I used to like this place. But lately my food has been coming like this (see picture). When I call to have them fix it, I’m placed on hold and I can hear them laughing in the background. Then they tell me that the whole batch was burnt. Why are they sending burnt food???
Please keep yourself and your families safe– order from another place. This restaurant is giving Dominican food a terrible name. Have some pride.

This place suuuucks! Found a rubber band in my beans! Lol disgusting. If u order make sure u speak spanish or be prepared for ur order to be messed up! And if u order u Will be waiting over an hour for ur food! To top it all off its on the expensive side!

If you don’t speak Spanish, save yourself the trip and aggravation, communication is always a big issue here. I live in the air so I have learnt to suffer through the experience of ordering food in local restaurants
I happen to love what is called the Dominican breakfast, and my hubby likes the expresso/​coffee and a grilled cheese sandwich. The coffee is always strong and can wake the dead. A plus, hence the two stars. Service is slow and inattentive. Meals outside of breakfast are usually salty and cheap on the meat unless you order the chicken which is hit or miss, sometimes dry.
Once I ordered a grilled cheese, an American collaquism for a grilled cheese sandwich and the saleswoman thought I wanted a grilled piece of cheese, talk about not relating culturally. I was already to chalk it up to a funny story but the saleswoman took an adversarial stance and that did it for me, no more frequenting this joint.

Great service at the bar (of course). Ordered mango pequeño con tres golpes and it was perfect. Since it’s the small one it came with one of each golpe vs usual two eggs, two slices of cheese etc. the mangu was smooth and perfectly mashed. I’m actually a stickler about the consistency of my mangu so was happy with it.

The lunch special is clutch. You get a lot of food for low cost. The arroz con pollo was great, I ordered a side of fried cheese which was extra and a can of soda or water is included.

My coworker spent literally 15 minutes on the phone, trying to order with a credit card. When I walked in and she saw that I had enough cash to cover everything, she said, «Never mind, we’ll pay with cash.» And then they only brought half the order!!! So when we called back, a coworker who spoke Spanish got on the phone, and things went a little better, but still took a solid 5 minutes to just order the two things that they forgot. And then my food finally came and it was so fried it was dried out and gross. Such a disappointment.

For $ 6.50 had white rice, beans and chicken and a can Pepsi. Enough to feed me and grandmother. The food was tasty and the beans very tasty. This I’d a very simple place with really good food.

This place is great! I’ve ordered delivery from them plenty of times and they have always managed to be quick and tasty. I’ve had the chicharron de pollo (both con hueso and sin hueso) and the rotisserie chicken. Never had a complaint. Good seasoning, quick delivery and always warm food.
Only con I have about this place is their maduros. They don’t look like maduro and don’t taste too well.
Other than that this place is wonderful! Go for it!

Mangu is a great restaurant with a great variety in their menu. It is the ideal choice for lunch but just make sure you specify its a lunch or else they ll try to charge you like double the price for a bigger plate. The chicken is seasoned and grilled to perfection. and they also offer healthy options and make the best coffee on kingsbridge hands down. another great feature is their breakfast, just head in and ask for «the especial» you will not be disappointed for $ 5.50
