Starbucks

I come to this Starbucks almost everyday and have no major issues with the staff but I don’t think I’ve been able to get a coffee in under 15 minutes unless I come in the evening when it’s dead. A couple of weeks back I asked for some water with my coffee and when I got my coffee I didn’t get my water so I asked the barista and he said I had to wait in line order the water and wait for the water so I just bought a water. From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out I was there for 25 minutes.
UPDATE: currently having the best Starbucks experience with Anthony. Still rating this store ⁴⁄₅ because it’s hit or miss.

This location needs serious retraining of employees as well as management. One of the problems I feel that is improper is the need to make a purchase before you can even use the restroom. On another note food quality is not what I come to expect from this particular Starbucks location.
In addition the lines are slow with patrons having to wait sometimes outside of the door now you would think it would behoove management to make an improvement of this concern, furthermore they never have an assortment of different types of milk they don’t have nutmeg it’s like they don’t even bother to keep a complete inventory of items that they know customers will be asking for. Another thing I notice was customers leaving because of how slow the staff is.
This location gets an F rating for poor customer service rude unprofessional staff and a restroom policy that I feel stinks. You’re better off going to another establishment.

One of those spacious Starbucks location. Good outlet set ups and semi private work corners. The coffe aint so bad either. Service is good.

Line is out the door. Good drinks. Rude cashiers. The only competent person is probably the person making the coffee. I ordered a chestnut praline latte with soy milk and requested the whip cream, the girl taking my order rolls her eyes and says «it already comes with whip cream». what? Let me school you really quick, when a customer orders something with soy, you– as a competent barista– should ask the person if they want whip. Since I’m ordering soy, perhaps I’m a bit intolerant of lactose. Well she thinks everyone is the same and assumes whip for every drink. Then I proceeded to add a breakfast sandwich to my drink and the cashier gets even more annoyed and responds «did you tell her what you wanted the first time?» (Pointing to the incompetent whip cream loving barista).I responded no. Cashier goes on to Huff and puff like the big bad wolf.
I didn’t apply for a barista, you did.
Will not be returning to this location. Hey only got 3 stars cuz my drink was on point! Thank you coffee making guy!!!

Usually fairly efficient, except on nice days when everybody and their brother is ordering complicated things like frappuccinos and all I want is a damn passion tea which takes all of four seconds to make… those are the days they have a single person making drinks and that’s when I get annoyed.
Otherwise it’s clean and I haven’t had a problem popping in before my train.

The store itself is very spacious and the fridge offers many different types of food not found in a typical Bronx Starbucks, like the chia snacks. The restroom is clean, which is a credit to the staff here being that it is right next to the metro north. My only complaint is that the app ordering here is pretty inconsistent, one time I nearly missed my train because my order didn’t come through, which makes me weary of using it.

This Starbucks is terrible, I’m a gold card member & I needed to use the ladies room & I was told that I had to be a customer so I showed my gold card & said I am a customer. I was told «Well you have to buy what you want 1^st & then you can use the restroom» I then said I come in here every day & I don’t want to take my coffee & Pastry into the lavatory I want to use the facility, wash my hands & come out & buy my goods. I was sent away without my food or being able to use the facility. SMH THIS IS A DISGRACE

Comfy Starbucks, nice space, and the baristas here are quick.
It gets a lot of traffic with the Metro North station and Fordham University being right across the street, so it was a smart move location wise. Lots of college students, commuters, and kids from the local schools.
Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit, but if you happen in during the late afternoon or early evening hours, there are usually open seats. I’ve had no problems here. I usually get a drip coffee, but when I have ordered lattes or whatever, they’ve always been very good.

The service is attentive and fast. The product is the standard for Starbucks. Customers pay more for coffee here. However, people who enjoy coffee will enjoy this Starbucks on Fordham road.

This Starbucks location is courteous, quick (one of the quickest I’ve been to!) and the space is really cool — lots of comfy seating and a large space too. Stop in here next time you’re waiting for metro north (directly across from metro north train station).

The location is clean, the service is fast but really unfriendly and rude, I go there because is close to my office. They should change the way they serve the customers.

One of the best Starbucks I been to. They are quick to take orders & to get them done. It’s clean & have plenty of seats.

I love Starbucks! I’ve probably spent enough to buy a car on Starbucks. I was so excited when this location opened, however the employees here (not all but most) have attitudes. There’s one young lady that’s always talking under her breath. For example, I just sent in there and got an orange juice. I asked for a cup of ice deprecate. The young lady making the drinks didn’t realize I had bought my drink already and I heard her say «look at this shit» (guess it was the ice cup request) she then looked at the drink in my hand and said, «oh» and proceeded to make my drink. This is just one that just happened but it’s pretty consistent to her attitude in the past.

Wow! What a lovely location! Admittedly, I did not go here with the intention of purchasing anything: I was taking the Bx12 bus from the Bronx Zoo back to Inwood and needed a sudden restroom break. Heh. Still! I walked in and marveled a bit at the spacious location! This surely is a godsend for Fordham students looking for a coffee shop to study at… or, perhaps, have a study break at. Service from the baristas was pretty top-​notch; when telling mine my name, she asked if it was with two Ls and an I, and she was on the nose. We got into a conversation about how she has a friend named Allison and there are so many ways to spell it on a Starbucks cup. (Finally! Someone realizes my pain! Ha!) Also, one customer came back with a drink that wasn’t to her liking, and the baristas were apologetic and borderline enthusiastic to get her order right the second time.
I’m liking this Buckys, I must say! It’s a notch above many of the Manhattan locations I’ve been to.

This Starbucks location is actually much better than a lot of locations I’ve frequented down in Manhattan. Even during busy hours the wait is never too long. The baristas are pleasant and on point and I’ve never had any issues with service.
This location is also a lot bigger than many locations in the city, which I guess is one of the perks of being in the Bronx. There’s ample table space and the layout perfectly accommodates all kinds of customers, from those just looking to have a quick bite with their latte to those looking to set up camp for an afternoon of work. I have zero complaints.

The staff is friendly and efficient and for this area they keep this place pretty clean also keep the fools out so this is a must visit

Standard Starbucks. The staff is friendly and hasn’t messed up my order yet. I go about once every other week unless I’m in a super coffee mood

My favorite Starbucks in NYC, and I’ve been to most of them. The staff knows me and order by name and keep this bustling store, über-​clean and organized. The bathroom is sparkling clean and the wifi is pretty good.

Better service than any downtown Starbucks I’ve been to!
Consistent and reliable service regardless of the time of day.
They also do coffee travelers for meetings. I needed two for a morning meeting recently. The store manager took my information down the day before, including what time I would need them and gave me a call to let me know it was ready in the morning during their busiest time.

I’ve been looking for a good place to sit down with a coffee, my laptop and notes and just chill like a loser for a quiet few hours. There has been nothing in the area so I’ve been scooping up my unlimited on my days off and have been enjoying the scenic route on the 12 bus to inwood where I hit up Darling Coffee. BUT WAIT! Now there’s a Starbucks within a 12 minute walk from my house!!! Oh joy!
I am not a big fan of their coffee but again I just wanna pretend I am important and sit around for a couple of hours pretending I am working when in fact I am being as witty as I can be on various social media sites…
Now as far as a Starbucks goes, this one is super nice. Ample seating and very clean. Even though it’s in Fordham Plaza it still remains quiet inside and hasn’t gotten ratchet… Yet.
I’ve been here several times and I am enjoying it. The staff is super friendly too!
And an added bonus is that I am burning calories walking here instead of burning them by maintaining my balance on a crowded 12 bus. :-)
