You ever hear that ol sayin, «If ya can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all»? Well let me keep that thought in mind as I write. I dreaded the trip here. I have no vision coverage with my insurance plan, I wasn’t crazy about wearing glasses, and I was admitting to myself that I’m getting OLD. All that said. The good part about my dealings here at Vision works is one thing. The price I paid for 2 pairs of «Guess» framed prescription glasses, $ 340. That’s a decent deal, right?.I’d never been in the market for glasses. Yeah I know there’s all those Ray-Bans, Prada, Choo, Coach… etc. But I really gotta love something awful bad to pay $ 600 bucks for 1 pair of frames. The customer service here was hit and miss. I crossed paths with some nice, professional folks. I crossed paths with some folks that didn’t have a clue about anything they were explaining or trying to sell me. Probably the worst part of this visit to VW, was the individual that performed the eye exam. I’ll assume he was an Eye Dr. but I wouldn’t swear to it. Once I declined the additional eye test and the eye dilation, I was one less he could mark down as part of his daily quota. Rude, evasive, curt and pretty much an all around ass. Hell by the time I was done with that exam contraption«Phoropter» I didn’t know if I needed glasses or go back to kindergarten to learn my ABC’s. He went thru those lenses like he was shuffling cards. So, all’s well that ends well I guess. I probably wouldn’t recommend this joint to anyone unless they’re looking to save some $$. Really 3 stars is to generous, but the price was right, and the actual professionals that do work there helped.
