I’ve been to this gym a few times within the past few months and it’s pretty similar to other Lucille Roberts gyms I frequent. Being a gold member, I have the choice to frequent different Lucille gyms that is very convenient. I love that the lockers are not too far from the workout areas. The instructors are great and like everything else, you get what you put in. I don’t get caught up with who’s taking the class or the other petty stuff that bothers people. There is just one floor with the middle area for the classes and the surrounding area are the weights and machines which is a fairly small area. Thankfully I go in the mornings and it’s crowded but not packed for the classes. I can see it being very busy during the after work rush. One thing I don’t like is that part of the locker room is open and if you want to change your clothes, you have to go around the other side. Lucille Roberts has never been known for their state of the arts facilities. However, their facilities are affordable, clean and the staff are cool. If it’s crowded I find a space to get my body in shape while I’m there and keep it moving until it’s time for me to return.

So after searching and doing a ton of research I found that the Lucille Roberts gym would be perfect for me. No strange men watching me like bait, or offering me «assistance» while I do my squats. After going for the first time today id have to say my overall experience was«ok». First off the address listed above is incorrect. Took me 30min to find this place. Second I was under the impression that on Saturdays and Sunday’s the gym closes at 5(as stated on this site). Unfortunately my workout was cut short to find that they close at 2. But other than that the equipment is kept clean, the environment was spacious, and the employees are amazing!!! Honestly the staff is well knowledgable, friendly, and helpful! They even stayed open an 5 extra minutes so that I could finish up my sets. And to the LR crew, please update your hours and location so that other guest can find it much easier.

I have been a member of this gym for two years. Yesterday, I was finally able to cancel my membership because my contract was up. I would not recommend this gym to anyone serious about their workouts. If you want to work out at any time past 3 o’clock, it’s like the hunger games to get a treadmill. There are only about 10 treadmills, and they get filled instantly with girls who want to crawl while holding on to the handrails or text on their phones. Their weight machines are a joke. There are only about 10 weight machines — one machine for each body part. The machines break down constantly. One time I counted three broken at the same time! Their free weights are nonexistent. The heaviest free weights they have are 12 lbs. 12lbs! This gym caters to the image of women who want to just lose weight, but not work hard and become strong. If you’re thinking of joining because they offer classes — unlike other gyms in the area — those suck too. Every class is basically a different variation of zumba. There are only two pros — the staff is overall pretty friendly and there are no meathead guys. The cons outweigh the pros here, however.
