Highly recommend Gabe and team at Thuro. Best shop for longboards anywhere in Massachusetts. Came in for some bushings and they totally took care of me. Great stock of everything — boards, protective gear, wheels… everything. Also blown away that they had a section for inline skates including USD, Remz, etc. They offer lessons on everything. Going back with my son soon to help him learn. I feel I’m constantly let down by skate shops, but I would give 10 stars if I could.

This is a great shop, with awesome customer service. The guy set my son up with a complete board, helmet, and pads, for his 6th birthday. This shop is set up with a lot of great gear for the experienced rider, but I was especially impressed with how well they can handle the new(6 year old) customer with no prior experience. The prices were very reasonable too. We will be back for sure.

I took the train to Brookline Hills on the Green D line today to go this shop and my experience couldn’t have been better. If you longboard and are a wheel whore like I am, you won’t be disappointed. A lot of brands are available here that you wouldn’t find other places in New England/east coast. I ended up getting some Cloud Ride mini ozones very happy with that. The wheels they had were Sector Nines nicer wheels, Cloud Ride, Cadillac, RAD and other quality brands along with all grits of vicious. Not just butterballs and stimulus like your skate shop will usually have. I didn’t see much for decks but that’s not what I was there for. Their shoe selection lacks. The customer service was excellent and the manager helped me with my selections. Big props to this shop and having tons of sweet longboard gear. Will definetly be back!

Thuro is an awesome skate and snow shop in the Boston area. They have by far the best selection of longboard gear in the area — Loaded, Orangatang, Paris, Riviera, Predator, Divine, RDVX, G-Form, Rayne, Landyachtz, Sector 9. The list goes on! Thuro is a big supporter and organizer in the Boston LB scene. They also carry plenty of street skate hard goods, plus gear for snow, inline skate and scooters. There is something for everyone! Best of all the staff is knowledgeable, helpful and unpretentious. Everyone is welcome and will come away with great gear at a great price. Definitely worth your visit!

I went in to check out skateboards and these guys were great. Great selection of boards and let me demo a couple. Despite the fact that I haven’t been on a board in 10 years, these guys were nice, non-judgemental and had good knowledge. I’m having a blast skating around on my new rig.

I stopped by for the first time and got a great deal on some Drake snowboard bindings. The staff was cool, owner was there and he helped me the most… highly recommended the bindings and when I used them they were awesome. Looking forward to exploring their surf gear more too. Overall very friendly, knowledgeable, unpretentious, and chill. Best board shop I’ve found in the city.

They had awesome stuff and a wide selection for longboards. The hike up from Wentworth sucked but going back down was much better. Definately going to be my go to place from now on.
