Not stocked, prices are outrageous, employee working was a complete ass hole!!! When asked a question about the fountain drinks he says I don’t know 2 something, then asked how much for the large he says umm more then the medium but he was legit serious! There was no joking tone in his voice. Then the 3 $ fountain drink tasted like nasty old soda way too much syrup.

The café that moved to Milleys chalet. I took my boys here for lunch one day after fishing. We ordered the fish and chips and split it. It came with two cod fillets that were the size of my small palm. Not worth $ 9.50. They also charge an extra $ 1 for splitting a meal.

Charged for NOT wasting food! ! What an awful and expensive breakfast experience. I ordered a meal which came with 3 eggs and a side toast. I told the server that was more food than I wanted since I was also sharing a pancake, so I asked her if she could just bring me two eggs and no toast so the food didn’t get wasted. She said no problem and that I could substitute the pancake for the toast. When the bill arrived, nothing was itemized and I was over charged by $ 10– which was MORE than the cost of the breakfast. The server said that I was charged twice for substitutions– one charge for only having 2 eggs instead of 3 and another charge for NOT having toast AND they charged me for the pancake. I asked to speak with the manager but she was also the cook(and the owner) and wouldn’t come to the register. The server agreed that the charges made no sense, but said the owner did not care. This was a horrible experience. Avoid this restaurant and CHECKYOURBILL.

A great value considering the awesome location. Other restaurants open in the summer in this canyon are much more expensive, so if money matters, this place is worth a try. I eat here 2 – 3 times each summer, and am always happy with good food, good service, and a homey atmosphere with a view. The menu is short, but this allows them to keep it high quality. I have enjoyed the breakfast and lunch items I have ordered. I guess I should go there for dinner sometime.

Great food in the mountains at a good price! A store with just about everything you need.

What a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery! The café is really reasonably priced for being at the top of a canyon, and the weekend BBQ is unbelievably priced! $ 6 gets you a burger, chips and a drink? That is crazy for the top of a canyon! Everyone is mellow and friendly. The pre made sandwiches in the cooler make a great quick meal and taste so good! I woul definately recomend their colosal rice krispy treats! YUM!

Cute little country store and café atop the canyon at Brighton. We hit this place up after hiking to get a snack and perhaps an ice cream treat on hotter days. The store side is lacking in the snack department, but I suspect its because they’d prefer you ate at the café instead of a grab and go meal. They do have some lower calories options, like the Nabisco 100-calorie snack packs and little hummus and pretzel packs in the cooler. They don’t have a lot beyond that and chips. They have a ton of novelty candies for kids. The café serves typical diner fare, but is way on the pricey side. One day on the specials board I saw root beer floats for $ 5. Ouch. The counter where you pay has a lot of delicious looking baked goods in it like humongous cookies and muffins, but I’ve never tried them. We have never dined at the café, but plan to, eventually. They have a monopoly being the only place to grab a cold drink and a bag of chips on the mountaintop, but I enjoy the general-store look of the place and the charm of the mountain resort in general.

Nothing fancy here but this quirky café makes a nice burger. Given the location you can easily take a nice hike to walk off the fries. Simple burgers & fries. Friendly service. Rustic locale. Beer from the store’s fridge if you’re so inclined. ~m
