No 1 Restaurant

Horrible! I usually order from here all the time but last night was my last night ordering from here. I placed my order around 8pm last night. Food arrived around 8:30. I ordered Spare rip tips with fry rice and another order Sauteed mixed vegetables with white rice. When I opened my Sauteed mixed vegetables, their was nothing in there but BROCCOLI. I called back letting them know that my order was wrong, I was told that’s my problem. Never again!

This is my go to place when I don’t have lunch. Their House lo Men is great. Not sure what more you can ask from Chinese take out. Call in prior to pick up and your food is ready in 10 minutes.

I called those place a few times. The food was ok but the last two times I opened my wonton soup I found a string of black hair. Yeah that’s all I have to say about this place

This place was far from #1.
My experience was odd. A gentleman at the counter, when inquired about portion sizes, presented a white carton to me, threw it down, and mocked my inquiry. After that, I left.
Do yourself a favor and eat in.

Moved into a new apt and wanted to order takeout, so Unilocaled some nearby places and whadda ya know, one of the menus in my place had great reviews. Super! Called and ordered two dishes — shrimp with broccoli and hunan beef. A totally reasonable amount of time later someone shows up — yay! Money to him, food to me… open the bag and there is one single dish there — and it’s something with chicken. So I call back, and explain the problem, and they say no problem. Then again, guy with food, money to him, and we’re great — but still no shrimp dish. Call again… they have to have someone else call me back cause the lady can’t understand my problem. Finally communicate the problem… And communicate that no, I’m not paying again cause I’m not going to pay for what I didn’t order… Someone shows up and refuses to give me my food until I hand over the chicken dish — and he crouches on the floor in the hall and opens it to check and make sure I wasn’t lying that it wasn’t my food. Seriously? Then just leaves my replacement food and walks off with the chicken. No joke. No apology that it took three tries to deliver two dishes. And the food really wasn’t good, to be honest (the broccoli was super bitter, no part of it was impressive). Especially not after the headache.

This place is five stars all the way. I really thought I reviewed this place back in 2008. I called it No. 1 chinese or whatever. Maybe my review was dropped because this is the official name of the place.
I usually order the white rice with chinese vegatables ($ 3.95). I seriously love the way they make the chinese vegatables. I also order chicken wings with pork fried rice sometimes. Wonton Soup here is great too. I also love the french fries here. There are the crinkle cut variety. They give you alot of rice, you know with the chicken wings and fried rice combo. I also agree with Tyrik, shrimp lo mein is really good too.

Me and my family always order from this chinese restaurant, because it’s arguably the best chinese restaurant around where I live. The food is always flavored good… chicken wings always tasty and not BURNT. Rice is fresh and is not old. I like eating their shrimp lo mein with soy sauce, as well as their shrimp w/​broccoli — both flavored good. Very rarely is the food not acceptable when we call for delivery. I’m a fan… and have been a fan for a while now. So become a fan too. and visit here when you’re in the area.
