I love this restaurant. I’ve ordered from here multiple times and I really enjoy their fried rice, sushi, and especially their dumplings. I only wish that the dumplings were a little cheaper because then I would buy them much more often. I would definitely recommend this place!

Went out to Ku tonight for the first time. They gave us a complimentary pepper tuna appetizer which was delicious. All the seafood was fresh. We also ordered the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer and the Cajun speciality role. Both the shumai and steamed the vegetable dumplings were tasty. My husband and I appreciated that the outside wasn’t thick. I also recommend their wonton soup.

So happy to eat at a NOMSG Chinese food restaurant. I could tell the quality of the food was so much better than most local Chinese food restaurants.

Delicious! I’ve been here a handful of times now and every time has been great. The sushi is fantastic and tastes very fresh. I also love their special rolls. I would say Tiger roll and Halloween are my favorite… soooo good. Everyone that works here is very pleasant and the restaurant is clean and inviting. We came for my mom’s birthday and they put together a wonderful sushi boat that was delicious and beautiful. They also do a fried ice cream tempura dessert with banana tempura for birthdays and it’s very good. Definitely a place I’ll keep going back to.

Grabbed dinner here twice with my family since it’s next door the TaeKwonDo school next door. While I’m not crazy about the remodeling, it’s already better than the previous restaurant that was there. Both times I ordered the sushi platters to try out. I’ve found their sushi fresh and enjoyed the selections. I also ordered noodle dishes for my kids and they enjoyed it. My only complaint is the sushi platters take a long time to come out and would recommend pre-ordering, especially if you are coming with a large group. I bring this up since I was eating during the weekdays and the restaurant wasn’t busy, so it’s something to note if you go on a weekend.

We were on the search for a new sushi spot after Koo in Rye closed. This has become one of our regular dine out restaurants! Excellent food, great service! Grace is the best server :) Love the salmon tartar, shumai, tuna lovers roll. Always enjoy dining here!

Ok, so I have a serious bone to pick with this place. Ordered delivery and the delivery guy literally made us come outside to his car and get the food! Cmon!

Excellent food. They’ve made a few mistakes leaving items out of delivery but always fix it quickly. Great sushi, always fresh. Best around the area. Their teriyaki is good.

Just ordered delivery for the first time from Ku. Literally ordered Chinese, Japanese — sushi, and Thai — tom yum soup. I know… 3 entirely different styles but I was hungry and undecided. The delivery wasn’t great because the woman on the phone didn’t spell my address correctly but otherwise not a big deal once I started eating. The sushi — delicious! Seafood tasted fresh, flavors on point. Tom yum soup — extra spicy as it should be with massive shrimp. Sesame chicken — for my boyfriend but I still had a bite… Crispy not soggy. Great taste and with really huge portions for a 12.00 order. Honestly this is my new go to for everything Asian in the area.

Another on the fly meal with hubbs. We were out running errands and ready for din when I scoped out Unilocal for some local eats. Came across Sakura but the directions brought us to a residential address(oy) so I figured it just wasn’t the one. I searched again and found Ku, so we changed plans and headed on over. We parked right in front and I would definitely suggest parking at one of the end spots or someplace where it’s easy to exit the lot because it is quite tight and difficult to maneuver if there are a lot of cars parked at any given time. So here’s where I was slightly perturbed; the hostess was on the phone taking an order, I assume, and although I understand that, she didn’t look at us, acknowledge our presence or anything. That irritates me because we have no other choice but to stand in front of her area, awkwardly waiting for the next step. Luckily two other staff member came by and amicably swept us away to our table, all the while welcoming us. We sat and were immediately greeted by our server, who handed us our warm moist towelettes and proceeded to take our order. We stuck to sake and beer. I had an Ichiban and he had a hot sake. We had soup and salad and an order of edamame to start, all of which were pretty standard, except for the green salad which tasted a bit better than other places, I’m assuming because of the extra drizzle of sesame oil. I had a Spicy Salmon Skin Hand Roll with brown rice and that was very nice. As with the salad, it was slightly different than other restaurants. We decided to share the Imperial Sashimi entrée which is twenty pieces of sashimi. This is really for one person but it was plenty for us, along with the edamame and hand roll. We ordered the Rib Eye Teriyaki to go for my son. They cook the meat to temp and it was a perfect medium. It tasted very good. My son liked it. We would probably go back if we are in the area.

Today is the second time I come and their closed, they were closed on a Monday but they fixed that, now it’s 415 pm and their closed. Never heard of a chinese restaurant closing in the middle of the day. As far as the food goes, I was disappointed with the beef and broccoli in that the beef wasn’t as tender/melt in your mouth I’m used too from a upscale sit down restaurant. They do make good drinks and the music is nice. Hope to see improvements and then I’ll shoot to 5 stars.
