I got a reheat slice. It was really good. Soft crust with a crisp bottom.

I’ve been going there since I was a child. There pizza is good and service is friendly.

This is my go to pizzeria when I’m visiting Arthur Ave. The place is small and unpretentious. This is a quintessential New York City neighborhood pizzeria and definitely not touristy. The slices are huge and my son, a real pizza connoisseur, loves them. My favorite is the eggplant parmesan hero, made using fresh focaccia bread and as everyone knows, the choice of bread can make or break a hero. The décor can best be described as old school dingy.

Eh, not the greatest slice. I expected more on Arthur Ave. and this was my first try after moving here recently. I’m still trying to figure out why a slice here has twice the dough it needs to be sufficient. The slice is fairly large but taste-wise isn’t tops to me. If you’re broke and starving maybe it’s worth it but I’d rather walk a block and grab one from Catania’s instead. The garlic knots were also too dry for my liking. Oddly enough the best part of the meal was listening to the owner and his entourage discuss hollywood cinema and make glaring errors. And no offense, but the look of the help(and the condition of their skin) made me want to scrub my insides and shower twice when I left.
