This is definitely not the same place I once knew. They must have changed management or owners. Ordering here required the patience of a saint. Even a monk will want to choke them if they had my experience. I looked up at the«menu» and decided I wanted two orders of steamed shrimp with fries. The third order was scallops with crab sticks. I tell them I wanted fries with each order. The younger guy behind the counter tells me if I want my shrimp steamed I have to get it from the other area. This was confusing because their«menu» plaque states prices for shrimp, whiting, etc. What is the plaque there for? At the bottom it says $ 5.00 or more for them to steam your food but I thought it was for people who didn’t purchase from their«menu». I get the amount of shrimp for what I think is two orders. No one bothered to assist me because they were engrossed in a novela so I made a guess. I was told I had to pay there… more confusion. Why do I have to pay there when I wanted shrimp with fries and the price is different? When I asked them about it, they said it was more because it was steamed. They don’t accept debit or credit cards… just EBT or cash. I pay them for the shrimp and wait for them to cook it. Eventually, one of the other guys tells me I have to bring it back to the other area so they can steam it. Again, more confusion because I had already paid. Why am I, as the customer, doing all this work. While all this was happening, the younger guy says my crab sticks order was ready. I said why is this shrimp order so hard to complete? No answer. I wait for my steamed shrimp and when it’s done, an older guy places the entire order in one plastic bag. I ask him about the fries and tell him it is supposed to be two separate containers because it is two orders. He says in broken English, «we cook it». Yes, I see that but again where are the fries I asked for and why are you putting it in one bag? He calls the young guy and says in Spanish she is asking for the fries. Young guy asks«you want fries?» By that time I had lost my patience. It was the first thing I mentioned when I «placed» my order and I had already wasted approximately 25 minutes waiting for the food. He says«I thought you were talking about the crab sticks». I had to wait for the fries to be cooked and still pay an additional $ 2.00 because it was not included. Again, WTF, is the menu plaque for?! My crab stick order didn’t have fries and the ones I paid for wasn’t enough for two people. The food was mediocre definitely not worth the $ 25 I spent. I don’t have a problem with people who don’t speak English as their first language(English is my third language). When I began placing my order they spoke to me in English. I don’t appreciate you pretending to understand English, yessing me to death and wasting my time. This is exactly what happened here with the wana be Mexican cartel. Certain things should never be outsourced. The seafood market should be left to the Koreans. They make sure you leave happy because they value their customers. People in this hood put up with this because there isn’t much around in the immediate area. If you live around here, do yourself favor and explore other food options. If you live outside of here, keep this one out of your radar. I don’t recommend this dump and the BS they serve.

Choice of Fried fish or Steamed, You pick your own Seafood and vegetables, pay then they steam them with seasoning, garlic and takes a while to steam, but its worth the is always crowded because its so good and place to eat here, to go only and they do not deliver.

I love this place!!! It’s a little sketchy looking from both the outside and inside, but the steamed seafood is fantastic!!! First you select your choice of raw seafood, they weigh it, then you choose whatever veggie’s or starches(potatos, corn, onions, cabbage, okra, broccoli, etc…) They clean the fish and mixed it with garlic and seasoning(spicy or mild) then throw it into this massive steamer for about 10−15min. After they take it out, they pour melted butter all over the food, i like to ask for extra. It looks like a heart attack waiting to happen, but man oh man is it good:) This is the only food spot i miss from the bronx:(
