Eeehhhh. It’s located in the mall and near Market Basket so it’s convenient, but that’s about all I can say that’s positive. Each time I’ve been I have to hunt for an employee to check me out, and when I attempt to use coupons usually I’m told the item is on sale so I can’t — even tho there is no sign saying the item is on sale!!! How frustrating!

Interesting Jo-Ann store, here at the Westgate Mall in Brockton. To describe it briefly, in one word, would be average. One word to describe how I feel about the store would be, annoyed. The store in general is definitely one of the remodeled locations, yet on the dirtier side, opposite the brand new location I’ve gone to for YEARS in Walpole. This store is also much smaller than all of the other Jo-Ann’s I’ve been to(Walpole, Milford, etc). Therefore, the selection seemed to be lacking what the other stores can offer. For that matter, they didn’t have much wood supplies(like boxes and such), and not any letter stickers, like I was able to get in the Walpole store. The staff were fine, and there wasn’t any line(and barely any customers in the store for that matter), but I wanted to use an AC Moore 50% coupon for an item at the register rack. She said since she didn’t think AC Moore had the item I couldn’t use it, how would she have known? Plus, I went to AC Moore following the visit here, and yes they did have the item. Not a HUGE deal, but if the Walpole JoAnn can use the coupon, they should be able to here as well! Following my visit, I called to speak with the store manager, Christopher who was very friendly(and definitely 5 stars!), and said that he likes to have printed coupons(which I guess he can do, since he’s the manager…), but that if it was printed the woman should have honored it. Overall, I would go to the Walpole location next time over here, but Christopher made the«1 star experience», into 3. +1 for keeping the store organized and the layout attractive. Located in the back section of the Westgate Mall in Brockton. Exit 18A off Rt. 24

It’s kind of a messy Jo-Ann Fabric store, but I guess it gets the job done if you find what you’re looking for. A friend and I searched high and low to no avail. We couldn’t find the color and material we were looking for in order to skew and redesign our Halloween costumes. And side note: if you’re thinking we were doing what all broads do these days in making them more slutty, you’re wrong. In fact, we were adding fabric so as to class them up a bit. Ok, back to the store… we weren’t helped immediately, but eventually a salesgirl came to our aide. It was too bad we had to shop elsewhere in the end.

Staff: pleasant and charming Store organization: terrible Perhaps I have been spoiled by the extreme cleanliness, charming women and overall selection at the North Attleboro location, which I have frequented for years without an iota of a complaint. I just moved, so I stopped in Brockton location to pick up some fabric for a project. Due to their lack of proper organization, I ended up having 6 yards of fabric cut of a 54″ fabric, which is twice as much as 45″ fabric(which is what I needed). They had a whole shelf of 54″ fabric under a sign that said 45″ fabric — $ 9.99/yd. Shame on me for not noticing the subtle difference in bolt size. I saw 45″, saw a bunch of bolts the exact same size under said sign, ergo I selected and cut my fabric. Call me cheap, I had a 50% off coupon that is good on one continuous piece of fabric. In my mind, I’m thinking that I’ll be spending $ 35ish when all was said and done. It rang it at $ 65, which made sense pre-coupon discount. Lo and behold, that’s when I was told it was 54 inch fabric, that was on sale for $ 11/yd. The manager was sweet but she made me sound like I was an idiot for not knowing I grabbed 54 inch fabric. From a pile of other 54 inch fabric. I’m heading down to North Attleboro, where I will promptly hug the first employee I see and profusely apologize for cheating on them.
