After searching and getting quotes from a couple different people, these guys were the best priced. Few hiccups… they couldn’t make it out the day there were supposed to quote but they called and came the next day… which was fine. I needed my front tree groomed, and my back 3 trees groomed as well and one taken out. I also told him that there would be not need to drag away all the wood as it could be piled up in the back. The lady, Susie, who organizes everything is awesome! She emailed me all the insurance information and kept on top of making sure 8 – 8:30am on Saturday was going to work. Saturday morning arrives and after rushing back from breakfast I get a call at 8:20am that they are delayed and will be there around 9 – 9:30am. This would have been fine had we been called earlier and not had to ditch breakfast. At 9:30am Joe arrives and he and my husband start mapping out the way the trees will be cut. Joe leaves(saying he will be back around 2−3pm) and our tree cutter Tim goes to town. Tim did an amazing job on the front tree and the two helpers cleaned my front yard veryvery well picking up all the leaves and sticks from the mess it created. In the backyard the other 3 were trimmed and again all was cleaned up very nicely. Another hiccup though… the 4th tree that needed to be removed was near the power lines and Tim said that Joe(who still had not shown up) was supposed to take the lines down so he could cut the tree. Well Joe never showed and @ 5pm as I was out doing errands I got a call from Susie saying that they will have to resume on Monday. Not happy about that as my husband who is out of town came home specifically for this. Also noted since Joe never showed back up to pick up the other two helpers, Tim had to drive them each home one by one on his motorcycle. Monday… I get home and find the backyard now less one tree… but not cleaned up. Granted our verbal quote included clean up and the physical that I received Friday night did not, but since they cleaned up the mess on Saturday I assumed that they would do the same on Monday. I know dragging the front tree’s mess to a truck would have been easier, but 4 trees in the back to drag around to the front would have been actually more work. Joe called asking to pick up the check and after letting him know of my displeasure he said he would cut the stump a little shorter and pick up the rest of the sticks. Overall I was happy with the way my trees looked, I just would prefer to just deal with Susie and Tim from here on out.
