so you never have to wait too long.
I normally get their salads, but once in a while I’ll splurge and get a steak bomb, which is pretty much a loaded cheesesteak (which being from Philly, I’m always down for, but Philly is still No.1 for cheesesteaks). Overall, the quality of food is average, but since it’s cheap, I’d say it’s worth what you pay!

Staff was very friendly. I ordered a meat lover’s pizza. It was both fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Village Fare Pizza. I will certainly be returning.

I’ve ordered from this place a few times and everything from the pizza to wraps to salads has been the best delivery food I’ve found in Brookline so far.
However, it’s like pulling teeth every time you call and they’ve under quoted the delivery time every time I’ve called. The people who answer the phone should be more educated in the items on the menu and how to take credit cards. I’ve just learned it will always take at least hour no matter what they quote you.
If it weren’t for the delivery time and phone people they I would definitely add another star.

Very very very angry at delivery service. I ordered for staff over an hour ago and we are here starving right now. I have called TWICE to check on my order. My food is still not here and nobody at village faire pizza cared to reassure me that my food was coming or say anything to make me feel better. he told me «its busy when i called» … IF IT IS BUSY WHEN I CALLED THEN SAY ITS BUSY AND I WOULD HAVE PICKED IT UP BECAUSE ITS DOWN THE STREET. and when i called he told me «ITS ON THE WAY»… i dont believe you. because if it was on the way it would be here already.
never doing delivery here again. and they made themselves look very bad to my coworkers because i raved about this place. and I love the pasta there. ehhh probably wont order here ever again.

So they do make good pizza in Boston. Found it! This little shop has all the right ingredients for good ‘za and they know how to use them.
I had a feta cheese, bacon, artichoke heart and anchovie. You heard me right. And to top it off, a side of fried clams.
Service was great and friendly, the place was clean and didn’t smell like last nights grease (surprisingly, a common find in a lot of places). The crust was excellent, crispy and tasty to the edge.
The only dinger I give them is because the clams were average, nothing to write home about. Or even mention here. So I won’t. Oh. Wait…
I think I’ll try other menu items as long as I am in the neighborhood.
Gimme some more!

We were treated so rudely by a worker abdullah who is new. The owner is really great and cares about service so I had to let him know how this guy treated his customers. I like this place. We go to eat pizza and watch soccer games. Food is decent and well-​priced. I plan to keep coming here. The manager said it was that rude employees first week. I think it’ll be his last too.

Wish I was writing a review about the food but the food never actually showed up (even though I was charged) and nobody answers their phone. Not ordering from them again.

I overlooked this place for a while, and I am sooo sorry that I did. After ordering buffalo chicken pizza’s from nearly every Brookline pizzeria (and there are MANY), my fiancé and I agree that Village Fare’s wins as our favorite. Although it’s hard not to order the buffalo chicken pizza, we have tried others and they are all equally delicious.
And an unexpected surprise was how delicious their Chicken Gyro is– warm delicious pita, juicy chicken, fresh veggies, and yummy yogurt sauce. Now Village Fare is not only my go-​to for pizzas!

Great pizza. Pizza is a personal thing, of course, but this is great crust, sauce, and quality toppings. The Ultimate White Chicken is great, their twist of adding alfredo sauce give a great twist.
I had been trying several different places for delivery, and my family and I have settled in on this shop. Fine service and fair prices.

Ordered from here for work today and it was alright. We got the pizza (we wanted ½ cheese and ½ pepper and onion but they did ½ w peppers and ½ onion) and it was pretty good. it isn’t italian style… I’d say it is more like a greek style pizza. This is not the best pizza ever and it isn’t bad.
Here is the weird thing — they list cheddar cheese w/​their egglant parm subs — … Who puts cheddar cheese on an eggplant or chicken parm sub?! The good thing is I conducted an investigation. Two coworkers ordered the chicken parm sub and it appeared to be mozzarella. Let’s hope it wasn’t white cheddar… suspicious.

Repeat customer here. They have the fastest delivery around, so I keep ordering from them. We usually get the Chicken Fajita pizza. Awesome stuff with a little extra jalapeño peppers on the top. I saw them make it once and I liked the way they were grilling the chicken right before they put it on the pizza then into the oven.
Their Grinders and salads are also pretty good. The Gyro sandwich and greek salad combination is my favorite.

I ordered the ice cream sandwich but they didn’t have it so they sent me a «sundae» (basically whipped cream in a cup). Also, the Baguettini wasn’t even made with a baguette. The veal sandwich was soggy and gross too…

Ordered a Greek salad with chicken to go, and got a massive pile of greens and veggies loaded with tons of fresh Feta and topped with large, juicy, flavorful pieces of chicken. I couldn’t even finish it all, it was so much food, and that chicken was excellent. Solid choice.
It did cost me about $ 10 which hurt a bit… they didn’t ask about sizing when I ordered via phone so I figured they just had one size, but now I’m thinking maybe they defaulted me to a large (so check your sizes beforehand). Still, tasty and huge for what you get.
