Definitely a new favorite. It’s no Caswells but it will definitely do. Plenty portions that’s for sure. Plus if your like me you love knowing there’s a great place for dessert behind the building.

First thing that always comes to mind when I think of Franks is their crunchy, hugely proportioned, deliciously homemade onion rings! Freaking love them here!
I usually get the scallop plate and I’m never disappointed. Tons of delicious scallops fried to perfection. They have clam plates here too (whole clams or strips) that are just as awesome.
I’m a huge turkey club fan too but the one time I ordered one here I thought it was tiny! So i always just stick to the seafood here.
Tables are dirty and I agree with other Unilocalers that the staff are not the warm and fuzzy types (which means it’s always take-​out for me) but the seafood and onion rings are the best around!
They also have clam chowder here that’s pretty good but just on Friday’s.
Prices are crazy cheap too.

If you’re in the mood for inexpensive clam strips, this is the place. Their clam strip plate is under $ 10 with fries and slaw. You can substitute onion rings for. 50 more. We ordered a small side of onion rings and 3 of us shared them. The clam strips were very good, nothing special about the fries. The burgers seemed to be cheap thin frozen patties that had me guessing if the sliced tomatoes were thicker than the beef. The kids didn’t really like the burger buns toasted either. I thought they were quick and friendly and the prices were very reasonable.

Always a mainstay that Ive always gone to. One thing i can say is absolutely consistent. The food is always good, prices are fair and its gives the feel of a eat in diner.

I bought a medium order of Clamstrips based on the reviews. My Clamstrips were luke warm and tasted like rubber. Needless to say I very disappointed. I wasted my time and $ 12.35. If you want delicious clamstrips try Lobster Barn in Abington.

Heard good things about this place. Showed up to find a cafeteria style layout. After I placed my order, I was surprised to find EVERY TABLE not cleaned… at 3:00 in the afternoon. The seafood platter was quickly ready. Clam strips instead of bellies!?? No flavor whatsoever! No sweetness to the scallops, shrimp was flavorless, as well as the fish. Definitely not a good experience here!!!

I haven’t been there in years, because they were very rude to me last time I went. This time I went out of necessity, because I had to bring my son to doctor right down the street. Nothing has changed. They practically tossed the tray at me, and the guy wouldn’t speak when I said hello. No eye contact, and they treated all the non white customers that way. My 15 year old even noticed. I won’t lie, the food is good, however the dining area was unkempt, and all the tables were dirty. It was only noon, so it’s not like lunch over was over. (No need for dirty tables everywhere) food was also way overpriced. Your restaurant is in a diverse city. No room for your racist nonsense. Needless to say, we won’t be returning. I should also mention, a reviewer on Google practically mirrored my experience.

Usually I love this place but today was just not my day. My mother had ordered me a chicken sandwich basket and while eating, i hit something hard in my mouth. Spat out what was in my mouth only to find a piece of plastic or glass, I’m not sure. I’m sure it’s plastic but either way it shouldn’t be in my food.

Love This Place! Everytime that I visit the area, I go to FRANK’S! Their service makes me feel at home, like I’m one of the guys. I always get the Fish & Chips with a side of at least 2 franks (hotdogs). Tonight, I finally got the Chowder, that you can only get on Fridays. The next time that I visit the area, I will have to include a Friday in my stay for the Fish & Chips & Chowder!!!

Love there food. Fast friendly. & fresh. & hot. I’m a regular so I’m always satisfied.

First time at Franks with family. The tables needed to be cleaned off. The haddock was very good but the onion rings were over and under done. The service was quick. Prices are average to high. The clam roll was a bit chewy. The steak and cheese was pretty decent.

I’ve been going to Frank’s off and on for about thirty years; they’re consistent. A couple of their staff have been there that long.
The pic posted w/​the order slip laying on the hot dogs is gross; in all the years I’ve gone there I’ve never seen that. I’m sure the board if health would take issue with that and if that were my food I would have spoken up in that.

Rude owner bad food. I will never go back again! The place was dirty. The food came out burnt. He argued with me that it was not burnt.

Minus one star for appearance but this place has the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.

Great food at this place! I can order anything off the menu and be satisfied. I usually get the clam strip plate though! ;D

The guy taking my order was SO rude. He just kept snapping at me. I ordered a large fry for people i work for and he said «no one needs that many fries». Not his place to say. The customer is always right. You serve what i order. Very unpleasant person to deal with.
On top of that– not very clean. I had to walk through the KITCHEN to use the bathroom. Weird.

If you love lightly battered seafood then this is the place for you! Try the raspberry lime Rickey to go with your meal! I’ve been going here for 10+ years and there is a Fresh Catch near my home. Fresh Catch’s batter is terrible so I drive the extra 20 minutes so worth it!!!

Service without a smile, but I’ll survive.
Love this place. Can’t beat the seafood, but I find myself always getting a cheeseburger basket. Old jukebox tunes and an extensive menu for what looks like a small kitchen. A decent spot if you feel like eating something late that isn’t fast food.
The counter help has been the same cast of characters since I’ve started going, and they’re rough, but they don’t hurt my feelings. I don’t need a hug when I order a burger…
Stop by and give this place a chance if you’re in the mood for seafood or a basic burger. Cheap prices, good stuff.

A little dirty, a little snarky counter attitude, and just fried foods. I think they have changed from their sign because I expected something other than fried foods. It looks like it used to be another restaurant but now it’s just a counter and booths.
The food was decent. I had fried shrimp and a delicious lime rickey. However, I wasn’t in the mood for fried shrimp so it wasn’t perfect. They also called out the food in the most random order. Instead of having it sit (warm up front) until the rest of the food was ready, our party of 8 got our drinks and food in the most random order. They also didn’t call numbers and didn’t get all the drinks until prompted and you had to check and check to see if the food was ready. I think I would go back if this was a clam shack on the beach in the summer but it’s right near Brockton and divey.
