I lived it the Bronx my whole life and this is truly the only place I go to when I need anything from makeup, house goods even medicine. This place is much better then other Cvs

The retail side of the house is outstanding. The pharmacy, however, leaves MUCH to be desired. The lack of discretion on the part of the technicians is abysmal. They expect you to state your date of birth and address in public when you pick up your prescriptions. This may narrowly pass HIPAA muster but it is nonetheless intrusive and just plain rude. Like I’m going to blurt out my address in an open forum! No way will I ever get a prescription filled in this pharmacy where there is a total lack of regard for customers’ privacy. The pharmacy staff is also rude, short and arrogant. It is easy to tell that employee satisfaction is low and relations between pharmacists and technicians is, at best, strained. They need an HR makeover.

This cvs is within walking distance from my house and always has everything I need. I even got my passport photo taken here last month. This location is also 24 hours, that’s always a plus!

If I could give zero stars I would. Had two prescriptions put in 6 days ago, got a call my prescriptions were ready, greeted by the«pick up» cashier tonight with the only attitude only to find out they only filled one of my prescriptions. These people are idiots and so nasty for no reason. Literally only one competent, friendly person working back there. FYI I’m still here, an hour later. They have time to chat with a customer about her boyfriend leaving her for some chick in Jamaica an never coming back, but not to fill my prescription. Horrible. Trying Rite Aide instead next time. Don’t come here!

Very disappointed in my experience. I’m here to pick up needed medication. There are more staff in the pharmaceutical department than people online. Yet I’m waiting to drop off for 35 minutes. The department works at a snails pace. I hope there is a customer service auditing policy in place where the work output can be observed via remote CCTV at the coroprate office. Looking forward to a better experience.

From the outside, it looks like a regular CVS From the inside, it maintains this image.

Never again. CVS is a price gouging money sucker that doesn’t even pretend to be a customer friendly establishment. Everything about it reeks of cold, corporate greed, right down to the harsh fluorescent lighting, the couldn’t-care-less employees and the self-check out machines that never work. But what really clinched it? I bought two items tonight, a half-gallon of Skim-Plus Milk advertised at $ 4.39 and a bar of Dark Chocolate advertised at $ 3.59. I went to the automated check-out and they were rung up at $ 4.49 and $ 3.69 respectively. I wasn’t going to rave at management over 20 cents; and they probably count on you not going through the trouble over a lousy 20 cents. But it boiled my blood enough for me to decide right then and there to do two things: Never come to this store again unless it’s an absolute emergency and write this review.

Convenient place to come on Tremont and get just about anything you need since they have their own parking lot rather than trying to find street parking. Just don’t use the photocenter here… their machines are always broken and the pictures just don’t come out that good, if you ever get them.
