I have finally found my «gym home». It’s a mix of all body types, ages, and people and everyone is supportive of everyone else.(necessary when you’re pushing the sled with almost 3 times your body weight!) Jonathan gets a good understanding of what you can do, and pushes you to do more than you thought possible, without injury. I have lost inches, gained muscle and gotten stronger in the 3 months I’ve been here.

A while back, I started really feeling like my CrossFit gym just wasn’t the right fit for me… I tore a back muscle, then got a stress fracture in my foot, and felt like too many other people around me were getting injured all in the name of being harder/faster/stronger…but were they really better for it? Anyway, a good friend suggested I try his gym, and his words were, «When you’re ready to really get strong, come meet Jonathan at the gym.» Finally, I showed up and I was blown away. Almost everything in True Strength Gym is custom welded — the tools are like nothing you’ve ever seen or tried before. What really impressed me was the quality of coaching from Jonathan Catlett. He goes out of his way to learn as much as he can about his clients’ goals, remembers their accomplishments, helps heal and strengthen past injuries, and turns all of us into stronger, harder working athletes. In the past few months alone I’ve improved my endurance and strength more than ever. Body fat has dropped and my muscles have grown. It’s definitely a great place if you want to get stronger. And who doesn’t want to get stronger?! This gym also happens to be the official state representative gym for Mas wrestling.
