Solidly delicious New York-style boiled and baked bagels that are not too big, not overly small. The space is very crowded, with only a few seats. There are no vegan/soy options available, and they’re cash only The staff were extremely nice. I think these are the best bagels available in the area, not counting Fairway Market’s bakery in Pelham.

Standard variety of bagels made super fresh. Fast friendly service. Great coffee and delicious bagels! Very satisfied with our 2 breakfast sandwiches. I highly recommend Carvers Club! Great way to start our day

The bagels are excellent!!! Fresh, hand rolled, and baked in this huge oven. The prices are reasonable and tge service is great. But, be mindful of the morning rush. There will be a wait for a breakfast sandwich.

Bagels on Bartow in CoOp City in the Bronx sold me a great«everything» bagel. The young chinese american girl that took my order was cheerful and helpful… and my bagel was literally just out of the oven. This business also participates with City Harvest, they have a bulletin board, as well as another board with a quote for the day… loved this place. The Dunkin Donuts next door is awful and to be avoided… Three cheers for Bagels on Bartow in the Bronx!

Good prices & friendly service & fantastic bagels. I particularly love the bialys here. This store has been in the same location for about 45 years, and while ownership changes, the quality of bagels here remains excellent. Dunkin Donuts just moved in next door. Avoid them, Bagels on Bartow is the real thing, much, much better than Dunkin. For other items, like pastries & food that blows away Dunkin, walk a short distance to Palombo.

We decided to try Bagels on Bartow after several unsuccessful attempts at Bagel Café.(Bagel Café is VERY expensive and their food is so-so). BOB is not only reasonably priced, but their bagels are very good!(The bagels are made onsite) I usually get a mini bagel with veggie cream cheese. Ben, of course, gets his usual everything with scallion cream cheese, sliced onions and lox. The service is wonderful. The people behind counter make me feel welcomed the moment I walk in. I highly recommend. quality bagels, reasonable prices, excellent customer service.

Bagels are decent, but the store has a few things to work on. I purchased a bagel with egg and sausage, and the sausage and egg didn’t feel as though it had just been made. Almost as if it had been someone’s canceled order which had been given to me. When I order a small hot chocolate, I don’t expect to be given a goddamn Swiss Miss packet of cocoa in return.

This little shop is a gem! They treat the elderly patrons like royalty. I don’t know when last I’ve patronized a business whose owner and staff gets the real point of entrepreneurship! Each time I’ve gone into the shop I’ve been so impressed with the place and people. If I don’t plan well and bring my lunch to work — that’ll be my spot.

Here we go again. Yet another place that showcases the phenomenon of Asian bagel making. This time it’s in Co-op city. They cracked the code that went into making Mexican food. They figured out the secrets of Latin food. They are now making headway into the science of creating a good Jewish bagel. Although Bagels on Bartow is not quite there yet, it definitely seems like a harbinger of things to come. Co-op city seems to be a little Utopia of sorts so I’m sure many of the residents would rather eat within the bubble rather than venture out to greener pastures. This place is located in one of Co-op city’s many shopping centers. The bagels here were ok. Nothing special. I had an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. They were out of their specialty jalapeño cream cheese. Something tells me that this place is usually out of a lot of specialty cream cheeses even though they post them on the menu board. The bagel itself was decent enough. Had a crunchy outside and soft inside. They’re learning. The place is rather small with some table seating but no bathrooms. One wonders whether this trend of bagel making from the far east will continue. I’ve no problems with it if they can produce an above average product. That remains to be seen.

Great tasting bagels and much better bagels than the bagel café in Bay Plaza. Love their poppyseed and everything bagels the most!

This place is tiny but the people are some of the nicest you’ll ever meet and the hand rolled freshly baked bagles are the best you’ll ever have. Combine that with the prices and you’ll thnk you’re in heaven!
