Battling to find good coffee on Deer Isle. This little place has some options but don’t look as I did for «Sandy’s Provisions» because it is closed. It’s now called «The General Store and it IS right across from the library! They offer some local coffee too and I ended up mixing blends as I often do to get it just right. Friendly service but honestly, I was just happy to find coffee that was drinkable!
Somebody needs to come up here and make a coffee shop happen.

Stopped in for lunch. They have coffee, wine, cheese, sandwiches and a few baked goods +. Everything looked yummy. My husband I and split a roast beef/​cheddar with horseradish wrap and a crab cake sandwich. Both were really yummy. My only grip would be the size of the sandwiches. Kinda small for the price but the taste and freshness were there. I will go back to sample their ice cream and waffle cones.
