First morning of vacation before groceries had been bought and company arrived I treated myself to breakfast at the Bristol diner. There was a table ready and I ordered an omelette with home fries and toast it was served fresh and hot and delicious and I did not have to wait long for it. That breakfast hit the spot most of my family had already been to the Bristol diner but this was my first outing it was so good I brought my guests back but unfortunately they were having a plumbing problem so we had to try another option which was ok but way more expensive! Hope they solve their problem soon so more people can enjoy a good breakfast and a fair price. I would definitely go back. Four stars for fast yummy breakfast and for welcoming a sole diner at table as the counter would be uncomfortable for me. The server was great handling the steAdy flow with a good morning for each new party and an endless pot of coffee. Impressive.

Excellent. !!! ***** So happy to be the second diner to review this great find. Have driven by many times over the years and never stopped. So happy I did in July 2014. Delicious Lunch Special. Great Food and Great Value. They cared … I hope to be” from away” one day and will be a regular customer. Keep up your hard work and efforts as they must pay. The special was Turkey and dressing. It was as nice as Thanksgiving in July. !!!

A huge surprise. The diner is decorated as you would expect a local eatery to be decorated. Pictures of the town, random signs and license plates etc. The food is excellent. I had a pulled chicken sandwich and a haddock chowder, both were delicious. My dad had the quiche and the chowder. I was not able to try any of his quiche because he finished it before I could ask, but he said it was very tasty. The service was good and the food came fast. Definitely worth a stop if you are coming through.

The Biscuits and Gravy were one of the top five ever! The sausage gravy… maybe number one! It had a velvety texture like no gravy I’ve ever had and a fennel seed flavor, without the actual seeds. Eggs were cooked like requested. The wife said the corned beef hash was good and the home fries had the perfect crust to them. The server was a super friendly young man and perfectly attentive. If you find yourself on the 1 highway in Damariscotta, jump off onto 129 South to 130(Bristol Rd) go about 5 miles and it’s on your right. Well worth it for breakfast and it’s open much earlier than other places around. Note: Closed on Wednesdays.

Quaint little diner in Bristol Mills. Can’t believe a Unilocaler hadn’t reviewed this place. Stopped in for breakfast. Friendly service, food was very good. Had blueberry pancakes and French toast. Both were great.
