This is the worse Haitian restaurant in Brockton and I will never return again Here is why: My friend and I went here to order food after painting all day and was craving island food. When we arrived the owner«Jeano» was at the front desk on his phone, never acknowledging our presence until my friend asked him about the«fried snapper dinner«while Jeano continued to glance at his phone he told my friend that the snapper would cost 12 – 28 dollars. We both said what the hell does that mean? He said he had all type of sizes and he wouldn’t know the price until he picked the fish. So my friend said give me the $ 12 fish. Jeano then said he couldn’t ensure that he can pull the 12 $ fish since he had so many fish in the fridge. So I got involved and told him that what he just said didn’t make sense. I told Jeano if the fish is «Market price» than he should have a set price for the day. You can’t cook the fish then say it cost $ 25 dollars after the fact; Mind you he is still looking at his phone never giving his NEWFIRSTTIMECUSTOMERS his full attention. I live in Canton and my friend lives in Sharon. We drove all the way to Brockton to be treated like Shit by this unprofessional business owner. Regardless to say we left and told all our friends not to visit this establishment. Not to mention the restaurant had a stinky smell from the carpet and a tacky menu sitting on a gum ball machine. My advice to Mr. Jeano’s is to learn customer service skills and know your menu. You made an assumption about your 2 new customers, bad mistake — I’m a primary care doctor and my friend owns a very successful construction company ! Don’t let the jeans with paint and work exterior fool you as you just lost major new business. We will NEVER return and we will make sure our colleagues know of our horrible experience too. If I could give negative stars that is what you deserve. Clean your restaurant, pull up that stinky carpet, open a window, and take customer service classes!!!

I’ve been going to this place consistently for awhile now. even with another opening of a new restaurant … today was the final straw after multiple times of missing things, long wait, running out of food … I’ve always had a problem with the service but I never let it really get to me until today. called in for a pick up oxtail with rice and beans and extra plantains with picklee. didn’t get the extra plantains & had to go back … the oxtail is completely inedible my fork won’t even puncture the meat. I asked if you had oxtail and if it wasn’t ready, I shouldn’t have been served it … I wasted $ 15& that’s honestly a lot for one plate of food. I’m done with this place

The food is crap. I ordered Fritay and it’s the worse I’ve had in MA, it’s gotta be bad juju because I can’t seem to catch a break with Haitian food in this state. Where I’m from I’m usually sharing my plate that can barely be closed with two other people and that runs me about $ 10. I’ve never gotten Fritay with French fries before and acra that made me throw up and 1 piece of something that I would explain because o threw it away cause it looked like a a piece of shit.

The food is good, most people wouldn’t deny that. The service is beyond lackluster. The individuals who pick up the phone acts as though you are bothering them. They rush you off the phone and when they repeat the order back to you its all wrong. Haitians generally don’t complain enough and simply settle and this is a classic example of that result.

Jeano’s is a good option for Haitian cuisine in Brockton, because it’s the only option, so of course they can afford to slack, and not care. Issue #1– While most of the Haitian restaurants in Boston and Somerville, have mastered call in times, Jeano’s hasn’t. You call in your order a half hour before, show up 45 mins after and don’t get it for another half hour, because clearly it’s just being made. Issue #2– Needs some interior maintenance and upgrade. I didn’t give it a 1 star, because their food is good most of the time, when done right and checked. Someone needs to open another Haitian restaurant in Brockton, it doesn’t make sense that there’s only one.

Best Haitian cuisine! Every time I come home this is where I end up. Try the goat in sauce!
