Very reasonably priced assortment of clothing, home décor, toys, furniture, shoes, books, etc. Not the best clothing selection, you’d be better off at Goodwill, but I’ve found some great furniture and home décor here. I love the vibe. The senior volunteers aren’t the speediest, but they make up for it with their service.

Are you in the props department for a film set between 1988 and 2002? Have no fear, New To You stands ready to accommodate you. Need an original Playstation? A copy of King’s Quest IV? Nikon cameras for FILM? A sports jersey with the team’s OLD logo? You’ve come to the right place. They also have older LP’s(sometimes with scandalous covers), and lots of CDs. There’s also a good selection of books, some of which are straight-up free.(However, visitors to the VHS section may find that the signs reading«adult videos» do not comport with their own definition of that term.) There’s also glassware, clothing, and furniture– all priced at a steal. Go for it!

I just don’t know why I’m constantly abusing myself by reviewing businesses in sweet, nice, calm Broadview, IL, but for some bad reason I am. I miss this thrift store, a lot, even though I hardly visited it when I lived in Maywood. I think like between 2002 – 2007, I went to this place three times, but each trip was a good one. I didn’t get a chance to purchase much, but the large selection of cheap, clean, neatly organized merchandise always made me wish I had much more money on hand to buy more. The staff were always friendly and helpful, every time I came here, so that’s something else which always made me feel welcome. Okay, nostalgia’s overtaken me! I’ve gotta come back here very soon! LOL.
