Great service, great drinks and the appetizers are amazing. Happy hour prices are the best in the Bronx. I love that I called once no one picked up but they called me right back. Your treated like family when you walk in not like a regular old customer. Thanks BESO and so happy your in the Bronx.

The service is unbelievably HORRIFIC, complete disrespect, CONFRONTATIONAL and zero customer service. I have never been so outraged in my life. My birthday dinner was completely ruined. Our so called waitress Carla took forever to come to the table with menus, when she finally did it was clear from her attitude she didn’t want to be there. Plopped down the menus and asked what we wanted to drink. After standing around chit chatting with the other staff she finally started making our drinks. Then she continued laughing and talking at the bar before bringing our drinks. We asked about some items on the menu and she didn’t seem interested in conversation so we just ordered. My chicken chunk appetizer came out raw. COMPLETELY UNCOOKED on the inside. I put it at the end of the table to get it out of my face because it smelled like rotting meat. She didn’t come to check on us until our dinner came out and when I tried to tell her about the chicken she just took the plate walked away and dumped it in the garbage. No apology, no nothing. Back to texting on her phone because we are not important. Then my cousins chicken mofungo was really dry and she wanted more gravy so I had to get up and walk over to her because waving our arms like idiots got tiring after a while. While I was there I asked her for drinks too since all of our glasses were empty. She actually ROLLED HER EYES before walking away from me. When I told my husband he asked for a manager and she said with a real ghetto homegirl attitude, «there isn’t a manager, why what’s the problem» and then looked at him like she was going to do something. My husband asked for her name and she said «Carla, DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!!!». My husband then told her that she was rude and because of her horrible attitude that we would be leaving. I didn’t even get to have a piece of cake for my birthday. She said OK, smiled walked away with a smirk and came back to drop the check on the table. AND she had the nerve to put a 20% tip on the bill. My husband asked her to remove it because there was no way he was giving her almost $ 40 in tips for her nasty attitude. She said she couldn’t take it off because the computer does it automatically. Outrageous!

Not only could your raw chicken have gotten me sick, but your waitress left a really bad taste in my mouth. Sadly, I will never use this app again. My first time trying it and it pointed me to a restaurant that gave me raw food served by a nasty ghetto waitress, then made me tip her $ 40 when she isn’t worth 40 cents. Get a manager to train your employees YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG!!!

From the first 15 minutes I arrived I could already tell that this is an amazing spot. It’s low key in the cut, good people, great staff and just a good time and plus they have food and I know nothing is better for me than getting drunk and having food

Awesome place. I had so much fun! I definitely recommend this place. My family & I went to beso lounge for a celebration. I will definitely go again.

I write about food for my living and after dining at Beso, I was thrilled. My friends have already returned and are now planning to have a party there. The Mofungo is outrageous and the
hosts warm and welcoming. For the prices they charge you should run there before the
menu changes and everyone discovers that they are superb. If you want the best of fun and food this is the place. Read my review in the Daily News on Saturday.

Horrible service.
Came here for a happy hour that a fraternity was hosting. I’m not going to lie, the vibe was good and so was the space.
The service–
First of all, there were only 2 bartenders at the bar (which was actually a very large bar). Second of all, they took forever to notice people and took even longer to take an order. Third of all– the false advertising. On the flyer it was stated that all mixed drinks were $ 5 and when I ordered a Malibu & cranberry, the bartender told me it was $ 9 last minute. The beers were also «$ 3» and when I got mine, they charged me $ 6. Lastly, when I tried to order food (which was stated in the flyer), they told me that they didn’t have what I was trying to order.
My friend and I spent about 20 minutes waiting to get noticed by the employees and when we did get noticed, we were suprised by the prices. I really tried to like this place but I am not going to accept bad customer service. I don’t care how packed a bar/​lounge is, employees should ALWAYS be ready for what’s to come. I noticed one bartender came in later on in the night and was doing her thing. Shout outs to her, though.
Come here again? Ummm. I’ll have to really think about that.
OH, and I forgot to mention that when I presented the 20% Unilocal coupon to the bartender, she said it wasn’t valid. Why promote coupons if they’re not valid? I don’t get it.

Had a good time. Mofongo is great. I had to go on Unilocal and see what else they had going on. They have free salsa class every Friday. I’m glad cause I need to freshin up on my turns… Good prices and $ 10 hookahs on weekdays. Works for me lol

I love this hookah lounge it was my first time and the staff was very friendly specially this one guy name Ricky so sweet, will def go back and specially to taste the food …

Had a pretty big cup of long island for $ 12 bucks. Only stopped in late night to have a quick drink after a long hard day at work. Service was good. 4 stars for the constant loop of bachata. Nothing else and i sat there for almost an hour.

I came here on a Wednesday evening and the place was pretty much empty. I have to say the place it’s beautiful and loved the sexy classy décor.
My friend and I sat at the bar and the bartender took longer than expected since the place was empty to come by to see what we wanted.
I asked for her a drink menu which they didn’t have, I then asked what the happy hour specials were and she didn’t really know. She did give us a food menu, I had dinner plans later on in the evening so we decided just to get an appetizer.
We went with the Churrasco nachos and they were amazing. It was a large portion, plenty of steak, avocado and delicious toppings.
We did noticed that other people were eating wings and they smelled delicious but I didn’t have room to eat more.
After going to the bathroom I noticed a flyer that stated the happy hour specials and one of them was $ 5 wings. No wonder everyone was having them I wished the bartender had given us this info but I couldn’t be too mad since the nachos were delicious.
I think if they got a more knowledge bartender who actually made good drinks this place could be great since the décor and food are top notch.

I do like this place as it is a neighborhood spot. My only complaint is that I ordered a Tom Collins (a very basic and fundamental drink that has been around forever) and two different bartenders couldn’t get it right. The first bartender mixed gin with club soda, the second gin and sour mix. The third bartender got it right finally!!! Btw its gin, sour mix topped with club soda and a lime wedge to be exact.

Just came here for a couple drinks with hubby and left because of the cockiness of the owner we were in line waiting to check our coats and we wanted to ask who was the dj tonight he literally ignored us and acted like a huge asshole he was literally 3ft away and couldn’t answer our question we left right away. If I can give this place 0 stars I would. WORST CUSTOMER! SERVICE & THE STAFF ARE TOTAL JERKS FULL OF THEMSELVES.

This was a nice chill spot. My boyfriend and I went for a few drinks, the bartender was nice, security was great. Everyone in here was 21 & over. I really enjoyed my time here, it was just very empty on a Friday night around 10pm when I went lol but that’s fine it was still a great time.

Their DJ is awesome! Music is always great. that’s hard to find all the time.
The ambiance is very chic with a mature crowd, and they now have food! I’ve only tried a couple of appetizers and they were delicious.
Definitely love this place and look forward to going back to try other menu items :)

Went here with my friend a few weeks back. We hadn’t seen each other in a while and it was earlier in the night. We Unilocaled some spots and came here. I gotta say this place has potential! I was pleasantly surprised by this small spot in the BX! So the DJ did play a mix but it was random, not good transition I guess? For 2min my friend and I would be bumping & grinding then they would switch it up, but not in a good way. lol. The drinks were good and they have hookah as well. Nice crowd and not ghetto BUT where was everyone? We got there somewhat early (around 11) and left at like 1, but it’s hard to get your bump on when it seems like a 5^th grade party and ppl dancing only w/​the group they came with. I mean the old white guy came and danced w/​my friend before any of these spanish guys sitting at the bar. *blah so corny*…have fun ppl! My friend and I are from busted for the record. I hate overpacked places but I wish it were more people there and the music was a bit better. I def would give this place another shot because of the mature crowd, nice décor, and drinks. So nice to find a place in the BX where I won’t feel like someone is about to whip out a glock on my A**. Will update this review when I go back in the future.

Initially, I would have given this place 4 stars, which I think is great for a small, spot located up in the BX. On a whole, the place is nice, easy to get to, plenty of street parking, great music and reasonable drinks/​hookah. The reason for the 1 star rather than 4 is because my credit card has twice been fraudulently re-​charged on nights that I have never been there. I only went one time and just today noticed a charge again of $ 109 on my account and had to close my card. I’ve called numerous times and left voicemails and no response or pick up. No biggie because I will get my money back, but if that’s how you conduct business by keeping past credit cards on file to charge whenever you please just in case you have a slow night and hope nobody is going to notice then think again.
So that pretty much sums up my 1 star. I’ve never had this problem at any other place in my life, so I wouldn’t even go back if the owner himself called, apologized for the inconvenience and offered me free bottles. Kick rocks, Beso Lounge.

I should had written this review 2 years ago when I 1^st went to Beso Lounge.
Let me start my saying that Beso is like no other place in the Bronx. The drinks are NOT water down, the music is great (a little bit of everything), you don’t have to have VIP in order to have room to dance (like many clubs, plenty of room by the bar), mature crowd (drama free) and above all the staff are absolutely amazing.
I always say that «every road leads to Beso», even if my friends and I go out to another club by the end of the night we always end up at Beso. In 2 years never once have I been disappointed.
Please give this place a chance, truest me you will be glad you did :)

Went there on Saturday, May 25, to celebrate my best friend’s bday (Love u, Gurl!!!). The place is beautiful, 3 big flat screens in the bar area, good drinks, young but cool crowd… but the DJ??? Oh Lawd, the DJ was horrible!!! Transitions were all over the place, mixing was terrible, and his crowd interaction killed me slowly :(
Would love to go back, but only if I can bring my own DJ.

Cool Lounge! Went here for my friend’s birthday party and loved the decorations. DJ was good but played a lot of old school music. :(
Our server was great! I forgot her name. I made a cake for my friend and they let me in their tiny kitchen (which was awesome)
Will def go back! :)
