Happy Garden

Rose is on the mark about the chicken wings here. Generous serving and simply delicious. I once came in and a gentleman very rudely asked the woman behind the counter to wipe ALL the oil off the chicken wings. I couldn’t help but think how stupid he was for defeating the purpose of FRIED chicken wings, and especially these chicken wings.
I also usually get the pork fried rice with eggs (yes, definitely add the eggs) and plantains (not something one normally expects at a Chinese food spot, but they’re delish!) On lazy days, I’ve found that Happy Garden’s delivery service is exceptional. The delivery time is quick, and the food fresh. I’ve been eating at Happy Garden for as long as I can remember, and the food is still as good as ever.

I stopped eating chicken and broccoli here because it’s always a hit or miss. However, their chicken wings with pork fried rice is out of this world good!
They season the chicken wings differently and they aren’t cheap with portions. You get a good 6 – 8 wings with your order which is pretty good considering the cheap a**holes down the street only give you 4. Bastards.
The pork fried rice is also a delicious gem and if you haven’t tried tostones with brown garlic sauce, do yourself a favor and make room for them because they make it like no other chinese food spot I know.
