The ambiance was homey with family style seating & an impressive book collection. They even kept some of the old décor from the Corner Store that used to be here. The owner was super nice & the service was superb. A great place to catch up with friends. This place has real potential in this location & I love that Bristol is getting more culture. Plentiful easy parking. Low prices. The food is clean. The enchilada taco was blue & crisped in the oven rather than deep fried — which I loved. I hoped this would be on par with say, Chipotle(VT has one now!). Overall I thought the vegetarian options were limited & low on the flavor scale. I would recommend adding a few things, such as guacamole &/or avocado, and spiced corn or roasted pepper & zucchini for more flavorful variety. I’d add more spices to the black beans, maybe offer a couple bean options. And in the winter especially, I might add a crock pot of chili so people always have that as an option too. Adding a churro &/or flan option for dessert would be nice for the kids.

The handmade chorizo was possibly the best I’ve ever had. My wife ordered the turkey and barbacoa enchiladas which were also excellent. The grapefruit Mexican soda was a nice complement. My wife and I spent $ 20 and we left feeling full. The décor was festive with piñata’s hanging from the pressed tin ceiling and bright multicolored walls. Numerous cookbooks were on display at the front which were fun to browse while waiting for our food.
