Game Day Grill

Decent drink prices. Specials every now and then ($ 5 mixed drinks, etc.) .
They have the NFL package so you can watch any game you want here, and there are TVs everywhere. However, some of them have really bad pictures… they are high def TVs but the pictures look like they didn’t hook them up right or something.

Don’t get me wrong, this bar may be a good time. Always has people in it and people from the area. It seems like a good place to come to and drink and chill. Well, great. I think the prices are reasonable too. The service however, terrible. I would never rate this bar to begin with but I will give you Unilocalers the run-​down of my first and probably last experience here. My sister’s friend threw her dad a birthday party here, catered of course and had about 50−60+ people. She paid $ 35/​Head for two-​hour open bar and some food. She also hired a DJ who was cool. Played great music. I didn’t see anyone starting any trouble. Then– all of a sudden, the owner’s boyfriend/​husband, probably drunk, comes to the DJ booth and just flips his DJ equipment and tables over. Fights are about to break out, drama is about to unfold. What does the bouncer do? NOTHING– I found that funny because Mr. Tough guy bouncer physically stopped me as I was entering the bar to check for ID. Some guy also said «party’s over everyone leave» at 12:15AM? Really? I don’t quite remember if it was the same man who attacked the DJ but it was a shame.
If you own an establishment, of any kind, do not treat people who just spent a pretty-​penny at your place with disrespect. The DJ was there for my sister’s friend’s party, NOT for the bar itself. For a bar like Game Day Grill to even have a DJ, they’d go broke. Maybe they should have been more appreciative of the fact that the guy was bringing people in?
Whatever. I wasn’t there for the whole party but I do know people had fun. Management’s inability to cope with everyone having fun and becoming an ego-​driven place will definitely make sure none of us will be back here.
Do yourselves alllll a favor and go to Paddy Doherty’s across the street. They are 10x better.
