The manager is rude, lacks courtesy, the in store meat tastes terrible, like its gone bad. steer clear of this place, go to Market Basket, Vicentes, Price Rite, or even Shaws.

Definitely one of the better managed Stop&Shop stores throughout the area(yeah, I’m talking about the other Stop&Shop in Brockton and the terrible store near my house on Rt 1). I visited the Brockton location yesterday and had an amazing experience. Manager Amanda was super friendly, helpful, and kind. Employees Susan and Anna were also very helpful. The store was extremely clean, organized(and has the literal EXACT same layout as Shaw’s in the next plaza). This store seems somewhat remodeled, not nearly as great as my local Stop&Shop in Walpole(my favorite, nearby grocery store). Yet still seemed much cleaner than the nearby Shaw’s. Clientele is a bit loud(customers being loud in the store is NOT my cup of tea), but it’s across from Brockton High School, so really it is expected. Located on Route 123(Belmont Street), exit 17B off Rt 24 for 123 in Brockton. 4 stars

Prices are expensive and the customer service on the weekend is horrible. I will always make the effort to go to market basket instead atleast it’s cheaper there. You have to bag your own groceries even if they can clearly see you are disabled. Evil.

Stop & Shop has had a steadily declining customer service for years. Now they only have«self check outs» for 12 items or less. Terrible customer service in my eyes! Market Basket has no «self check outs» and 2 express registers at all times… you know where I’ll be shopping now! Good bye Stop & Shop!

I used to work at this Stop & Shop back in the day… not much has changed, and in my opinion, that’s a good thing. The store was always run by good management staff and everything is very orderly. We got an employee discount when purchasing lunch on our breaks, I quite liked that! Yes, Stop & Shop can be a little more expensive than say, a Shaws, but the store brand stuff is always better from here. The store is always clean and the salad bar is an added perk… usually very fresh veggies with hearty soups to boot. There’s a bus stop located outside the florist/deli entrance, a Red Box inside & a pharmacy station. If you come here late at night, not many registers are open and expect to be shopping alongside some crazies.
