The station opens early and closes at 11 pm which makes it pretty convenient although this gas station gets so crowded you’d think they were giving the gas away. For some reason, the cars that pull up are always in opposite directions so that each side of the pumps has a car facing in each direction; it gets worse when cars on one side are facing towards each other and the drivers have to thread the needle through to get past each other and then avoid the next mess of cars in the other lane. Once past that, trying to get out of the lot into traffic is the next segment of the gauntlet. The station is opposite the Post Office and down the street from the A&P and Chase Bank so motorists are U-turning all over for the length of that block of road like they’re at a square dance. I really need to remember to fill up when in Jersey and avoid these small dramas.

The guys at the pumps are really nice and quick. Went in for gas and then pulled aside to ask for service in the garage. The workers started talking crap about where I parked and when I just mentioned that i needed service on my car, the witch like woman behind the door yelled at me and told me to move my car before I could even get a word in. I will NEVER. Go back to this place. I would rather drive down to the end of Riverdale ave and go to the BP than ever go back to This gas station. Poor service. Probably the worst I’ve ever had in my 14 years in NYC

Just about the only gas station in North Riverdale that isn’t on Broadway — so it’s convenient for us North Riverdalians. It’s full service. Ooooooooo. The service guys are generally pretty quick and efficient. The cashier(s) inside seem friendly. The little Sunoco mart is open late and have a standard selection of cold beer and scratch-off tickets. The garage generally always has a car or 2 being tinkered with, which leads me to believe people may trust it. Gee, a 2 star rating? Yep. You see, this place aggravates one of my pet peeves. They charge extra per gallon when you use a credit card. I know what you’re thinking — relaaaaaax, lots of gas stations do that, get over it. And you know what, I actually would get over it for the convenience, but the kicker is I AMUSING A SUNOCOCREDITCARD!!! So you penalize me for patronage and loyalty by STILL charging me more?! Sunoco must be a franchise, because there are plenty of other Sunocos that don’t charge different prices for cash vs. credit. For shame, Sunoco of North Riverdale. Unless I have to push my gasless car to the nearest station, and this one happens to be it… I’ll be taking my gas needs elsewhere.
