I was introduced to this place in my college days and I still come in from time to time. Some of the regulars are friends, the other regulars I don’t really care about. If you are going to walk into an Irish pub thinking everyone is going to smile at you then you are walking in with the wrong mindset. This is a spot for you to drink, not meet your next lover or BFF. These are where the real people who can teach you a thing or two about life go. So yes, you might get cussed at but that’s why I love this place, because its so real! Great prices any time all the time. Get in, get your shit, and get out.

Respect to this dive bar and the house six foot hero they serve on Friday nights. Typical old man bar, with American flag next to the Bud tap. Definitely start out here and walk down over to Fordham Road to continue Bronx dive bar goodness. Very local Bronx crowd of bluecollar guys.
