Landin Mac & Cheese

Without a doubt the best Mac and cheese joint in The Bronx and one of the best in all of New York City. They just doubled in size so now you can comfortably sit in and enjoy your guilty pleasure. So many varieties and they’re always willing to customize for ya.

Love their chicken and bacon Mac! Just know that a small is more than enough. And make sure you can nap after eating because it gives serious itis! Speedy delivery and good mac!

This place is a gemmmm. The location is so random to me. I would compare this Mac & cheese to S’MAC which are only located in the city. Landin’s is much closer to me and just as good. Hot, cheesy, filling mac. I’m definitely coming back again & again ;333

Great Mac n Cheese. A little greasy, but delicious.
The small is the perfect size for me (my stomach is small) and I couldn’t finish the large by myself, but it saves fine and reheated well the next day.
Also got their side Caesar salad. Very good. Fresh, cripy lettuce.

It is what it is — a simple, small place that serves enormous portions of delicious mac and cheese. The hot chicken is a damned fine dish to start with. A large — for about $ 9 — was more than I could eat, and I’m a very large man. A South Bronx gem.

4 ½ stars? Really!!! LOL. It was just «ok» and tasted like Kraft Mac and Cheese with extra cheese.

This place is okay, I just think they need to get a new person at the register because the girl with the glasses had the biggest fuckin attitude and kept Rollin her eyes at anyone who walked up to her. If I wasn’t with my kid I definitely would have cursed her ass out.

This is a hidden gem in the Bronx… the hot chicken mac and cheese was to die for! It was delicious! If I had one recommendation, add Bleu cheese and more hot sauce and it will be to perfection. No matter what, it’s delish! I ordered two days in a row and just finished my meal. It’s quick delivery and food is a good portion for one person. I recommend to everyone!

I’m going to need to put an exercise regimen in place because this place is SMACK in the middle of my job and home and it’s going to be problematic for my diet!
I usually spend my Saturday’s exploring the city, always leaving the Bronx behind. But I knew I wanted food and didn’t really feel like traveling for it. Specifically Mac & Cheese. I remember asking some of my coworkers about this place, but they had no experience. So I figured this would be a nice little walk & a quick fix to my hunger issue. And I could update them on Monday.
On to the good stuff. I walk in and it’s a quaint little spot that sells Mexican Food right alongside the Mac. Cool. Must be THEEE spot for munchies. I ordered the «make your own» with cheddar, Parm, bacon & grilled chicken. As a last minute decision, I added jalepeño. I got my food pretty fast. I took a bite and there was jalepeño allllll in it. Every single bite contained some of the spicy little pepper. I finished my water before my food and didn’t want to ask for another one because… um…I didn’t want them to think I couldn’t handle the heat. Outside of the spice, the Mac itself was AMAZING. So good. Next time I’ll tell them to go light on the jalepeño and get two waters, just in case.

After reading all of the reviews, my buddy and I drove there after work before we went out yesterday. She ordered the burger mac and cheese and I just had cheddar. Customer service is really good. The chocolate mousse cake was delicious.
I guess because the reviews were so great I expected more. My review on the mac and cheese… it’s «okay». Mac and cheese contains more than just macaroni and cheese (eggs, butter, milk, salt, pepper, etc.) I didnt taste it. Maybe because my family and my in laws cook very well and because of the rave reviews, I was holding them up to a higher standard. We even shared with family. Everyone felt the same as we did. Was very disappointed. But that chocolate mousse cake is very good!

Treat this place as a fast food operation, and you won’t be disappointed! We ordered the bacon mac and cheese, as well as the jalapeño mac and cheese, and both tasted pretty good (Although you can tell that that the food was really quite unhealthy). The inside of the store needed a makeover as well. We were at the Bronx Brewery earlier that day and called to see if they had delivery, the person that picked up the phone said they didn’t deliver. However, upon visiting the store in person, we saw a delivery man go on his route.

Ok. I have 3 words for the mac n’cheese at Landin «fa-​bu-​lous» … they are ahead of the times, like Prince when he released 1999 in 1982! The bronx is changing and our taste buds are more sophisticated. . Thank you Landin for making the Bronx your home!

Great Mac and cheese spot I personally had the 4 cheese Mac n cheese and it was great! (Plenty cheesy)

Went in last night and ordered the classic Mac and cheese. I must say it was so delicious! It had the right amount of flavor, and the right amount of cheese.
I most definitely loved that it was still hot when I got home. (Half hour bus ride)
The place is lacking in décor, but the service was pretty good.
I found my go to spot whenever I am in the area, no more traveling so far downtown for some delicious Mac and cheese, when I don’t feel like making my own!

I needed to find something to eat for lunch so I went to my Unilocal app to find some nearby places. I figured I’d try something new. Long story short, it’s good and the prices are as well. I got a small and I only ate half so far lol!!! I recommend this spot! Next time I’ll get the burger Mac and cheese (for some reason I ordered that with broccoli but they forgot the beef!!! :(hence the 4 stars)

Anytime I’m near the area I feel like I HAVE to order or stop here. Forget Smac, Mac Bar and all those other equally awesome places. This spot offers the same quality at a better price! You can’t go wrong with what you order. My favorites being the Make your own option and the Cheeseburger. I also love the mini size. You get to satisfy a craving without feeling guilty about caloric intake.

I’m giving this a four, because the heart attack I may have from ordering this too much makes me feel like they should get knocked down a notch, lol. Just pretend it was a 5!
I’m very judgey about baked mac & cheese. These folks have something amazing going. I am trying to eat all my veggies and fruits this week, so I can reward myself with a small Hawaiian or BBQ mac. Oh. God. Yes. Do yourself a favor and try them out… not too much… cause it is definitely heavy food and yourself 30 years from now may regret it. But the you right now? The you right now needs this in your life.

I was really excited to try the Mac and cheese from here, I got a mini 4 cheese, it was a bit on the rubbery side I really didn’t taste any cheesiness,
because I got delivery I needed a minimum so I also order a grilled chicken slice, the slice was alright but you could tell that they just threw the chicken on a regular cheese slice that had been sitting.
Overall not impressed, previous reviews misled me.

I was actually around the neighborhood so I decided to give this spot a try since it had so much positive reviews… and I was not disappointed.
I came here with a friend. I ordered the Burger Mac n’ Cheese (it had beef) size small and my friend got the Mozzarella Mac n’ Cheese and the BBQ Mac n’ Cheese with chicken. My friend wasn’t really impressed with the Mozzarella Mac n’ Cheese but everything else was ON POINT!
They cook it right in front of you so depending on how much you order you’ll probably wait a while, but it’s definitely worth it. Since I ordered a bunch mine took about 20 minutes or so.
My advice is to wait for a bit before you dig in. When I got my Burger Mac n’ Cheese I took a few bites and it was just hot as hell. I waited like 10 minutes and then decided to take another, and another, and… BAM! It was all gone. You taste all the flavors of cheese and beef when it’s not blazing on your tongue.
They have $ 2 plain pizza slices, pastelitos for $ 1.50 (chicken or beef), and beef patties (I forgot how much). The beef pastelitos were alright, tbh. I’ve had better. But their specialty is definitely mac n cheese and that’s why I gave them a 5 star rating.
Definitely would go back!
